And just like That, we've reached the final week of the 2017 Seibertron Transformersmas Holiday Photo Challenge! It's not over yet, though! We do have a few final days before Christmas, and that means we need a new theme! Last week we covered cooking, and got some great entries (or entrées?). Be sure to check out our favorite submissions of the past week down below!
This week, however, we turn our attention to...
Holiday Traditions!
Share what you and your family (and your Transformers) do for the holidays! Decorating a tree, hanging stockings, leaving cookies out for Santa, the possibilities are quite endless! Also, if you celebrate a different holiday other than Christmas, this is the perfect time to share your Traditions, as well! Lighting a Menorah or an Advent wreath, or spinning a dreidel. Non-Christmas winter holidays are not only allowed but encouraged! Pick four winter holiday Traditions to share with your TFs, and post them once a day down below! You can also share your submissions on social media with #Transformersmas.
We can't wait to see what you come up with for the final theme of Transformersmas!
And now, our favorite submissions from the past week:
Once again, Seibertronians, it’s time to deck the halls, trim the tree, and break out some bots! It’s officially Transformersmas! Our annual photo challenge is here again, and we're doing things a bit differently this year. Go ahead and check out our announcement article from a couple weeks back to catch up on all the new details!
If you read that article, you know that we're now doing weekly idea prompts to make the load of 25 photos in 25 days a bit lighter! This being the first week, the theme is
Winter Sports!
Just because it’s cold doesn't mean your bots can't stay active! Take them on an adventure, whether it's skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, intertubing, or anything else you can come up with, and share the results here! Pick seven winter-themed sports and post a photo once a day down in the comments below!
After you share your photos, check back next Friday (one week from now) where we'll have picked a couple favorites from the past week and posted them up on the front page for all to see! We'll also be announcing week 2's theme at that time, as well. And of course, you'll be featured in our Transformersmas round-up at the end of December!
Can't wait to see what you guys come up with! Get shooting, and Merry Transformersmas!
We're back this month with another instalment of the creative round-up we've all come to know and love: Transtopia is back, and it's time to wrap up warm, watch the chestnuts roasting, and forget what holiday is supposed to go where - it's robots time.
Take a look below at the works of creative side of the Seibertron.com community, including paint jobs, customs, touch ups, fan fiction, artwork, builds, mods, comics, photos, and more. Make sure to comment if you like what you see, and support the creators in their threads, too!
THE HELP DESK
Fellow Seibertronian mordhelm bring good tidings with a question about art, and specifically, how to repaint a certain Frenzy figure - drop in some knowledge here!
First, and most importantly, at the end of the challenge we'll be throwing up a compilation of all of your holiday photos on the front page for all to see, inspired by our regular creative roundups. This is our way of saying thank you for participating and contributing.
Secondly is the important addition of weekly photo prompts. Since it's a bit hard to come up with 25 individual photo ideas by yourself, we're going to add a prompt or theme for your photos. You by no means have to follow these prompts exactly all week long, but they're there for inspiration just in case you hit writer's...or, uh photographer's block! Here's the prompts we'll be using this year:
Starting Friday, December 1st through Thursday, December 7th: Winter Sports! Whether it's hockey, ice fishing, snowball fights, or even just snowman making, there are plenty of winter activities for your TFs to partake in! Post what you come up with through that week.
Starting Friday, December 8th through Thursday, December 14th: Holiday Movies! Everyone has a favorite holiday film, so recreate a few iconic scenes with your figures!
Starting Friday December 15th through Thursday, December 21st: Baking/Cooking! Share your robots making this year's Christmas dinner, baking that classic family recipe, or just making some Hot Cocoa on a cold day!
Starting Friday, December 22nd through Christmas Day, December 25: Holiday Traditions/Festivities! To Round out the final leg of our challenge, we'll focus on the holiday traditions we practice this time of year. If it's Hanging stockings above the fireplace, seeing Santa, lighting the Menorah, or reading "The Night Before Christmas", share your traditions with your TFs, and then share the results with us!
We'll post an update every week with the new week's theme, starting December 1st to kick things off, and we'll include some of our favorites from the previous week. (Even if your photo gets shared in the weekly posts, it will still get reposted in our final roundup)
The third and final change we're making is: Twitter! Transformersmas has taken twitter! If you share your photo on Twitter and tag Seibertron (@seibertroncom) or use the hashtag #transformersmas, not only will your photo be included in the final roundup and have a chance to be included in the weekly updates, but the official Seibertron account will retweet your submission to our followers over there, as well! Speaking of social media, carrying over from last year, you can also use the hashtag #transformersmas over on Instagram as well to be featured.
It's important to note that Transformersmas is not just limited to Christmas. Any winter holiday you celebrate is not only accepted, but encouraged!
We're confident these changes will make the challenge better, and we'll see some great photos from you, Seibertronians! Happy photographing, and happy holidays from Seibertron.com!
Prepare your clean pants: the Transtopia spotlight feature is back from the dead! *door creaks in background*
With con season over for our part of the fandom, we have finally some time to unearth the works of the bustling nest of creatives that is the Seibertron.com community, including paint jobs, customs, touch ups, fan fiction, artwork, builds, mods, comics, photos, and more. Make sure to comment if you like what you see, and support the creators in their threads, and pick their brains for more information about their techniques and ideas...

THE (NO ONE CAN) HELP DESK
Fellow Seibertronian Black Hat has started a thread to collect all thoughts on custom ideas for anyone willing to join and share creative tips and pointers for projects. You can find it here!
In other news, we have an art request from du365! If you've ever drawn the live-action movie characters with a more TF: Animated style, let them know in this thread.
We've been away for quite a bit, in terms of this Transtopia spotlight feature. San Diego Comic Con happened in July, and before that it was the turn of The Last Knight month for pretty much all of June, and we just weren't able to catch a break! But here we are again, with the Seibertron.com creative round-up - Summer Special!
Check out below the collected works of paint jobs, customs, touch ups, fan fiction, artwork, builds, mods, comics, photos, and more from the Seibertronian community - make sure to comment if you like what you see, and support the creators in their threads.
NOTE: If your thread or custom posted since May 2017 has not been featured, it's most likely due to the lack of images due to the change in Photobucket policies. We apologise for that, and will gladly feature your work in next month's roundup if images are replaced!
THE HELP DESK
More of a gift than a request, fellow Seibetronian GotBot has shared their video for tips for beginners at customising toys! Check it out below, and see the thread here.

We just so happen to coincide with Easter Sunday (if that's a thing for you), so let's hop to it, shall we? Here's the next round of customs, fan art, builds, paint jobs, tweaks, fiction, more fiction, comics fiction, text fiction and even more art; check it all out below and make sure to let the authors know if you liked something!

The Transformers Photo Game That Has to do with Movies is still going strong! Test your mettle and metal by heading to the thread here, and figuring out what scene is being re-created with toys, as shown below (latest image has been guessed, want to try a new one?)
Another couple of weeks have passed, and we return to Transtopia and the more creative side of Seibertron.com - making sure to include any previous endeavours that we missed last month. Life has a habit of getting in the way of things, alas! But, without further ado, we bring this next round of customs, fan art, builds, paint jobs, tweaks, fiction, more fiction, comics fiction, text fiction and even more art; check it all out below and make sure to let the authors know if you liked something!

Operation: The Forge Returns for TFNation 2017
TFNation is not only pleased to announce that The Forge is returning for TFNation 2017, but also that applications are now open!
The Forge, located in a specially designated room just outside of the main convention hall, is our home for fan art and crafts and shall be joined this year by various other features, details to be announced in future transmissions. The Forge is an area for our creative attendees to promote, display and sell their work.
Here is how it works...
STAGE 1 - MAKE AN APPLICATION
Aspiring Forge artists and crafters are required to pre-register their interest by completing the application form linked below.
You must be aged 16 or above to make an application. You do not need to have booked a ticket at this stage - you are free to apply before making that decision.
Successful applicants will receive an email inviting them to make a formal booking. Applicants who are not successful this time will be notified and will be welcome to apply again in future years.
TFNation staff will allow a grace period of 14 days, until March 13th, before reviewing applications. This is to allow as many people as possible the chance to apply. All applications will be reviewed by TFNation staff. If necessary, applications will remain open after March 13th until all spaces are sold.
Space will once again be limited, so we recommend getting your applications in as soon as you can.
STAGE 2 - PAY FOR YOUR TABLE
If your application is successful, you will then be able to book your table.
Both Forge Craft and Forge Artist Alley stalls cost £25.00, including built in insurance. You must also hold a valid TFNation 2017 full weekend ticket.
If you do not hold a weekend ticket then one shall automatically be added to your Forge booking. If you have already purchased a day ticket and your Forge application is approved, then your ticket will be automatically upgraded to a Weekend ticket for an additional price.
Full terms and conditions will be available at the time of booking - but here are the important things you need to know about each table type.
FORGE CRAFT STALLS
- For attendees to promote, display and sell any hand-made craft items. Up to three individuals may share a single Forge Craft Stall.
- Stalls cost £25.00.
- Stalls are only available to attendees who have purchased a weekend ticket.
- Some crafters produce art prints of their creations. We are happy to allow these, however toys, sketches and art commissions may not be sold here. This is to protect our artists and traders who have invested a lot of time and money into their stalls.
FORGE ARTIST ALLEY STALLS
- For attendees to promote and display any art prints, sketches and art commissions.
- Artist Alley stalls are for one person only.
- Stalls cost £25.00.
- Stalls are only available to attendees who have purchased a weekend ticket.
- Toys and craft goods may not be sold here. Again, this is to protect our traders and crafters.
All stalls must be staffed by the person(s) who paid for them. This is to ensure the safety of your stock and our attendees. The TFNation crew are unable to staff stalls.
Please CLICK HERE for further details on applying to The Forge.
We look forward to seeing your amazing creations!
Further transmissions to follow.
