Just yesterday we
reported that iGear opened up pre-orders for a KO Masterpiece Optimus Prime trailer. Some of you might remember that back in 2009 when iGear was announcing a new project almost every week, projects which still haven't come out, that one of those was a trailer for MP Optimus Prime called
TF04.
Original MP trailer on the left, TF04 on the right.
This trailer that was supposed to be function wise based on THS 02 Optimus Prime's trailer and larger than the actual MP trailer has now been cancelled, the reason given was "time and cost", well KOing something is cheaper after all.
You can click
here to see iGear's original announcement on their facebook page.
Also we cross our fingers that those of you who've already paid their TF04 pre-order get their money back.

Thanks to our dear friend Mkall we have a pretty interesting and at the same time horrible bit of information to share. This information is that of the identity of I-Gear's upcoming PP-04. According to
this post over at tfw2005 the upcoming figure will be and Ultra Magnus trailer for their downsized MP-02 KO. Sure this might be great news to some, but please read the post, we've quoted it for you:
Lord Starscream wrote:I know what it is pp04 is Magnus armor I sent them my marksprojects perfectedtion trailer back in October of 2010 what modifactions and changed I'm not sure, pp05 is the work in progress predaking it is mp style, they said they will drop a bomb and they mean it. Marks trailer is the best that I seen that's why I paid $1200 price tag for the only problem for me is that it's too big and doesnt fit in scale with my classics and their ultra leader does.
Marksproject is a seibertron.com member, you might know him under the name of
TF anemis on our boards.
So? Maybe i-Gear asked him for permission first? You might ask, but TF anemis had
this to say:
TF anemis wrote:so you sent them the trailer that i,ve built for you so they could copy my work and make replicas ?
This isn't the first time i-Gear has stolen a kitbasher's work, the anime head and hands they used for Faith Leader and the MP Conehead designs are all copies of kitbashes. But then again i-Gear mostly does Bootlegs now so it comes as no surprise.
For reference's sake you can click
here to see the Ultra Magnus armour TF anemis made.

Various sources from Hong Kong and China stated that the Knock Off version of
Transformers Animated Arcee is expecting to be released soon.
This KO version is release under the brand of "CHMS", where they also produced the KO Starscream and various seekers.
So collectors and future buyers need to beware of this figure.

I-Gear have updated their Facebook page again, they added 5 new images to their "
New WIP small stuff" album. These updates show the robot-mode of their new Bumblebee figure
we reported on earlier, which is a a "re-shell" of
Universe 2.0 Legends Class Bumblebee with VW Käfer car parts.
We have mirrored one image, if you wish to see the rest just click
here.
And as a Comparison, the original Universe 2.0 Legends Class Bumblebee:
