As we reported yesterday,
TF08.net had posted an image of what might be a new toy for the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen toy line.
These new images show us a mistransformed robot-mode and a clearer look at the truck-mode. It looks to be scout and an possibly an Autobot.
Happy guessing on who or what it might be.
Stay tuned to Seibertron.com fr all your Transformers related news.

Seibertron.com has just received word from
Core Gear rep, Susan Wile, that the Xip3 Transforming Jacket is now on sale. Seibertronians may remember
way back when the
Transformers Club held an exclusive contest for the triple changing outerwear.
Here's what Susan had to share about this unique garment:
Hello,
My company is currently running a massive sale on our award winning, convertible TRANSFORMERS jackets (the jacket turns into a backpack and also into a pillow). Each jacket is individually numbered in a limited edition. Steven Spielberg owns #1 and Michael Bay owns #2. These jackets originally retailed for $495 and are now $95.
Please go to our website http://www.xip3.com and click the link to the store. These jackets are collector's items of very high quality and would never be sold at a Target or a WalMart.
So there you have it Seibertronians. Even your clothing can transform now. View the listing for this jacket
here.

Design writer Christopher Wilson has just sent us information on a unique piece of art that's now available. This new work is a tribute to one of the original Transformers seekers, Skywarp.
Hommage à Skywarp is a new poster-broadsheet designed and published by Oberphones in tribute to Skywarp, one of the first Transformers issued by Hasbro in 1984. The homage takes the form of an A4-format broadsheet which folds out into an A2-format (420 x 594 mm) poster. The broadsheet (plane form) side includes a series of four specially-written texts by design writer Christopher Wilson, exploring the cultural background of his purchase of Skywarp in early 1985 and the state of department store culture at the time; Skywarp's standing among his rivals in the Transformers range; and finally an anecdote of Skywarp's 'tech spec' characteristics. The poster (robot form) side comprises a graphic portrait of the Decepticon, based on the silhouette of the 1984 box illustration, and incorporating new photographs of the original model.
Hommage à Skywarp is now available for purchase at a low cost of £10.00 with free postage and handling for shipping within the UK. Check out the original listing for this art piece
here.

A member of
TF.sg a Transformers fan site from Singapore has posted something very very interesting.
Apparently there's going to be an upgrade set for Master Piece 04 Optimus Prime and Master Piece 02 Ultra Magnus in the form of a Master Piece Roller and A Ultra Magnus Blaster.
This set is most likely fan made.
I have pictures from my friend Dave who has just opened up the following for preorders, Commander package for Masterpiece MP-02 and MP-04.
The package consists of Complete Roller set for MP-04 and Gun for Ultra Magnus of MP-02.

Thanks to my good friend and Seiberton.com member Zeds for pointing out to all the "Hardcore" Transformers Collectors out there that a new announcement has brought to the light of day that may either anger or delight collectors.
This news is in regards to what now qualifies for AFA grading. Here is what Zeds has to report:
AFA would like to announce our new 'AFA Qualified' grading scale for which we are now accepting submissions. Items including, but not limited to, opened box vehicles, playsets, and Transformers as well as certain hand-made pre-production items will now be eligible for grading under the new 'AFA Qualified' grading scale. Each 'AFA Qualified' item will be cased with a blue (rather than red) label and will be accompanied by a document with detailed information about the item and contents. In order to be eligible for 'AFA Qualified' grading, a boxed toy must contain new, complete, and unused contents and must not have a sealed blister which has been opened. (For example, a Transformers Megatron with cut tape would be eligible, but a Transformers Grimlock with an opened blister would not be. A Star Wars Landspeeder with cut tape would be eligible, but a Star Wars Sy Snootles Band with an opened blister would not be.) More details about this scale will be available on our website later this month, but feel free to contact us in the meantime with any questions. For a limited time, the AFA Qualified scale will be priced identically to our Sealed scale. Please reference our custom-size tier pricing to calculate grading fees.
This is in my opinion a reaction to the grading by the CSG grading company that have graded similar figures with cut tape from the start.
So what do you think? Own any AFA graded figures? Did you bend over backwards to find a figure that wasn't cut open?
Let the opinions fly in the thread already in progress by clicking discuss above!
