Stopped at the TJ Maxx next to my local comic shop during lunch hour, nabbed the Strongarm Capture cruiser. Also saw the Sideswipe RiD set, Battle Changers OP vs Megs set, and the individual Battle Changers of Grimlock, Hound, and Shockwave. Guess it's a safe bet that all 2015 Kreo is going to/has hit Market Six, only thing still unconfirmed is the Kreon Warriors (wouldn't bet on seeing Wave 1 at this rate) and RiD Custom Kreons.

Really? I don't think they're always intuitive by any means but I haven't had any trouble.

I bought the Optimus Prime Vs Megatron set and prime constantly falls apart while transforming.

Prime is bad. Bumblebee is a little better. The only other one I would want is Starscream. I've heard some of the builds are a little better but you also can't man handle them

I picked up OP v Megs at Retrocon this passed weekend for $16. My kids spent all weekend playing with them and the DBZ & Ninja Turtles Lego figures I got there too. They may not be aesthetically the best but they're the perfect size to fight Vegeta and Shredder. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for the others. If they knew there was a Grimlock one, my girls would never let me rest until I find it!

There is a Ross & a Marshalls right next to each other near my work, and another Marshalls near my home. I found several of the Battlechangers (Grimlock, Hound, BB, and Ratchet v SW) and several of the BB disc Demolishers. Sadly I already have the BB Disc Demolisher, and I am not interested in the battle Changers, becase they don't have a "True" Kreon Build. But I'll still keep checking back. I still need 3 of the 5 RiD Kreon Build sets (Optimus, Sideswipe, & Strongarm)

The RID Optimus vs Underbite set is loads of fun. I recomend it to anyone who likes Kreo!

Man, so weird. I can see having trouble with them, but just moving things gingerly and watching the positioning of the ball joints has made it pretty easy on mine. Maybe some had some crud parts included.

I think if you like Kreo in general, their not having a traditional Kreon build shouldn't stop you. I'd recommend one of the cooler sets like Shockwave, Starscream, or Grimlock to try out. If you still don't like 'em, only out $8 at that point, and you could always re-box it and return it.

Yes, very much so. Underbite is probably my favorite non-Kreon Kreo thing they've ever put out.

No worries there. Although I am collecting these with the goal of obtaining all the individual Kreon mini figures, my son loves the sets. We are building a huge display with Lego's as a base. My son gets all the sets, so I'm sure he would enjoy the Battle Changers, they just aren't a priority right now. With the 2015 RiD items so hard to come by, these findings in the U.S. at greatly discounted princes, are very much welcomed.

I'm sure everybody has a slightly different system. But I am trying to collect every unique individual Kreon Transformer (not collecting human characters) (i.e. I know Optimus w/ matrix was issued 3 or 4 different ways, I only wanted one of them).

My "Master List" currently shows 354 unique individual Transformers Kreons, of which I currently have 343, only 11 more to go woo hoo!

Well I managed to find Soundwave vs. Ratchet earlier at a TJ Maxx, and I'm definitely not disappointed!

Ratchet really needs heels, but I like how he looks in robot mode, and his altmode is adorably boxy without be a square on wheels or (super) obviously a robot doing yoga.

With Soundwave, I'm a little less crazy about his altmode, it's a bit awkward, especially with the Cassetticon gang all aboard, but his robot mode? Oh I love it. I love everything about it, and then you add Laserbeak? It goes from good to great. And then you add Ravage and FRumble for a full on Super mode? It's GREAT, just so good! :APPLAUSE: Well done, Hasbro. This whole concept is fantastic, and I hope they continue to do more of these.

Soundwave is definitely the winner of the bunch. It's also a great way to get Rumble and Frenzy Kreons if you don't have the SDCC Class of '84 set and who wouldn't love Kre-O builds of Ravage and Lazerbeak. The combining of them all is just icing on the cake.

Found the Transformers RID Optimus Prime Beast Blaster set for $14.99 at the TJ Maxx near my work. They only had 1, but they had more of the BB sets, these seem to be almost plentiful now, at every TJ Maxx & Marshalls I go to. Now thankfully all I need are the two smaller RID sets (Strongarm and Sideswipe) Hopefully these will show up at a store near me soon.

Additionally, I did some research on the term "Market Six" since I had no idea what it meant. It appears Transformers fans are the only ones that use it anymore, but TF wiki has an interesting write up about it if anyone is interested.

Got this set purely for Frenzy and Rumble, but the Battle Changers themselves are pretty cool. Might have to grab Shockwave if I ever see him.

Only part that has trouble staying on is the "hood" on Ratchet's ambulance mode.

I guess Shockwave was released at some point, since I've seen them on eBay, but I've never seen Drift or Blitzwing anywhere.

Also I wonder about the Optimus & BB combiners that were shown at Toyfair. Admittedly, they did not look that great, I was just curious if these were just something that never went into actual production?

Shockwave definitely got released, people have reported buying them from TJ Maxx/Marshalls/etc.
I don't think Drift, Blitzwing, or those combiners ever got past the Toyfair displays.

... but with how Kre-O keeps popping up at discount stores, who knows?

Shockwave and Hound were the last released so far.

Confirmed worldwide Kre-o releases so far in 2015 (excluding some promotional stuff I'm bound to forget about!):
  • Kreon Warriors Waves 1 and 2 (blind bagged)
  • Battle Changers Waves 1 and 2
  • Battle Changers "vs" sets
  • Robots in Disguise Building Sets (5 of them) and Custom Kreons (4 of them)
  • Botcon 2015 exclusive set
  • Market Six "Brick Box" releases, mainly repackages of 2011/2012 building sets with only Bumblebee and Megatron having anything new (redeco Kreon in each)
  • Market Six releases of some 2011 building sets in generic "Transformers" packaging
  • Takara Gashapon Kreons, so far only evidenced to be re-releases of some previous Hasbro Microchanger Kreons
  • AoE Dinobot Custom Kreon wave (may have released late 2014)
  • SDCC "Class of 1985" set
  • "Winter" Optimus Prime (Toyfair 2015 handout, thank goodness I got to go!)

So far "announced" but not released anywhere worldwide (that we know of):
  • Battle Changers Wave 3 - Triple Changers Drift and Blitzwing
  • Kreon Mini-con/Nightmare Fuel Combiners - Terrorcon Bumblebee Swarm Hivemind and Horrorcon Optimus Primal Clone Fury ;)

That list seems pretty thorough, and accurate from what I've seen/read. I just thought that initially Battlechangers Drift & Blitzwing were also part of wave 2 (along with Hound & Shockwave), but obviously they aren't.

Hahaha, I wish! But no, officially just "Bumblebee" and "Optimus Prime", the "Kreon Mini-Con Combiners".

My sets of the Kre-o combiners Defensor showed up today! They were on sale on Amazon.com for only $3.00 each, so I got 2 sets. They're tons of fun! Since this is my first time actually getting any Kre-os, I'll just do a mini-review of them, to share what I think about them in general. They're DEFINITELY not as good as Lego, but the minifigures are tons of fun. My favorite one is probably Blades since he requires little-to-no taking apart to transform. Hot Spot is amazing; I love the printing on him; he's so G1 accurate.

(btw picture is taken by me.)

Image

Now I kinda wanna get that Kre-o Groove... Idk. Since I have two sets, I actually was able to make a Groove leg out of the spare parts, and make Defensor mode WAY more G1 accurate. I had Blades as the right arm, First Aid as the left arm, "Groove" as the right leg, and Streetwise (Streetsmart) as the left leg. Also I did a LOT of modification in the building process, and I didn't even hardly look at the instructions to put him is gestalt mode; I built it my own way. Maybe tomorrow I'll post an update pic of him after I rebuild him as Defensor. I actually used Hot Spot's helmet, and Streetwise's face for Defensor mode, just to be more g1 accurate.

There are a couple parts though from this Kre-o set that don't fit together, and they just pop off on their own just sitting there, so I wasn't even able to build Streetwise 100% according to the directions, and had to modify it a bit. That is DEFINITELY knocking off a couple points. It's okay for me in particular though, because since I'm hugely into Lego, I have plenty of replacement pieces.

Over all, I'd give this set a 6/10. If you actually want to make the gestalt mode PROPERLY, then you will at least need two sets; the way they put Defensor together is below my building skills, and g1 accuracy preferences. Since he is only $3.00 on Amazon at the moment, I'd definitely recommend picking a couple of this set up! I'd just advise you once again to at least get two or three, because you may also need a couple spare parts, cuz one of mine came with a couple defective pieces.

I'll try to post a pic soon of my own take on his Defensor mode, and how I like to build him. Bye bye for now!

The Wild West OP and Knight Megs I just had to wait for on eBay, they come and go. Elite Optimus, as has been discussed previously, is just gonna be a long hunt. Not a lot of them out there, or at least, those that are probably went primarily to kids and not collectors that'd be selling them off online.

Found this commercial online for the Optimus & BB combiner teams:

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mV_iQNzPMAM

*hoping* this is an indication these will be released at some point...but doubtful.

Also the Hasbro investors meeting yesterday revealed a new non-TF Kre-O line based on a Chinese Toku show, available only in China (logically), so though it hasn't been made official, I'm guessing this is pretty much the end of the line as far as TF goes. I wouldn't be surprised if SDCC 2016 has a "Class of 1986" set, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't either.
