Assuming native animal forms and transforming into robots only to do battle, The Maximals fight to stop the Predacons from conquering the galaxy. In their quest to find a way back home, the discover the majesty of this strange world's power and the threat posed by its mysterious alien caretakers. Mainframe entertainment takes you to a CGI-animated world where there's more than meets the eye! The first volume of the Beast Wars is scheduled to be released in January 2002. Suggested price of DVD is $19.99 and VHS is $9.95. SEIBERTRON.com will begin making image archives from these DVDs once they have been released.

Media: Previews, a comic shop product magazine, has the Transformers "Season 1" VHS/DVD set listed in their catalog. Check out the link here! I believe that Previews marks up their prices, though I'm not sure. Previews has the DVD boxed set priced at $89.95. There had better be some good extras included. Are Beast Wars DVDs from Rhino just around the corner?
