#Sideways# wrote:Seen HERE, we get to see the HUD and what the gameplay will actually look like! You can really see some of the elements of gameplay that one might expect from an MMO, such as a team roster, abilities, map, health, et cetera, yet there are some Shooter and what seems to be League of Legends influences in on this. It's very interesting, indeed.
With the release of our in engine trailer we know that anticipation for gameplay details is higher than ever. That’s why we’ve grabbed these early gameplay screenshots to give you an insight into what you can expect to see this summer.
These screenshots are from our early beta build of the game and may not reflect the final version of the game. They highlight your in game hud, the targeting system and showcase a few of the weapons and abilities you’ll be wielding in battle as you command your warriors. All of this is playable directly in your browser.
It’s difficult to convey the tactical action nature of Transformers Universe in just a few screens but we hope this gives you some idea of the fast paced battles that you’ll be charging into in just a few months’ time.
DeNA has announced the latest event for their Transformers Legends mobile device game, "When Sparks Fly". Check out the details and promo art below. The game can be downloaded by clicking here.
WHEN SPARKS FLY" A BEAST WARS EVENT IS NOW LIVE!
Racing to a volatile crash site in the wilderness, the Maximal Silverbolt is astonished to discover a pod marked only with an “X” at the crater’s epicenter. Still unsure of what the pod contains, the villainous Predacons attack Silverbolt, trying to steel the pod! Leading the charge, Predacons Blackarachnia, Waspinator and Terrorsaur overpower the noble Maximal, but Silverbolt will go down fighting!
Terrorsaur accidentally breaks the pod open during the battle and its contents are let loose—the abomination called Rampage, a mish-mash of scientific monstrosity created to destroy and devour its enemies—and Rampage thinks EVERYONE is his enemy!
The bombastic battle knocks Silverbolt and Blackarachnia into a swamp where they are forced to rely on each other to survive. At first, bitter enemies, Silverbolt’s chivalrous attitude slowly wins over Blackarachnia’s acidic personality. The two survive and rejoin the melee, only to discover that while on opposite sides of the battle line, the two have more in common than either would have dared believe.
The skirmish with Rampage is joined by Depthcharge, a fierce Maximal who recognized the crashed pod for what it was, the prison holding Rampage! Blaming Rampage for the slaughter of dozens of his friends, Depthcharge is out for revenge!

Mark Blecher, SVP Digital Gaming and Corporate Development at Hasbro, Inc. said:
Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is an arc between the Cybertron and Earth based worlds of this popular franchise. This year marks 30 incredible years of TRANSFORMERS. This game tells another chapter in the TRANSFORMERS story that all fans will love.
As a follow-up to both Age of Extinction and games War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, Rise of the Dark Spark tells the tale of the search for an ancient, powerful relic—the Dark Spark. Players can switch between factions throughout the single-player campaign. Gameplay will include fast-paced running and shooting combat, along with vehicle action and large, dynamic conflicts.
Players will also be able to access multiplayer mode, Escalation, which allows for wave-based, survival-style gameplay for up to four online players cooperatively. Rise of the Dark Spark will feature new, upgradeable defense systems, recognizable opponents, and an expanded roster of characters, past and present. A new level system unifies single- and multi-player into one consistent character development path. Any experience earned in any part of the game will unlock awards and tactical loadout choices, like new characters, stronger weapons, special abilities, and consumable bonuses, which will be available through the entire game.
Rise of the Dark Spark is currently rated “RP” which is Rating Pending by the ESRB. Watch for the latest information.

During the craze of Toy Fair 2014, we hope you gamers out there got a kick out of the next game featuring our favorite transforming robots, Rise of the Dark Spark. In any case, the company developing the title, surprisingly, is not High Moon Studios. No, instead the game will be developed, Examiner.com reports, by Edge of Reality.
High Moon Studios, who developed Transformers: War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, is not developing Rise of the Dark Spark. Edge of Reality, who previously worked on the Mass Effect Trilogy and Dragon Age: Origins, are developing Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark and the game will be available for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii U, and 3DS.
On a side note, for the 3DS version, the developer will be Way Forward, who is known for making Duck Tales: Remastered and other games.
Our friends at Activision dropped by with a couple of additional images from their just announced Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark video game. We took a moment to chat with Andrew Petrie and Rob Fleischer them about game at Hasbro Media Day. They describe the game as the universes of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and Transformers: Age of Extinction colliding. The game will feature both campaign and online modes including escalation. All items and bonuses unlocked or earned in one mode will carry over to the other. So any weapons or abilities you've acquired in campaign mode will follow into multi-player, and vice versa. We were able to view some in-game footage, which featured Transformers: Age of Extinction Grimlock stomping, chomping, and bashing his way through the environment and enemies alike. Unfortunately no video was allowed of the in-game footage. This game will be available on all major gaming platforms, with a special Nintendo DS version. We can expect a full announcement on Monday, but for now check out the in-game images below.
Among all the toy news coming out of the Toy Fair in New York, the Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark videogame was confirmed as a mashup of War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron elements and movieverse. Courtesy of IGN, we get a look at a trailer for the game too - check it out below!
