The free mobile app, which can be found here, incorporates content from the latest film and lets users play as BUMBLEBEE and turns your room into a set from the film.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (November 21, 2017) — Paramount Home Media Distribution today unveiled a free augmented reality experience for iOS app users, coinciding with the release of Transformers: The Last Knight on 4K Ultra HD. Created by Viacom’s VR team Viacom NEXT using Apple ARKit technology, the app incorporates content from the latest film in the blockbuster series, Transformers: The Last Knight.
The app overlays 3D graphics onto a user’s surrounding physical space, designed as the virtual junkyard of protagonist Cade Yeager as seen in Transformers: The Last Knight. Players control the actions of BUMBLEBEE, directing his movement while hitting, blowing up and interacting with various objects, which can be added to expand the interactive environment.
“This augmented reality experience gives fans the chance to interact with the Transformers universe in a new and exciting way,” said Howard Hsieh, Vice President, Worldwide Digital Business Development, Paramount Home Media Distribution. “The Transformers films appeal to a vast and diverse audience and we’re excited to give fans the opportunity to get in the driver’s seat and take BUMBLEBEE for a ride.”
“With ARKit, we can seamlessly bridge virtual and physical worlds to create immersive experiences that bring storytelling to life,” said Chaki Ng, Senior Vice President of Viacom NEXT. “We’re thrilled to help break this new ground at Paramount.”
The experience is free to download from the App Store until February 20, 2018. Users can also order Transformers: The Last Knight on 4K HDR through the app. The Transformers 5-movie Collection will also be available on 4K HDR for purchase exclusively on iTunes beginning November 21, 2017.

It seems the time has come! With the arrival of November 14th, the first two episodes Machinima's Transformers Titans Return series have been released!
Following the previous Machinima-produced Go90 series, Combiner Wars, Titans Return picks up roughly where the Combined Wars series ended. It includes reoccurring characters like Optimus Prime (This time around voiced by Peter Cullen), Megatron, Windblade, and Hot Rod (This time voiced by Judd Nelson, returning to his classic role.)
To catch up on what details you've missed on this series, check out the recent piece by Seibertronian news crew member Qwan, who does a great job running through all the announcements and specifics we've gotten since the announcement of the series.
You can then find the first two episodes over on Go90's website, or through their app if you prefer mobile, and share your thoughts in the forum boards below.

Fellow robot-lovers, the day has nearly come. Tomorrow, on the go90 video streaming platform (in the US at least), Machinima's Titans Return animated series - the follow-up to last year's Combiner Wars - will make its debut for all to see. If you're just now hearing about this series, or have forgotten some of the details, here's a brief timeline of the major news leading from its announcement nearly a year ago, all the way up the the show's debut:
- Jul 18, 2017: New cast for the Titans Return series is announced, featuring Peter Cullen, Judd Nelson, Wil Wheaton, and more (including internet personalities like MatPat and returning cast members such as Jason Marnocha and Abby Trott);
- Sep 10, 2017: Machinima announces that the series will have 11 episodes, and will feature both Trypticon and Overlord (betcha forgot about that tidbit, didn't you?);
- Oct 18, 2017: Behind-the-scenes video listing many of the major roles, and showing our first preview of the show in motion (much the same as its predecessor);
...Which brings us fully up-to-date, with less than 24 hours to go until the premiere of this definitely-anticipated series! Most importantly, where are the rest of the Cybertronian civilians? We might not see too many lay Cybertronians, but at least we get to meet the cast.

Let's take a Listener Question. Seibertron board member westjames/notirish asks: "What are your thoughts on the RID 15 cartoon as a whole?" This prompts us to relate our individual experiences with Robots in Disguise, especially as compared to Transformers Prime and that golden grail of Transformers animation, Rescue Bots. Even with those big shoes to fill, RID represents an interesting corpus of fiction and has contributed a great deal to the Transformers mythos. For that, and more, we salute it.

Lost Light #10 is upon us, and it's a doozy. Spoilers abound, so beware - in the meantime, you can check out the official Seibertron.com review here. Transformers First Strike #1, on the other hand, is truly forgettable. Or is it? While we certainly don't reach the time-loop highs of cult classics like 12 Monkeys, TF First Strike provides crucial context that we can appreciate. As the bulk of First Strike - an event that mostly serves as a vehicle for Visionaries and Unicron - unfolds, this book gives us a chance to catch up with Arcee, Kup, and Blackrock... we just hope this goes somewhere.
IDW owns this mess.
A brief mention of the upcoming MP Dinobot's absurd preorder placeholder price (PPP to those in the know) gives way to that special time of the year: Transformersmas 2017. Bronzewolf walks a clueless ScottyP and Megatronus through this fun and engaging series of photo contests through the month of December. Fellow Seibertronian shajaki has pointed us towards a new official video from the Takara Tomy YouTube channel, featuring the latest addition to the Transformers Masterpiece line: MP-41 Dinobot! Covering pretty much all of the images we've seen in the previous post from Amazon Japan - which you can check out again here - we get to see clips from the Beast Wars cartoon that inspire the figure's transformations passages, poses, and accessories such as the spinning tail shield, the sword, the swappable faces and Gold Disk, plus the laser eyes, the figure stand and some comparison shots with previous Beast Wars Masterpiece figures MP-34 Cheetor and MP-32 Optimus Primal (Beast Convoy).
Additionally, via the Takara Tomy website, a feature on the figure lets us know that the raptor mode does indeed have changeable eyes, the robot mode's eyes can be lit up green or red, and we get a better look at the back of the figure and the 'ladder magic' (we need a new name..) that hides the beast mode panels in robot mode.
Check them all out below, as we also get further confirmation that yes, the figure will cost 28000 Yen (approx 250 USD) and is due for release in July 2018!
Via Machinima's official Facebook page, we have another promotional clip for their fast-approaching Titans Return animated series. This time the focus is less on the characters and action of the show itself, and more on the actors bringing these beloved characters to life in the series. Featuring brief comments from actors Abby Trott (Windblade), MatPat (Computron) Michael Dorn (Fortress Maximus), Judd Nelson (Rodimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (Megatron) and more, the unanimous sentiment seems to be that it was an incredible opportunity to portray a modern rendition of the characters they loved when they were younger.
Other specific comments of note include: Trott's joy at being able to play a fan-built character who shares the stage with franchise regulars like Optimus and Megatron; Nelson (who has been involved in Transformers since his portrayal of Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime in 1986's Transformers: The Movie) espousing the benefits of being a voice actor - namely, that he doesn't need to worry about his appearance when he comes in to record; and MatPat assuring younger Transformers fans that they, too, can be Computron when they grow up.
With the series set to debut on November 14, less than two days away, it seems odd that the only notable clip shown from the actual series is a shot of Rodimus (with a robot mode still heavily based on his Hasbro MP-09 toy, albeit with a mouthplate) transforming a vehicle mode much more reminiscent of his Titans Return toy. Do you think there's a reason that Machinima has chosen to focus more on the talent behind their characters, as the release date charges toward us? Get to know the Transformers: Titans Return cast before the show launches on go90 11/14.
Thanks to a post from Seibertronian o. supreme and a Facebook update from Machinima, we have the new Titans Return trailer now online and available for your viewing pleasure!
The trailer is just under 2 minutes long, and shows some interesting concepts that are set to be explored in the upcoming series. The trailer includes Perceptor examining Starscream's remains, Trypticon activating, some Metroplex and Trypticon brawling action, Peter Cullen's Optimus Prime speaking, some Constructicons rebuilding following Combiner Wars, seeker cannon fodder, and the biggest reveal of all: Starscream apparently lives, and he is controlling Trypticon! Also of note is the long transformation sequence that leads to the series name, and the very city-like appearance of the series name during said sequence.
The series is set to debut November 14, one week from today, and will star Peter Cullen, Judd Nelson, Wil Wheaton, Michael Dorn, Jason David Frank, Nolan North, Matpat, DashieGames, Abby Trott, Lana McKissack, Rob Dyke, Tay Zonday, Jason Marnocha, and Kari Wahlgreen. From Machinima's official Facebook page, we have news of an upcoming trailer for the fast-approaching Transformers: Titans Return animated series! Following posters featuring the likes of Jason David Frank as Emissary and Nolan North as Metroplex, a behind-the-scenes video and even a preview clip dropped just a day ago, this new teaser promises a full-fledged trailer for the series in just two days' time!
The image simply depicts a stoic Optimus Prime, heavily based on his Generation 1 and Masterpiece design as in the prior Combiners Wars animated series, standing before the stormy wasteland that presents Machinima's vision of Cybertron. With the show set to drop just a week after the trailer itself, the teaser's message could not be more clear: if you're going to get hyped for this show, now is the time.
Machinima's Titans Return series is set to release soon, on the 14th of November. It stars voice talent ranging from series veterans Peter Cullen and Judd Nelson, to other well-known actors like Wil Wheaton, Michael Dorn and Jason David Frank, returning cast members Abby Trott and Jason Marnocha, and even YouTubers MatPat and DashieGames, along with many more. Via the official Facebook page for media creators Machinima, we have another preview of the upcoming animated series Transformers: Titans Return - the sequel to Combiner Wars featuring the voice talents of a wide array of actors, from regular Peter Cullen to newcomers Jason David Frank, Wil Wheaton, MatPat and more. In the clip, embedded below and titled Size Does Matter, Adam Beechen and FJ DeSanto take a look at the main cast and the two big features of the new series: Metroplex and Trypticon, how they fight, what they mean, and how much fun the team have had in this second chapter of the Prime Wars Trilogy. We knew that this was going to happen, but we now have the full reveal of the Beast Wars favourite for many joining Kabam's mobile game Transformers Forged to Fight: Dinobot! The character has been available as of Thursday November 2nd, and you can read the full tech specs below to decide whether or not the Predacon turned Maximal has received what he deserves. Waspinator – Dinobot is perfectly suited to fighting opponent’s that rely on Melee Attacks while Waspinator is adept at fighting from range.
Mirage – Mirage’s Power Burn can drain Power through an opponent’s Block, bypassing Dinobot’s punishing Block abilities.
Recommended Modules for Dinobot:
Strange Refractor – Granting Dinobot greater Block Proficiency and the ability to Stun when Blocking is a potent way to add to his already formidable abilities.
Nightbird’s Mark – This mod will drastically increase Dinobot’s Critical Rating, improving his Armor Piercing and Bleeding attacks.
