Comprehensive List of Original Generation Transformers without Modern Releases

Greetings All,

I know many of us are constantly looking to :HASBRO: / :TAKARATOMY: to get us updates of all of our favorite characters. Some of us are just a few characters away, and some of us have been waiting a very long time for updates of certain characters.

What I've *attempted* to do is basically lookat the entire original Run of Transformers (from 1984-1992) and include all North American, Japanese, and European *unique characters* that still dont have a modern update. Now there are some caveats I'll grant you, and I'm still working on this.

1. "Modern" in this context will be anything from 2013 and on from the Generations line (including all Convention, Club, and Retailer Exclusives).

2. While some characters in different regions have different names, and may be portrayed differently in fiction, they are counted the same on this list, however there are some exceptions: (i.e. -Doubledealer & Doubleclouder are considered to be "the same", however The Monster Pretenders and Dinoforce are different)

3. I do realize that in Europe "G1" did have releases in 1993, but because they were all later released in Proper G2 branding, for ease of classification they are not on this list, since they can be counted as G2.

4. Classic Characters as Prime, Megatron etc... that were later released as Pretenders or Action Masters do not have additional entries.

5. Characters such as Pretenders, while they had what many to be "less than ideal" representation in Power of the Primes, those releases are counted.

Still, all that said, I'm sure there are bound to be errors, and all comments to assist me to get this list accurate are appreciated. The point is however is to keep tabs on what Hasbro/TT are releasing in the future and see if this list can be shrunk down to as little as possible. I know many fans would be ecstatic if they just get everything from 1984-1986, and some (even with 3 versions of Blitzwing in the past Decade), will never be fully satisfied.
