The Kingdom waves were not properly distributed locally, with an overabundance of wave 2, and you can still see it on the shelves 1 year later mixed in with wave 4 which we got in abundance as well. Those toys are now relegated to the back display where they put the other toys that don't sell well on slight clearance. Oddly enough though, Wheeljack sold out. Every version of that earthrise Wheeljack mold sold out rather quickly.

Really weird, I have not seen anything wave 2 since last summer. They didn't stick around too long.

New Core Class SS Ravage Stealth variant (see below)

On a more serious note however. I did get my first Kickback sighting at a larger Walmart that obviously just got a new Legacy Deluxe case in. 1 Kickback, 1 Skids, and 2 Arcee's left on the pegs. I have yet to see a Dragstrip in the wild.

Just form my own observations, which is a very small sample of the population I admit, it appears that the popularity of Legacy wave 1 is:

Core - I have no idea which of the 3 is the most popular, I'd guess Skywarp if going out on a limb. I've seen fair amounts of all of them, which is nice considering I never saw Rodimus in Kingdom Packaging.

Deluxe- With 2 per case, distribution is even, but I'd have to say the popularity goes: 1. Dragstrip, 2. Kickback, 3 Skids, and 4. Arcee

Voyager I never saw Blaster in Kingdom Packaging, but to date, I've only seen Legacy Blaster one time. I know the case ratio is 2 Bulkhead to 1 Blaster, but man, when you see 4 or 5 Bulkheads at every store now, you wonder what happened to all the Blasters? (well I know, but you get what I mean)

Leader Galvatron and G2 Laser Prime come 1 per Case each. It would make sense for a number of reasons for Laser Prime to sell much better, and quicker. Admittedly, I've seen more Galvatron on the shelves, but surprisingly its not like multiples them, its usually just 1 Galvatron, or the store has no Legacy Leaders at all.

I can't tell what's popular in my area. The higher prices (higher than the US price converted) are even scalper proof now. All figures are simply not selling, even Kickback and dragstrip. Same for Blaster which is weird since we didn't even get Kingdom wave 4 at Walmart or TRU.

Granted, what I'm sharing is only based on about 7 weeks (early April).
When I first spotted Legacy deluxes, the only ones I ever saw were Acree and Skids.
In multiple Target and Walmart stores throughout almost all of April, I would see an Arcee, or 2 Arcee's, or 2 Arcee's and a Skids, sometimes just 1 Skids.
It was only last week where I finally saw Dragstrip. There were 2. In fact there were two of every deluxe, except Kickback-- there were none --which is ironic considering he's the one I wanted most out of this wave.

I was just at my closest Target this afternoon; 1 Arcee, 2 Skids, 2 Dragstrips, and 1 Kickback.

So in this area (although limited),
here's what I've found to be most popular:

1. Kickback
2. Dragstrip
3. Skids
4. Arcee
(although these last two are very close)

I have seen a lot of Blasters as well. I didn't count, but from what I'm remembering there were around 6 Bulkheads and 4 Blasters at Target today.

I've seen over twice as many Galvatrons as Laser OP's. Target had 4, and zero OP's.

And Core class has been pretty abundant. Surprisingly, I think Hot Rod may be selling the best so far, followed by Skywarp.

Doesn't it make sense that the one you want most is the most popular and thus the one most likely not in stock?

Kickback and Drag Strip are usually the last to go in my area.

Gotta say, this pic of a california target someone posted looks like what fans have been yearning for since as long as I have been on the boards. Not only is it a good number of toys on the shelf but all the latest product for multiple lines.

Looks pretty much like my local Target. Just remove the legacy Deluxes and add in a bunch of Bulkheads

You are very lucky to have those SS deluxes in stores.

Just another trip to an outlying Target. The sale onSS core was surprising. Too bad it didn't apply to Legacy Core, I would have picked some up for that price.

The Marvel Legends photo I threw in because there is a claim online that Target is removing them altogether from their stores, which may be true for some stores and locations, but clearly not all

I'll have to take a pic next time I see it, but the open packaging and Bulkheads design allows a somewhat Marvel-esque missing head syndrome if you push his head into his body. I saw a shelf with 5 or so "headless" Bulkheads a few weeks ago.

Yeah you can see the first one in front on the left has the head down, about half were like that. I guess it's better than the actual head being removed.

Pretty sure that only applied to non-movie figures like the X-men stuff.

I don't think I've seen more than 3 Bulkheads in one spot, wave 1 only seems to just now be hitting saturation in my area.

My local stores are still clogged with Wreck Gar, Sweeps, Kups, and Blurrs.

So. Many. Kups.

Is that Buzzworthy Kup at Target or just regular SS Kup? I haven't seen SS in a while, but yeah, plenty of Sweeps around here Sweeps and the previously pictured Bulkheads.

I'd say Legacy Wave 1 has hit full saturation now. I have no idea when I'll start seeing wave 2 or any new SS. I've only seen deluxe Wave 15 once or twice at Target, not at any Walmart in my area. Also haven't seen Junkheap, or Core Spike either.

Both. They will not move.

Walmarts are still clogged with Kups and Blurrs too. They will not move there either

My closest Wal-Mart had 17 (17!) Bumblebee Soundwaves last time I checked. And 6 Coronation Screamers.

Yeah I think Coronation Screamer is going to make poor Sludge hard to find. One Target yesterday I went to had 6 of them. Most Walmarts have 2-3.

That situation with BB Soundwave sounds similar to what happened at one large Walmart near me. Right at the start of the year they had 30 ( I kid you not) 30 Kingdom Leader Megatron. I went to that same store yesterday and they still had 5.

Another Walmart still has BW retro leader Primal and Megatron on their overhead shelves, probably 4 or 5 of each, they aren't going anywhere. I know they've been clearanced online.

My local Walmart hasn't really had much in a while and stuff sells pretty well. This is from last Thursday.

20220707_073434.jpg

Not shown, a bunch of reissue Scorponoks, a SS Leader Starscream, a Legacy Laser Prime and a couple of those big Cyberverse Bumblebees (the only Cyberverse figure they've had in stock all year). Can't remember the last time I saw a Deluxe Studio Series figure here, may not have even been in 2022.

Target is basically the same story, but they finally put the pegs full of Silverstreak on clearance, I've finally seen more than 3 Bulkheads at once, and I've seen (or didn't see) my first stolen SS Ravage.

My Target had 6 SS86 Starscreams and no other leaders, and Bluestreak is now 50% off, but Blurr and Kup are still full price. I don't get it

Just another boring week at my local Target. A couple SS86 Jazz showed up out of nowhere...unless they had gotten lost in the stockroom for over a year and were just now found...??

I know the below endcap might raise some eyebrows, but of course it was everything except (Red Cog), which was all I wanted, so none of it came home with me. I hope all of you who are looking for these new Buzzworthy items get something near your Target as nice as this display was.

Only new thing at my local Target was the exclusive Dinobot on the endcap, no tags for any of the other stuff.
