Revamping the movies

After seeing all of the movies, I've got different things to say about everything.
Some things are done perfectly, others are just crap.

Although we have robots running through the screen is the humans(actors) that are still more important than the Autobots and Decepticons. Compare it to Jurassic Park; the dino's were absolutely amazing, but the actors had much much more screentime.

The sad thing about Transformers is that exclusing OP, Megs, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Starscream, Sentinel and the Fallen, the other Autobots and Decepticons barely have a character. Though some have an accent like Dino that doesn't make them more different from the others. Let's not forget the Deceps who cannot be differed from each other.

Offcourse it's not possible in TF1,2,3 to give all robots a different character, but it is possible through a revamping of the movies.

1) Actors could play the robots by having digitally scanning their faces and turning them into robots faces. (to create half the effect of the movie and cartoon) Though this we don't need flesh actors running around while we see robots in the background.

or, and this is what i prefer.
2) Actors playing humans could integrate themselves more with the Transformers. How?
You alL probably heard of the HEADMASTERS, the TARGETMASTERS, and the POWERMASTERS?
Yes!! Wouldn't that be more awesome? Not only by this integration, we had less Transformers in total running around, but more characterised robots in comparison.
And as for the new 1st movie: focus on the HEADMASTERS.
new 2nd movie: focus on the new TARGETMASTERS.
new 3rd movie: focus on the new POWERMASTERS.
Through this HAsbro could still be creating new toys for every movie.

Nice?

@Deathastator: Honestly, that's exactly what I would have liked to see in ROTF. Sam was cyberized/infected/whatever by the Allspark shard, and it would have been a perfect opportunity to turn him into a Targetmaster or something.

It would have created some great scenes with him "merging" with Bumblebee and acting as his auto-targeting turret or something.

That said, I've never been a fan of the Headmaster idea, with the sole exception of the IDW Sunstreaker clones.

I must say I -as an adult- the Rebirth and Japanese episodes after were very very bad. I wasn't a huge fan of the comics either. But as for the characters Brainstorm etc and the way it has been described in the MTMTE profile books, the idea can be very cool. Just like the Pretenders, the idea is nice, but just very bad shown.

My thoughts exactly.

Frankly, I can't wrap my mind around the idea of a bot needing to let another person transform into his head. What if the guy were killed or missing? Does he go around headless or remain forever in his alt mode? This "augmentation" not only fails to improve on the situation, but makes things worse.

I've read the explanations of the benefits in tfwiki, but the fact that one cannot do without the other makes the whole thing unfeasible in reality.

The only situation where something like this is actually practical is when humans use the cloned bodies of TF's as "power armor" in battle (as shown in the IDW comic featuring Sunstreaker as an unwilling "donor"), where the cloned body has no eof its own.
