Toysdaily.com has posted images of new 2 packs soon to be released. Not many details are known about these, like where they will be release, if they are exclusive, or even how much they will cost.
What we do know is that one 2 pack will have Classics Jetfire and Classics Grimlock in it. The other will have Classics Optimus Prime with his repainted brethren, Classics Ultra Magnus.
In addition, both boxes come with flip up pictures, similar to Classics Soundwave.
We will keep you posted as soon as more details are released.

Pathé Movie Theaters recently updated their webweb in regards to
IMAX screenings. Where previously the
Transformers movie was noted as being expected, all
references to the movie being shown in the IMAX format has been deleted from the site. Can it be assumed that earlier reports of Transformers being shown in IMAX format in The Netherlands are now no longer true? No official statement has been given at this time.

With the recent scandals surrounding the Chinese toy companies using lead paint in their production, new testing to prevent such accidents from happening again has been introduced.
However, these new safeguards to protect us from such an error from happening again is going to come with a cost, and it is predicted that toy companies will be passing the buck onto the consumers.
Current estimates from analysts at
MSNBC.com predict the costs of Chinese made toys to go up by about 10% for the consumer, starting next year. Even still, there is the possibility that it could be even more than that.
We will keep you posted going into the next year on whether or not Hasbro intends to raise the price of Transformers or not as soon as possible.

Apparently all is not as it seemed with the rumoured Transformers and Terminator Crossover Comic.
Chris Ryall himself has posted on the
IDW Forums the following reply to the rumours:
if this ever came to pass, it wouldn't, either. But keep in mind this was mentioned at a rumor site. There's no deal in place, but people have been talking about this one from the start, simply because Simon Furman is writing both books. I think it'd be cool and feel organic to what we've been doing for that reason, but there's nothing signed or scheduled, it's just talk, the same way the JLA one was a year ago.
So for now it seems the rumour was just a rumour. The
Seibertron News team will keep you up to date if any developments occur.

According to dak at Cybertron.CA:
"As of today, "Toys r' Us USA" has made a deal with "Toys r' Us Canada" to become one corporation, known as "Toys r' Us North America". Will this result in Canada getting exclusives that you can now only find in the USA?"

Good news for all involved you would think! As of now this is our only source for the rumor, but when and if there is an official press release, we'll be sure to let you know
here in the Seibertron.com Toy News!!

Thanks to Seibertron's very own Professor Smooth, we have an update on the Chevrolet Universe Exclusive Swerve figure. It is not good news:
This figure will NOT be given away if you buy a Chevrolet Aveo. In fact, buying the car isn't even necessary to get the exclusive.
Its a China only Promo for the Chevrolet Lova (Aveo in the U.S.).
The idea was you go to the movie, after you go to a Chevrolet dealer with the movie ticket(s) and test drive the Lova. You get the robot for test driving the car.
There has been no mention of the Chevrolet Universe Swerve being released in any way, shape or form outside of China as yet, but Seibertron.com will keep you updated if this changes in the future.

A new auction has come to our attention, thanks to
Seibertron.com member Scaleface.
Apparently the newly released Nike "Shoe-formers" have already ended up at a Chinese knockoff factory and are being produced in some "interesting" colors.

I thought that those of you who are interested in the 'ROBOT REPLICA's would be interested to find out that the second wave has been found at US retail at Walmart.
According to the poster he saw Optimus Prime, Frenzy, Jazz, and possibly Ironhide.
There is no proof yet besides this person's sighting, but keep an eye peeled so you can give us your sightings when you see them.
See the original sighting
here
Post your sightings in the
Sightings Database, and tell your regional allies all about it in the
Sightings Forum.
