Any old school Stretch Armstrong fans out there? Well that particular brand has been doing licensing work as of late and they now have the Transformers license. So, we are getting a Stretch Armstrong toy based on G1 Bumblebee. The packaging itself is very reminiscent of the G1 era as well. The phots below come from an Amazon listing. Here are the details on the product, which includes a nice bio on Bumblebee.

The one and only Stretch Bumblebee is here! Stretch him, pull him, tie him in knots. When you release him, he uses his amazing stretch to slowly return to his normal size and shape!
Bumblebee is the "little brother" of the heroic Autobots and a mascot, constantly striving to prove himself in the eyes of the other robots—especially his leader, Optimus Prime.
Bumblebee is one of Optimus Prime's most trusted lieutenants.
Although he's not the strongest or most powerful of the Autobots, Bumblebee more than makes up for this with a bottomless well of luck, determination and bravery. He would gladly give his life to protect others and stop the Decepticons.

Neat, but these things aren't made to last. First gravity gets the best of them and then they dry up into a solid lump.

Bumblebee looks oddly sad, though I guess I would be sad too if I had to spend the rest of my life being pulled like that.

I can't see this selling very well.

Probably not well but I imagine it'd rope in some kids and nostalgia nerds.

Knowing how licensed product usually works, they probably will.

Or wanna-be Youtubers. I've seen videos of Stretch Armstrongs being experimented on because of its corn syrup inside, like the traditional "what would happen if you put it in a microwave?"

Hey you can at least try to transform him. Tuck the legs and arms in, fold back the head and have a glob of goo alt mode

They're a lot smaller than they used to be. And yes, they only last a few years before either the goop used to fill them dries out, or the membrane containing the goo fails.

The vintage "Stretch Monster" is somehow worth a fortune on Ebay. I guess I should have kept mine... ;)

Okay, but Animated Longarm Prime would have been better.
