About Mars Planetary Defense Force

Not all Decepticons agreed with the transition from a revolutionary group seeking equality and the dissolution of the Caste system to an army of conquest. Those that did found themselves as conspirators seeking to overthrow Megatron before he could corrupt their cause; they failed. Some were captured and imprisoned. More escaped and fled Cybertron, seeking to rebuild their forces and establish a new home far from the devastation that was beginning to cut a swath across Cybertron. All silently promised that, when the day came, they would not fail again in liberating Cybertron; whether from the dictatorship of the many in the High Council or the one in the form of their former leader.

One such group of self-imposed exiles was led by Stormmaster, formerly Ground Commander of the Decepticon forces and before that a gladiator alongside Megatron. Guided on by some unknown, indescribable sense, they traveled for millions of years through the living stars, eventually settling on the fourth planet of an unknown solar system, unaware of what would one day reawaken on the third planet...
