Thanks to alerts from
Scottimus Prime and Seibertronian
LongHaulLaser, we have news that the Titan beast himself, Predaking, is now available on
Hasbro Toy Shop!. When we received the alert from Scottimus, it was merely a listing, but it was thanks to the alert from LongHaulLaser that we now know he is in stock. He is currently priced at $159.99, and strangely enough, he is being treated as an exclusive: he is not eligible for any other deals other than the free shipping, and he is limited to 1 per household. This is something new we have not seen with any other Titan figures before that were standard releases.
Now that this guy is available to buy, will you pick him up? Is $160 a bit too much, or can't you wait to get this guy in your hands? Let us know in the comments section below!

Amazon has posted some t-shirts based off the special edition deluxe figures that are on the way. We have Combiner Wars Blast Off, Titans Return Repugnus, and Power of the Primes Punch/Counter-Punch. As said, the shirts represent the special edition deluxe figures that are on their way and are of course officially licensed. Be sure to check out the previews below and if interested click on the image and head over to Amazon to make your purchase!
What other Transformers shirts do you want to see modeled off of the last three lines? A Titans Return Trypticon shirt? How about a Combiner Wars Devastator? I know I would totally go for a Combiner Wars Megatron (G1 Deco) shirt myself.

There are even bigger sales incoming for the closure of the Australian branches of now closed down storechain Toys'R'Us, as the 20-40% reductions we previously
reported on has gone up to 30-50% store wide (note: only available in physical stores, cannot be redeemed online)!
This also means that those recent
sightings of wave 3 and wave 2 resurfacing for Power of the Primes may come in handy after all, if you can make it to a store this month. If you do so, make sure to share with other local fans your finds, and happy hunting!

Thanks to a heads up from Amazon.com, we have word that the Transformers: Power of the Primes Predaking is beginning to ship out! The shipping confirmation, sent to our very own
Seibertron himself, shows that Predaking will be shipping out either Thursday or Friday, with 2-day delivery options showing him arriving on Monday! While the
listing on Amazon is currently a bit high and still showing an arrival date of August 10-27, we can assure you that some figures are beginning to ship out here.
Unfortunately, we do not have news at this time if site sponsors or, as
previously reported, Target, will be getting their stock soon. But with Amazon now getting their stock in, it should not be long before he is widely available from all media outlets!
Are you ready for Predaking? Are you gonna get yourself a Predaking, or is this a Titan figure you plan to pass on? Do you have a pre-order in? Let us know what you think of the figure and of the very soon to be in-hand product below!

Thanks to Podcast legend
ScottyP, we have news that Takara is running yet another campaign centered around a collectible version of a live action Transformer's weapon. The new contest, as was posted on
Dengeki Hobby, gives you the opportunity to win 3 different versions of the sword that came with the Age of Extinction First Edition Optimus Prime figure. This contest appears to be a cross-promotion between Transformers,
Tomica Hyper Rescue Drive Head Anime (a series about kid who drive cars and rescue people from Japan, kind of like a Gundam/Rescue Bots crossover), and
Shinkalion (humans pilot transforming bullet trains to protect Japan), 3 of Takara's current transforming robot lines.
The campaign offers 3 different colors of the sword, the first being a blue "Water Force Splash Sword", the second being a red "Flame Power Burning Justice" sword, and the third green one being a "Wind Force Blast Sword." The swords are prizes for those who spend 3000 yen beginning August 4th.
Check out these interesting new swords that cross-promote 3 very interesting toylines, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

It's said that every cloud has a silver lining, but on this particular occasion it seems there are multiple silver linings to celebrate! Toys R Us Australia, as part of its own drawn-out death throes, seems to have yielded a few items of interest over the last few days.
The first and most widely-applicable is yet another increase to Toys R Us' closing-down sales. The chain now boasts "20-40% off" store-wide, and while there's no certain word on what the discount is for action figures (and thus Transformers), the pattern so far suggests that they will be riding the bare minimum of 20% off. Even so, this is a decent discount, made even more appealing given the other items of news we have to share on this topic.
Indeed, it seems that Toys R Us Australia, in the process of pushing out their stock to be liquidated, has yielded two final figures for the Australian collecting market to enjoy. As Ozformers users
Caminus Prime and
Handsprime shared, it seems that Masterpiece Movie Barricade
and Studio Series Thundercracker are both appearing at Toys R Us stores around the country! It's not yet clear if they will be making their way to all Toys R Us locations or just those near warehouses, but for any Australians who are interested in these two previously-unsighted-down-under figures, it might be a good idea to at least check a nearby store. It's also confirmed that the universal Transformers/Action Figure discount applies to these two as well.
So, Seibertronians, does this sudden slew of relatively good news raise your spirits on the whole Toys R Us Australia subject? Share your thoughts and feelings on the
Energon Pub Forums, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for ever more Transformers news delivered straight to your screen!

Good news, Seibertronians! For a given measure of "good", at least. It seems Toys R Us Australia is indeed following suit in its
closing-down sale, and periodically increasing the discounts available much like its American counterpart.
The most recent update proclaims "Up To 40%" off items storewide, which for Transformers collectors translates to a 15% discount on action figures (up from the previous 10%). This brings all Transformers prices down to a competitive amount compared to other Australian stores, though for Deluxe and Leader figures the
currently-running Big W sale is still a better deal for now.
There's still no indication whether or not the sale amount will keep increasing over the coming weeks, but rest assured we at Seibertron.com will update you if and when that does occur! In the meantime, share your thoughts (or any tips for fellow collectors) in the
Energon Pub Forums, and stay tuned for any other Transformers news!

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian
Hellscream9999, we have word that Titan Class Predaking, the Titan figure for Power of the Primes, is going to be offered at Target. This news is big, seeing as how Toys R Us is going, going, going, or gone for everyone except Canada, and they were one of the lone brick and mortar stores to offer the Titan Class figures. Predaking was found in the Target DCPI index, and can be found using the code
087 16 4185. The figure is shown in the Target database to be $159.99, the same price found on pretty much every pre-order for the mighty beast combiner.
So what do you think of this news? Is it a good sign that Predaking will be coming to Target? Let us know in the comments section below!

So this is how it ends... not with a bang, but with a small discount. Toys R Us Australia, which you may remember
announced its definite closure earlier this week, has begun promoting their 'Closing Down Sale', with discounts "up to 30%" storewide (in stores only, considering the online ordering system is already shut down at this point).
What does this mean for Transformers collectors? Well, yours truly checked a nearby store and it appears that action figures (including Transformers) are marked down by 10%. Keep in mind that this appears to be a fixed discount, not an escalating sale like
US shoppers experienced; according to all available information, this is simply a flat 10% off Transformers toys presumably until all stock has been cleared out or the company closes.
If anything changes we'll be sure to let you know, but as it stands now this seems to be Toys R Us Australia's last hurrah. Despite the gloomy subject, however, we still want to hear what you have to say: does this sale entice you in any way? Let us know by posting in the Energon Pub Forums, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more optimistic news in the future!

After Hasbro
responded to complaints about the very limited-to-non-existent distribution of Wave 2 of Power of the Primes, they stated that the figures of that wave would be available online and in stores later this summer. Well, thanks to a tip from DeathsReviews and Hellscream9999, Seibertronians, that time is now! Hasbro Toy Shop has almost all of Wave 2 listed (missing only Submarauder and Landmine), though only Rodimus Unicronus is available. Additionally, the Wave 3 legends, Outback and Cindersaur, are also available!
Click the pictures to be taken to that figure's order page, and cross your transistors that the Deluxe Wave 2 figures will be available soon!
