Wanted to share this since I managed to get my Cyberverse shelf set up how I wanted it. It all came out really nice if I do say so myself. It's also funny because thanks to shared designs, there are 6 different toylines in this shelf but it basically works thanks to characters who did not get toys or who had better quality toy options in other lines.

And of course, my favorite team, the Resistance, are front and center, as they should be

Do you have the spark at or versions of Prowl or Shockwave? I have them, they are the best of the spark armor!

Look in the lower left, I have them as Quintesson slaves. I think SkyByte was the best of the spark armor figures, and from Cyberverse overall, I think Ultimate Grimlock was my favorite.

Saw that, but I'm just saying the spark armor itself was also very good overall. Shockwave's just looks good and Prowls has an extra hinge on the back of the torso armor, allowing for it to collapse better on his back. I don't think any of the other spark armmor figures had that, and it kind of sucks.

So, earlier today, I was standing in the Toys R Us at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey (where BotCon 2023 just finished for the weekend) and witnessed something funny. A small child with his parents was looking at the big Roll N' Change Bumblebee toy surrounded by a bunch of Deluxe class toys and other "normal" Transformers with standard articulation. He pointed to the big brick of a Bumblebee and said, "Mommy, this one's weird. I don't get it."

Oh, a bump? Might as well.

Recently, I found that Slugtron set at a Winners for just 10$CAN. That's cheaper than a 1 step, cheaper than a legends.

Image

Sure, both are bricks, the Megatron bot is basically one of these matchbox car with the bot printed on the bottom and all proportions are wonky. Still, this may be the best 10$CAN I've ever paid for a Transformers set because both are surprisingly fun to play with and the combined mode is very satisfying.

It's way, way better than Bumbleswoop.

I'll keep an eye out for the Wheeljack one.

Since we are getting more Cyberverse figures in Legacy, thought it would be fun to show some of those figures with the new ones.

Shadowstriker sort of works with the other Leader of Cybertron. Still wish she wasn't RiD Shadowstriker primarily though

As a fan of Cyberese (yeah, actually), Here's my take on the new Shadow Striker
For a Cyberverse Shadow Striker, she's terrible. As a new Design for Shadow Striker, it's great. It's just the original exclusive repaint of side burn shadow striker in Cyberverse colors, with a cyberverse alt mode (not counting the grill, which is from side burn), and a Cyberverse head (Which I think isn't too good though).

I'm sure everyone is complaining about the partsforming/shellforming in the figure, though I haven't been active here for a while, but I find it actually... kind of satisfying? :???:

My only real complaint Is I already see stress marks on the windsheild shield. Be warned that if you put it back on backwards when it falls off it will flex out. That's most likely the cause. Storing it on the back also just doesn't work because there's a gap between it and the back. I don't really care though; it looks fine on the arm.

The strange way they did the arms is something to get used to but it's not that bad.

I'm quite satisfied considering this was an impulse buy, I was really debating getting this figure.

Edit- Note: I was somewhere that the new Cyberverse Windblade "looks not like Cyberverse Windblade specifically, but just G1 Windblade" or "the traditional Windblade design."
I don't know what they're trying to say, it looks exactly like Cyberverse Windblade to me, just thicker.

First Look at 2023 Transformers Exclusive Release from Costco

While fans may not have paid much attention lately, Costco has been keeping the tradition of having big Transformers themed toys available exclusively to them during the holiday season. It's just that the recent offerings were non transforming licensed toys like those big remote control Bumblebee toys from Jada. But this year we get an actual Hasbro release. It is a rerelease of Cyberverse Tropper class Battlecall Optimus Prime in evergreen styled packaging. This toy was found at a Costco in Québec Canada by TF fan Guy.

I wish Sam's Club would get stuff like this, they haven't had an exclusive since 2009. Maine is getting its first Costco, but it's quite a ways away from me. I might live just outside the capitol, but the interstate is still only two lanes up here, we aren't exactly populated for more than one wholesale club.

It LOOKS like a great figure. ;)^

Cyberverse had some great figures outside warrior class.

I got a hold of a deluxe shockwave for a friend some months ago and had him for a day. He looks awesome and has all the articulation of a modern mainline figure. The only real downside is no good alt mode, though it is an accurate one.

First time I've seen this figure. Need to Google up the alt mode and what's the gimmicks are.

I was just at my local Costco today in Markham, Ontario, and I haven't seen it.

The head sculpt gives me a hybrid OP & Soundwave vibe.... weird.

And going by Chuck's review (just Googled, thanks!) it seems there's very little hollowness in the toy's front, side AND back profiles except the lower legs and the back of the fists... that's very impressive.

Sam's used to have great exclusives. I still regret missing out on the RID and Armada Primes along with that multipack with Combat Hero Prime and G2 Jazz.

You mean the Cybertron repaint of Armada Prime? The G2 Prime and Jazz set was a Walmart exclusive. ;)

Yeah - I remember when Costco and Sam's Club had really GOOD Transformers figures, like Thrilling 30s Metroplex. Now that was something worth going to Costco for.

And I remember the minions finding that Battle Ops Bumblebee figure at TJ Maxx for $30...
