G4TV has posted an interview with High Moon Studio's Sean Miller, the game director for Transformers DOTM the video game. The game is described as a prologue that helps to set up characters and situations for the upcoming movie. Players will take the form of both Autobots and Decepticons in a single campaign story with levels built around certain characters. They also discuss the new "Stealth Force" system, which is basically a way to deploy various weapons without having to constantly switch between robot and vehicle modes. The interview can be viewed here, or watch it below!
Gamespot has uploaded an exclusive second Transformers DOTM video game trailer to their YouTube account. The trailer clocks in at a healthy 1 minute and 20 seconds, and gives us very clear view of a certain winged character everyone's been speculating about.
The Transformers DOTM video game is being developed by the same team who brought us Transformers: War for Cybertron, High Moon Studios. The game, which is said to be a prequel to the movie, is scheduled for release on June 14th, 2011.
As we saw early last year in the months leading up to it's release, the concept artists from High Moon Studios created some truly stunning concept artwork that helped to redefine the home planet and character design of the Autobots and Decepticons for the Transformers: War for Cybertron video game. In appreciation for their amazing work, the five primary artists for the game have been given a dedicated gallery show at the Gnomon Gallery in Hollywood, California. The show will not only spotlight their work from War for Cybertron, but will also feature some of their other personal work. The show opened on March 5th but no word yet from the gallery on how long their work will be on display-we expect that information soon though and will let you know.
To read more about this very cool show or get directions so you can see this work in person, check out the Gnomon Gallery website here.
