So...occasionally the world does like to throw a surprise my way.
I was shocked to actually see that a Walmart near me apparently got a whole case of Legacy Deluxe wave 3. I got the ones I wanted from Amazon months ago, but this is the first time (aside from a lone Crankcase at Target) seeing the whole wave in the wild, AND at a Walmart to boot
. Pic just shows Crankcase and Pointblank, but Dead End and Skullgrin were there also. I'm sure these will be gone the next time I'm at this store, but the rest will be the same.

I just got home from Target a bit ago, and they had 3 Armada Starscreams.
Which looked better than I thought he would in-person.
But that was it for anything new from Legacy, SS, or SS86.
Here we are into March, and I’ve just now seen a 2022 wave 3 voyager figure….
So bizarre!!

Went to Walmart this morning and hours after ordering a Wheelie as part of the Hasbro Pulse sale for $8.40 I found this at Walmart:
Not a clue why this would be put on clearance and not all the wave 1 Legacy Core figures still on the shelf.
Also they finally pulled these out of the back. Ouch.

My Walmart is just sad. They still have a ton of lingering SS BB Sound Waves and a couple of Hot Rods. Then skip right over to the new mainline Rise of the Beasts stuff. Also some Authentics Wheeljacks at the bottom there for some reason. I was tempted to pick him up, but ultimately passed.

The lower half of my walmart's Transformers section was pretty nice. Lots of hot toys all in one space.

A local Target and Walmart. WM had at least a decent display but in the end most of it is crap with nothing worth my hard earned money....'nuff said!

Kingdom wave 3 and a glut of Red Alerts is kind of the norm for Walgreens this year. Though, most of the ones in my area probably sold out a couple months ago... Probably some Red Alerts still hanging around.
January 2024, you'll start to see Minerva in store and 2022 Legacy wave 3 deluxe at Walgreens.

On the heels of the news about Motormaster's rerelease, I found some last year's wave 1 at my Wal-Mart 2 nights ago. A couple of Dragstrips and Kickbacks. I swear they must be finding lost cases in the back, this happened with both SS86 and the Velocitron line recently.

Those have never left the pegs at my local stores.

Well I only ever saw Dragstrip once, at Target. Then nothing until this week. So I was a bit stunned.

Did your store also randomly stock wave 3 recently or did they just restock wave 1 again? Seems like Walmart is doing all sorts of weird and random stuff with Transformers.

Pretty soon some of us will be able to pick up Skids, Burn Out, Crankcase and Crosscut all at the same store...

Took a day trip to Bodega Bay with my family (North of San Francisco about a 3 hour trip one way from my home).
On the way back, we stopped a 4 Targets I've either never been to, or seldom go to. I was amazed to find the new Legacy Evolution Wave 3 Core Dino's (Swoop & Scar) at 2 of them. They even had TF endcaps!. The other 2 didn't have anything I wanted, but I did see Legacy Evolution Deluxes and Leaders which I haven't seen at a Target near me in months.
Distribution continues to be whack. I Saw TMII Megatron and Skyquake at a Target about an hour away from me a month ago. TODAY I visited 2 Targets in the Bay Area that had the Blitzwing/TMII Megatron Legacy Leaders from last year.... Seeing the same product in new packaging before the old....
.

I noticed my local Targets now have TF end caps like Walmart currently does too. It's where I found my scorponoks and Beast mode Bumblebee last week!

Best Target stock I've seen all year, maybe even all of last year.
Also unexpectedly found this on the clearance endcap. The box is pretty crushed so it has an "as is" sticker on it instead of a clearance sticker, but looking through the top they all appear to be the right figures.
$52 but I already have one. Good deal for someone else to find and probably put on eBay.

Yeah that is a really decent assortment of stock! I've not seen anything even half that good at a Target in the past couple years, what's worse is that all the local Targets seem to have been doing a remodel thus possibly not actually putting anything out until it's finished.
I even see that there's an Origins jazz, while I'm still waiting on my preorder since like Feb/march.

Went to a local Target and spotted a couple of Metalhawkes, Starscreams, and Inferno's but surprised to see this guy. Too bad I had zero interest but some lucky fan will claim him soon no doubt.

My Target also had a Dragon Megatron and Metalhawk on an endcap with some Legacy core figures and RoTB junk. Probably to coincide with the new movie.

I expected a TF endcap with the movie and all but to my surprise nothing.
