Despite being a decent figure a few issues bug me.

-Purple wings and eyes

-The insect feet on his legs are not moveable, i wanted to try to move them backwards like on his arms but the insect legs fell out of their "mushroom joint sockets" and were difficult to fit back onto the figure. :BANG_HEAD:

-Barrel is barely noticeable on his gun, it's not visible in many photos.

These toys are major all suffer from poor sales related to high pricing. Some barely sell Ractonite,Kingdom re-release of Arcee, Ravage+Laserbeak, Earthrise Rescue Patrol set, Earthrise Deccepticon Battle Squad set, Soundbarrier,Kingdom Core Class Starscream and Earthrise Battle Squad.
Worst ones are Pteraxadon and Siege Aimless

A few things BUG you about Waspinator? :-D

Industry proffesionals and retailers all state that the kingdom line is selling well as a whole. Hence why we got an extra wave.

I'm surprised to hear this. Likely a regional thing, everything sells pretty well for most of us, there aren't a lot of reports of figures lingering for more than a few months which should be expected for any line. More often than not we've had reports of nearly two years of mostly empty shelves. Ractonite is the only retail Fossilizer I only have one of because he wasn't on shelves during Target sales or line end clearance. I'm especially surprised to hear Soundbarrier didn't sell as the ER Battle Masters all seemed to sell well since the ramps were really popular for making big bases, Smashdown never got a repaint and Rung is, well, Rung and wasn't easy to get in Siege. Pteraxadon was pretty popular for not being a gun, while the guns did sell a little slowly I think that's because there was so many of them at the time it was hard for people (kids, parents and collectors alike) to keep track of them.

Rogue-Primal is from Europe (and a remote part at that), where there are different sales trends depending on country. Getting half of any given line there is pretty much the max, with the rest as cheap grey import overstock after the lines end, usually found in drug stores or stores like the US's Five Below.

Sadly true we also seem to get most of our stuff really late and we have gotten a good selection in recent years including the studio series and even imports of two Premium Finish figures which i had never heard off. But they're really expensive even compared to regular stuff.

Premium Finish Siege Optimus
TakaraTomy ID number: PF WFC-01 PFGR 01
Hasbro ID number: GE-01

Studio Series Premium Finish Optimus
TakaraTomy ID number: PF SS-02
Hasbro ID number: SS-02

Not bad. I'm intrigued by the new comic, maybe IDW can go out on a not-so-low note.

I wonder what he looks like with SS DoTM Megatron's cloak on him? Or is that too big?

My Megatron is still in a moving tote, so I can't try that out for a while yet

I just received an email notice from BBTS.

The Battle Across Time Collection: Deluxe Sideswipe & Maximal Skywarp Exclusive Two-Pack, which was previously exclusive to Amazon and Hasbro Pulse in the US, is getting rereleased at BBTS and is now up for preorder.

(Even though it is still in stock at Amazon.)

I am still very glad I ended up getting Rodimus. He has really proven to be a great figure, and he has been a ton of fun in every way possible.

Nah forget gold, they can just do different shades of yellow like with sunstreaker. Everyone loved that amirite

Just have to mix quality gold plastic on the moving parts with gold chrome to keep it from chipping.

Yeah, doesn't have to be chrome. Metallic or glossy gold and vermilion would suffice.

I'd suggest a compromise on an all gold Primus, but then if they went that route it would be derided as inaccurate, even if those compromises were to make a toy that would last.

I'd honestly prefer this over Takara Tomy's preference for all gold.

Well, the Lucky Draw was all-gold only in vehicle mode. Its robot mode was gold and crimson:

Inspired by his Marvel appearance.

Though, the Lucky Draw further inspired his JG1 design, which was likewise two colors:

I think this Rodimus toy might be working its way to being one of my absolute favorite toys in my collection, which is truly shocking honestly. And Rodimus himself is beginning to become a favorite character of mine, also helping that perception

Yeah, Roddy definitely has got the touch.

Top figure of the decade at least.

Wasn't sure what thread to put this one but fossilizers are kingdom soooooo
Any moon knight fans? Tried to have punch/counterpunch as steven/marc and the fossilizers to make up khonshu and armor. So far just kinda tried several things, this would be for Mr Knight i guess since I have the armor on punch

I'm a moon knight fan. I forget, did I post my pic of Konshu using the fossilisers?

Also, I just got my Slammer and I am not a big fan. Unlike the earthrise modulars, this guy feels wonky and lims to detach quite easily. Like Cog, which I guess makes sense since those are more similar. Though I wish Hasbro had improved.

Looking back on Kingdom, not sure in what order I would rate these toys but here are the ones I liked best:

Airrazor
Primal
Cyclonus
Inferno
Tigatron
Blaster

And my favourite of the fossilisers was Wingfiner
