The latest addition to the Seibertron.com toy photogalleries sees the recent Transformers Collectors' Club membership incentive for 2015 - the big bad who used to be good, Nova Prime! This is a retool and redeco of the
Generations Deluxe Orion Pax figure, the figure sports white, black, gold and teal, an alberd, a gun, and will probably attempt to establish a Primacy or Dead Universe colony in your collection once displayed.
Check out the full gallery by clicking on any of the images below, which include comparisons with the rest of the Ark 1 crew from the IDWverse, and let us know what you think of this new version of the mold, before the arrival of the next one with Lio Convoy!

Received by many Seibertronians, we report an email from BotCon HQ concerning the sold out hotel bookings for the event, and some updates on the registration section of the
site, which will go live next week. Read on below to find our what applies to you, and head
here next week to register!
Hello Everyone!
We continue to work on the final issues to get registration online. This will not happen this week. I will update you next week. Now you don't have to worry about checking the site this week.
The hotel has told us that they are sold out and cannot add anymore rooms to our block. You will have to look for accommodations elsewhere if you don't have a room yet. We also cannot find a hotel in close proximity to the event to get a second block.
The good news is that the parking is free at the hotel for BotCon.
See you in St. Charles!
Brian

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronians philswitch engage and cdavid3, along with the official
announcement from the Botcon Twitter account, we now have word that one of this year's Transformers Collectors' Club Exclusive Figures, Nova Prime, is available for purchase.
Transformers Collectors' Club Members may order Nova Prime from the
Transformers Club Store by following this link. This figure will set you back $59 plus shipping. Nova Prime is a recolored version of
Generations Orion Pax, and features a new head sculpt that is also found on this year's Collectors' Club Membership Incentive figure Lio Convoy.
The order page also lists this bio and information for Nova Prime:
AUTOBOT® HIGH COMMANDER
“‘Till all are redeemed"
NOVA PRIME walks a fine line between being the leader his heritage demands and battling inner demons that threaten to tear his synaptic conscious to a psychotic breaking point. While his ‘accolades’ will be remembered in the Halls of Iacon for eons, he is looking for redemption for what he sees as a ‘lapse in vision’ for his fellow Cybertronians. Combining his Quantum Fusion cannon and his “G-Metal” Battle Axe, NOVA PRIME is a formidable warrior on the battlefield and a masterful tactician in the war room. NOVA PRIME has been given a second chance and seeks to usher in a new Golden Age of Cybertron®. Will a new lasting peace on Cybertron finally come to fruition or will the whispers of the past come back to haunt NOVA PRIME, taking away any chance at redemption and plunging Cybertron once again into…Chaos?
Nova Prime is a Deluxe sized figure which features an ALL-NEW head sculpt. Look for Nova Prime later this year in the 2015 TCC Magazine Club comic. The toy is packed in a convention style box with a foam insert for easy removal and display. There is also an additional cut out for you to store the Lio ConvoyTM figure.*
*Lio Convoy sold separately
If you aren't a member of the Transformers Collectors' Club and would like to sign up so you can order the figure, check out the club's
website.
Additionally, it looks as if the free incentive figure
Lio Convoy and the first part of
Figure Subscription Service 3.0 will be mailing out soon. An email sent out to club members had the following to say about it:
Hello Club Members,
If you are participating in the FSS 3.0 service, please verify your address at the
FSS site by logging in making sure your address is correct by the end of day Thursday, May 7. We will be working shipping these out to you and the end of next week.
If your address has changed since March 16th, please email your correct address to
admin@funpubinc.com as well. Please note that the systems are totally separate so if you have moved, you will need to update both the FSS and send an email to admin for your club free figure.
Thanks for your support!
Jumping on board with all this club goodness, or sitting on the sidelines? Talk about it with your fellow Seibertronians by clicking "Reply" at the top of this news story.

The
Transformers Collectors' Club sent out an email updating members on Botcon 2015 registration and Hotel availability. They are working on final issues before registration can go live which will not happen before next Thursday.
You can also check out the
BotCon 2015 brochure while waiting for registration or check out our exclusive galleries for Cybertron's Most Wanted featuring
Packrat,
Battletrap, and
Megatron with
Scalpel,
Boombox and
Heavyweight. They are in the box set alongside
Shattered Glass Stepper and
Double Pretender Oilmaster.
BotCon.com wrote:Hello Everyone!
We are still working on the final issues to get registration online. This will not happen before next Thursday. I will update you as we get the final issues completed.
The hotel is working on finding some more rooms for our block. I have not heard back from them yet. Currently they are searching for duplicate rooms so if you have a room you are not going to use, please release it so someone else can reserve it. Remember that you must put down a first nights deposit and if you don't cancel by the cut off you will lose the deposit.
If they don't find more rooms for us, we will get a block at a second hotel so, no worries. I'll let you know as soon as they figure out what they can do.
See you in St. Charles!

With BotCon 2015 fast approaching, we received news that big names of the fandom will be selling off their collection at this year's convention: said big names are Jon and Karl Hartman, the original founders of BotCon! This is what they had to say about their venture:
Hi folks. Some of you might remember that Jon and myself sold a good part of our old collection at BotCon in 2006. We will be bringing the rest of it to sell this year at BotCon, in St. Charles. Mostly 1998-2006 toys. Priced to move. I'll try to update this with a broad list of eras from which we will be bringing toys to sell.
Looking forward to one more (last?) go round!
Karl
As previously mentioned, this is round two of selling their collection, round one being in BotCon 2006. Expect there to be lots of goodies, ranging from general releases to coveted rarities!
