Thanks to 蓝色正午 on Weibo, we have in hand images of the Buzzworthy rerelease of Studio Series deluxe Kup with new deco. This toy has been released at collector stores in Hong Kong and while it is ready for distribution, we just don't know when it will land in the west and make its way to Target shelves. For now, we can at least see what is going on deco-wise with this toy. It has some very specific callbacks to shots of Kup from the Transformers Movie, bringing it closer to an onscreen likeness. We lso have shots of the back of the box of both Kup and Cliffjumper.
The Takara Premium Finish figures are out, some for a little while and others just a few days ago. So, we have video reviews for four of them now. Seibertron Japan correspondent MattinJapan gave us his review for Megatron which just came out (yay more of that Siege mold!) which gave us the idea to do this roundup. These reviews give us a good idea at the deco, which is what this line is all about. We also have reviews from Ultrazilla, PvP and Gavinstoycupboard. Enjoy them and let us know if you'll get any of these. If you do want them, they are all available at various online importers, like bigbadtoystore.
The Kingdom news is non stop today. We had sightings of Pipes and Slammer, a review of Terrorsaur and now a review of Blaster. He was found in the US last week, meaning that the only Kingdom toy left to be found is core class Hot Rod. Fellow Seibertronian O.Supreme gave us wind of this review which you can see below. While you could look for it on shelves, it is much easier to simply pre order him online where he is plenty available. Let us know if you will be getting this.
We know that the Golden Disk toys are shipping out in different places across the world and someone in Japan got the Golden Disk Terrorsaur. We thank fellow Seibertronian Immortal Starscream for sharing this review with us.
Immortal Starscream wrote:Japanese toy reviewer Wotafa just dropped a review for Golden Disk Terrorsaur. While in Japanese, it's still a very good look at the toy. Always love how excited this guy gets.
It is a Christmas Miracle! Transformers Kingdom deluxe wave 5 has been found at US retail. It consists of Pipes and Slammer with some repacks. TF fan Mirarage found this at a Walmart in Exton PA. Here are the wave contents:
1x Blackarachnia
1x Airrazor
1x TRA GEN WFC K DELUXE PIPES
1x TRA GEN WFC K DELUXE SLAMMER
Wish I had waited for the Sideswipe and Skywarp 2 pack as it is now only $44 CAD ($34 USD). Many items are on sale today on Amazon. here is a link to all of them but I also picked out the ones which would be of most interest to collectors. https://www.amazon.ca/s?tag=seibertron0b-20&k=transformers& ... ls_match_1
The main question whenever a new product is shown is "how can I buy it?". Well, this post is it. We will show you where you can preorder all the toys Hasbro has revealed recently. Below you will find links to Amazon, Pulse, TFSource, BBTS and Entertainment Earth for Studio Series Bumblebee movie Soundwave, Ratchet, Brawn, Wheeljack and even ROTF Sideswipe at some places for those who didn't find him in stores yet. We also have new images of these toys from Takara and In Demand toys. The later shows us packaging shots. We also have a shot of Studio Series 86 Hot Rod being rereleased in the new packaging as Bumblebee Soundwave's wavemate in Janurary.
SS Soundwave, Ratchet, Brawn and Wheeljack on Pulse for pre-order expected April 1, 2022.
We'll keep this short so you can go about your business asap. The long awaited release of Kingdom deluxe Red Alert is now at hand. He is available and shipping now from Walgreens.com for 22.99. He won't be sold anywhere else in the US, at least not at this price. This items has been available throughout the world much earlier than this, but it's taken till now for a US release. This is the longest it's taken for a Walgreens exclusive.
Hasbro really made it their mission to minimize empty shelves this holiday season. They kept talking ad nauseum about doing whatever they could as countermeasures to whatever supply chain issue may arise. Retailers did the same on their end, and it seems it has worked out for Target in the end. At the start of the holiday shopping season, fans posted images of Target end caps filled to the brim. And they include Slag and Galvatron, toys most fans want to add to their collection and great gifts for any Transformers fan. This is a huge contrast to earlier in the year with people posting images of empty shelves.
These photos come from our own Nemesis Primal and TFfankev77. How are your local shelves? Are you seeing lots of stock too? If so, share a pic!
Thanks to a post on Weibo, we have out first look at some upcoming toys to come to the Transformers RED line. These are Prime Knockout and Ultra Magnus. Ultra Magnus is a white redeco of Optimus Prime, so an homage to the G1 toy's inner bot. Knockout is a fully new mold. The RED line is still exclusive to Walmart in 2022. Let us know what you think and if you will be picking these up. It seems that while many fans are not enthused by this line, it does sell well enough to keep going and to not remain on shelves too long.
