Never really explicitly. They injured him in a way that he could come back should they need him. And I'm glad he is. I need a good deluxe Barricade

So someone done a... rather fun little digibash.

Along with that Hardhead > Armada Demolishor a while back, this is one time I regret looking at a digibash because I love it so much even though I know it'll never happen.

It looks to me like they used the BotCon 2005 Deathsaurus as the main source of inspiration.

It really doesnt scream deathsaurus. Beast Hunter Grimwing would be a much more imposing choice for that character, especially the Takara retool.

Image

The head is all wrong though. They should jsut use the head he comes with

Now, see, that one looks more like the original Deszaras. The other one seems to draw more from the BotCon toy that used the Devil Gigatron mold

But Takara Tomy already did their own take on Deathsaurus in that line with Bakudora.

That TLK digibash above reminds me more of bat Primal/Convobat, just with red wings.

As for the new reveals, don't expect them to spill too many new characters until after the movie comes out. In other words, SDCC. Also, since this is a movie line expect the street date to actually be a big deal. For normal lines stuff just shows up when it shows up, but like with every previous TF movie stores will be getting this stuff in advance of the release date so they can all be released at once at all stores. There'll be signs up in stores, just wait and see as we get closer to April. They do the exact same thing for Star Wars toy lines as well.

We could be getting Leader Megatron and MP Megatron at the same time, that'll be interesting.

Here's a thing to point out, after a discussion with D-Max: Dragonstorm is a force for good.

The figure features premium detailing and awesome, movie-inspired effects including flapping wings and more than 20 sounds and phrases. Though we do not see this, or the Autobot symbol, on the 1-Step figure.

He meant the 1-Step Turbo Changer doesn't show him as an Autobot. It was the little figure that D-Max pointed out had the Autobot symbol, hence it being the photo used.

Yep, that's the Legion class in the photo, not the 1Step!

GIANT FEROCIOUS AUTOBOT DRAGON, WOOHOO!!!

It is so rare that we get something like that!

Maybe the poster with Optimus fighting him means that the two might at first mistakenly see each other as a threat, neither knowing who the other is (Optimus might see Dragonstorm and mistake him for an evil guy, and Dragonstorm may just see Optimus as a someone trying to cause harm), before they clear up their confusion and realize they're both on the the same side.

Remember how the big moments in the trailer for AOE was Optimus VS Grimlock?

Transformers: The Last Knight Leader Megatron Complexity and Bio Revealed

The star of the 2017 Toy Fair was that sweet Leader Megatron. There were still some questions though, like how complex is the toy, does it follow the more streamlined approach to engineering a lot of Age of Extinction toys had (like Hound, Drift and Galvatron)? And how many flame accessories does he come with?

Well we have answers for you and they are all the best answers possible. A picture of the back of the leader class toy's box appeared on instagram and it shows that he does indeed come with 2 flame accessories, for both his jet thrusters and it reveals his complexity. Leader Megatron will take approximately 30 steps to convert (depending on what Hasbro considers a step). This is leagues beyond any toy from the previous toy line or any Transformers toy of the past 5 years.

Also, the back of the box shows us his bio and that his wave mate is the redeco of the Age of Extinction Leader Optimus Prime that was also on display at Toy Fair.It also shows his battle face which has the faceplate we previously saw but it also shows that his ram horns are poseable and can be brought closer to his face to complete the look.

I still wanna see the differences between the Leader and Voyager Megatron. Cos I wanna know how much I'll have to 'settle for' if I pick the smaller, cheaper option. :P

that whole "force for good" caught me off guard on Twitter, and sure enough: true! Might have to get him now for sure since we rarely get red and black dragons that are good guys. This reminds me of Cybertron Scourge: he is a good guy, but he so looks the part of a great bad guy

SO once again he has no real alt mode, which is too easy of a toy.

MR Optimus Prime wrote:SO once again he has no real alt mode, which is too easy of a toy.

Huh...? It's Cybertronian, yes, but it very clearly has a defined shape and form modelled after some kind of jet rather than just random collection of robot parts shoved together. It's a very attractive alt mode, at that; and arguably demonstrates the best way to do a Cybertronian mode - take a familiar concept but make it very alien.

Nonsense, those steps include transforming between 3 modes. From one to another its just about 15 steps, which leader megs doubles. Lets not be ridiculous in trying to be snarky.
