JTPRime17 found some new collaborative project listings. These are the crossovers the Transformers team does like with the films Frankenstein and Top Gun. We got three listings:
TRA GEN COLLAB PROJECT KNIGHT
Product Number: F9653
TRA GEN COLLAB PROJECT RENNAISSANCE
Product Number: F9656
TRA GEN COLLAB PROJECT TAILS
Product Number: G0050
Unlike with codenames in movie lines, the code names for collaborative projects are hints at the projects themselves. KNIGHT could be hinting at K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, which Hasbro already previously tried doing while Renaissance points towards Ninja Turtles (which have a history of transforming products in their own toylines). Tails doesn't have as direct a hint, it could be anything from Tailspin to Sonic. As we have seen in the past, these collaborative projects could be anything and licenses are acquired purely for the project so another company having toy rights doesn't disqualify a project from happening necessarily. Nothing is confirmed beyond the code names and the fact that these toys are in the works, everything beyond that is speculation on our behalf.
Let us know what you think these may be.

While we want to give you as much info as possible, it is always important to note that, as we have seen with many toys now, anything can happen until Hasbro officially reveals an upcoming product. And that includes cancellation. We had previously published lists of upcoming toys based on listings provided by JTPrime17. This Seibertron member has access to case assortment solicitation from Hasbro to retailers which is how they let us know of new listings.
However, some listings are now no longer present on these solicitations from Hasbro. Those include
SS Drift from TLK, SS Lifeline from the upcoming video game, Legacy core BW Dinobot and Legacy Sureshot.
Now these being removed from solicitations does not mean that are definitely cancelled (and it could also just be a mistake). As we saw with Buzzworthy Hound, while that release was cancelled, the toy will still be released in another way. However, there are previous listings that were no longer available and did not come out in their listed lines like T30 Brawn, T30 Sharkticon, Titan Master Optimus Prime, Titan Master Toraizer and SS Breakaway.
Here is the quote from JTPrime17:
Interesting note, updated case assortment Solicitations from hasbro to retailers have some changes. The changes actually remove some figures from the line up. Not sure if this is a mistake or if these figures were delayed or cancelled.
But these are the following figures that have seemingly disappeared.
F8762 Tra Gen studio series dlx TF5 Drift
F8761 Tra Gen Studio series dlx RISE Lifeline
F8519 Tra Gen Legacy UNI Core BW Dinobot
F8531 Tra Gen Legacy UNI Dlx G1 Sureshot

Ever since the Bumblebee movie, Hasbro decided to have the main movie toylines target children, which remains their primary audience in general for the Transformers brand. It did mean that the toyline was gimmick heavy. That theme transferred over to the two animated toylines since and the Rise of the Beasts toyline (though there were deluxes and voyagers scattered there at times). With Transformers One being an animated film for kids, it should come as no surprise that Hasbro is continuing this 5 year trend. We now know some of the toy classes coming out for the Transformers One toyline.
Those include:
Prime Changers, Mega Changers, 2 in 1 Masks (making a return from ROTB), Cybertron Launchers, Power Flip, Race Changers, Race and Blast, Racing Bot Shots (intriguing), COG 1 Step, Battling Figures, Power Glow, Energon Reveal and others.
The full list of listings we have at the moment can be found below and all are coded. Also please note:
in movie toylines, the codes are not hints, they mean nothing. They are deliberately random to keep discretion within the movie project. The listings came from JTPRime17.

Thanks to Sowndwave76 and jtprime17, we have our first look at the upcoming Deluxe Class Gears. This highly anticipated rendition of the resident Autobot pessimist is looking every inch to be cartoon faithful, while still adhering to the Deluxe class size of most recent minibots. For his first mainline figure since 2014, and only third in the last forty years, Gears looks to be a great addition to the line. Check out the pictures below, and let us know if you'll be adding him to your collection when he's officially released.

We're still many months away from the premiere of the 8th modern Transformers movie "One" currently aiming for a September 13 release, and we already have our first actual public online store listing (as opposed to one found by employees in store computers). Thanks Seibertronian -Kanrabat- for bringing to our attention in the Seibertron Energon Pub Forums a mystery pre-order on
Amazon Canada for a figure code named "Tra Mv8 Prime Changers - Admiral". That doesn't really offer much of a clue as to what these figures are as we had a few "changers" in the Rise of the Beasts movie toy line. Also keep in mind this price is in Canadian dollars. Pretty good chance "Admiral" is a stand in for Optimus Prime, but there isn't always much logic to these code names. The release date is listed as August 1, 2024, but as with most release dates these days it is also likely a placeholder, but could also be a street date. Hopefully we'll be seeing many more listings soon!

There's been a lot of grief over Earth Mode Hound appearing in a multipack rather than an individual release but it turns out that he was originally cancelled. Similarly to when Walmart chose to back out on wanting toy deco voysger Hot Rod in their Velocitron line, Target backed out on wanting more individual deluxes in their Buzzworthy line.
So yes, the reason why you initially saw renders but then heard no news is because Hatchet and Hound were
canceled. And since Hasbro already had all their other lines planned out, there was no place to release these toys. However, Hasbro has since found a way to bring us Hound (or at least this is what is assumed) in the upcoming Autobot multipack. So while Hatchet is still cancelled, the toy may resurface through another release.
Looking at this, while the multipack release may be annoying, this is a second resort and it's basically either that or no release. Also, the original Buzzworthy release would have of course been exclusive while this Gen Selects multipack is not said to be so yet (most Gen Selects releases have not been exclusive and can easily be bought from online retsilers). So you tell us which is your preferred option in light of these cancelled plans.
If you are curious as to why Target backed out, JTprime17 states that it's due to poor sales of the previous deluxes in the Buzzworthy line,
which they later clarify to be the Cliffjumper/Kup/Bee wave which are currently being found at Ollie's and other liquidators. So if any fans were looking for proof as to the downside of hoping for clearance and liquidation finds, well the cancelation of these individual releases is a clear consequence.
JTprime17 wrote:Target backed out due to poor sales of the first deluxe wave [Cliffjumper/Kup/Bee wave]. It is what it is.

Below are images from Mark Maher's Instagram post where he gives us a neat write up on all things Magmatron. Enjoy!
Behold… the Predacon Emperor of Destruction, Legacy United Commander class Magmatron is ready to shred through your puny collection. Bare witness to the rath that 3 of the largest species of dino’s, the Giganotosaurus, the Quetzalcoatlus, and the Elasmosaurus can do to your Maximal and Autobot armies!
.
Still can’t really believe I was able to bring this incredible bad guy to life with the amazing Shu san over at Takara Tomy. His dedication and keen design sense just put this guy over the top!
There’s so much to talk about, where do I even begin, the sculpted details, the colors, the insane articulation, the size, the transformation sequence, the blast effects, the magmablade, the magmasaurus mode. When I first saw this OG toy so many years ago, I was blown away, there was so many things I love about Transformers packed into this guy. Then once I actually watched the Beast Wars Neo dubbed series and saw the action sequence of the combining dino’s I damn near pooped my pants!
Some deets Dnavi said to mention, the shouldered blurple landsaurus head can move forward in robot mode, the lower jaws of all the dino’s have painted mouths, the blast effects fit into the port of the magmablade but you can also position it as a blaster, due to transformation the waist actually hinges and can act as almost an ab crunch articulation, the seasaurus can plug into a 5mm port to stay stationary or can unplug and become mobile, the skysaurus does have his 2 removable terrorswords, wooooooooo (allow me to Ric Flair strut around the room)
This year is going to have some real doozies I think all of yall will love! The long nights, the relentless work, the extra, the weathering of the storm, its all worth it for everyone to get the TF toys we all want and deserve! more soon!

Hasbro has lots of toys being simultaneously designed and release plans are never set in stone unless revealed officially. This is why even though we got leaked renders for a Earth mode Hound figure a while back, it's release could not be certain until Hasbro officially revealed it (or it was found in stores). While we still don't have an official reveal, we do have a new listing featuring Hound. It comes to us from JTprime17 and you can see it below with its product code.
The listing is for an autobot Multipack made to coincide with the 40th anniversary of G1 featuring Hound, Jazz, Wheeljack, Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker.
TRA GEN SELECTS AUTOBOT MULTIPACK; DlX Hound, Jazz, Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker
Product code: G0206
