Those were abandoned gimmicks. Like TM2 Megatron and TM2 Blackarachnia, he was supposed to have a third vehicle mode like the first Transmetals. The cockpit was for a figure that was to represent his inner being, or spark. Optimal Optimus and TM2 Megatron had a similar feature. It was aborted because kids could mistake them for actual pilots, hereby ruining the "sentient robot" idea. The spark figure was kept for the Japanese "USA Edition" Cryotek, the TM2 Megatron repaint.

That looks like RID Sideburn's gold weapon. I used to have to where he can be transformed but somehow he became a peice of crap. All that's left is the main body, both legs-a foot, The hood/wings and missile. I don't know how he got like that. Last time he was transformed, all that was missing was the gold pistol.

I was rummaging through my storage bin of movie transformers and came across this part. I was in the Evack figure box but I'm not sure it actually goes to it. I've searched a transformers reference site and this part was not shown. Does anyone here recognize it? Let me know please. My apologies for the poor quality, I took them on my phone and they come out fuzzy.

If you still have the raft that was included with the Evac you peg the raft onto what you called the "underside" of this piece. The top side then fits the hand peg on Evac and serves as a really crappy blaster.

Its pretty lame, but you know what it is now.

it is from the movie evac. the movie whirl from the metallikato two-ack has the same thing. Its a piece from a hand gun for the character. the other piece is a raft which sits in the scorponok cage.

WTFisthisIdon'teven...

Anyway, While shopping at a thrift store (The kind that stuffs a bunch of old toys into a bag and sells the whole bag as one thing) I came across this leg thing inside the same bag I spotted an Animated Oil Slick in. I decided to keep it and wonder if it's a TF part or something else (Power Rangers is my only other guess). It can be a leg, the side of what looks like a large treaded machine, or a separate leg that is clearly supposed to cover the leg of another figure ala Energon Wing Saber.

So, any ideas?

Wow, the guy on the left looks so much like Optimus Prime it isn't funny. I assume it transforms into armor for the guy on the right?

Huh. Maybe now that I know what to look for I'll try to find the rest of it at the store tomorrow.

you wont find anything in the store...these where out in the mid to early 90's. I remember having two of them when I was young. And your are correct for the most part it doe become armor. The legs stay as leg armor. However the drill machines forming the thighs and lower torso become gauntlets and shoulder pauldrons. The head become...the head. Though I think it's a different head mold. Oh well there were three armors this guy could wear: Synchro, Drago, and Zenon. Drago is probably my favorite. Its a T-rex that transforms into a plane and into armor.

I meant the thrift store where I found the first piece, but you're probably right. I wonder if a single leg would be worth anything on eBay...

Hi everyone,

I'm sorting out my collection from when I was younger. I came across this "Optimus Prime" which can change your voice when you speak into a straw located at the back. Does anyone know where this came from? Thanks!

I've never seen this particular item, but it's actually a version of Ultra Magnus. :)

I am a mincon collector so I picked up this figure on eBay a few months ago and cannot place him. I've looked online for pictures, names, etc and have got nothing. I can't even figure out how to transform him really. It looks like he may transform into an engine so I was thinking Powermaster but I'm not sure. He is mostly gray with some red bits. He has large flat feet that are on a hinge. Close fists with pins in his forearm. I'm guessing thats how he pegs onto a larger figure. He also has what appears to be a tire as a head. His face is red and sits in one part of the tire. I have no idea who he is.

No, is isn't him. I have looked through nearly all of the galleries on seibertron for him. He isn't an actual minicon as he has no connection port. But he is the exact same size.
