I will require that Optimus to be available in Canada. I passed on the Revoltech transformer figures (they were ugly as hell), but these look awesome!

I really like them. They look very cool. But then I saw the price tag. They cost round and about $100 ??? What's up with that? The price doesn't justify what you get IMHO. They are still non transforming pvc figures. Don't know how tall they are but I will pass on these.
I really like them very much that I would like to purchase them, but at that amount, and after including shippingcost, is at least to me, not worth it.

PVC? I thought Gokin figures by definition had die cast metal in places ("gokin" is Japanese for "alloy" or "combined metal").

The way AM should be........a balance of die-cast and ABS/PVC plus poseability.

It'd be really awesome if Hasbro or Takara would license out the name "Action Masters" for a line like this. I think fans of the original Action Masters would go crazy for new stuff. I know I would if it was done right.

I have quite a few Action Masters toys, I like these two new statues but MP Grimlock can pose like that and transform too.. Does not mean that I do not want them though.. LOL

Little too expensive for an Action Master unfortunately.
*goes off to spend half that money on a transforming pen*

So it's a non-transforming figure with less detail than the tranforming version... and let me guess, it only costs three times more than the transforming version. If they removed all the articulation and cut the legs off, they could call it a "bust" and sell it at double the price.

"Less detail"? Whaddya mean "Less detail"?! Look at all that complex sculpting all over his body! His crotch is more detailed than the 1988 brick.

Now that you mention crotch, looks like that's a brick too =; yea let's talk about that katana again.
