Yeah, and even that was a hard pill to swallow for me.

Lately, Kingdom's been making me nostalgic for when I could buy all those awesome Beast Wars scouts for $5 USD apiece. Now, you can barely get a puny Core class for twice that.

Gee, thanks Biden
Trump
Obama
Dubya
Clinton
Elon Musk
Putin
Warren Buffet
Jerome Powell
Santa

Point is, if we all focus our rage on the right target and bitch about it until we reach borderline incitements to violence, someday we'll get the cost of all our precious toys back down to 1980s Big Lots prices!

You just gotta' believe!

Unfortunately, this is going to get worse before it gets better. My area in Wisconsin is seeing almost 10% inflation quarterly right now.

Nor are there disruptions in supply, no "less supply equal demand" that drives prices up...
Careful guys, you'll hurt some feelings around here with that kind of talk.

Yup.
Understandable though.

No lies detected.

Not gonna lie, if this is indeed the future, it's a tough pill to swallow.

Think of it this way. There's a lot of discussion about eliminating the use of oil. Oil is needed in the production of quality plastics. As political pressure continues to eliminate the use of fossil fuels and oil in general, alternatives will need to be developed. Money needs to go into the research, and most of the substitutes right now aren't any close to being as affordable as oil-based plastics. Combine that costs with supply chain issues and the "environmental change in packaging" (interesting because, even with the plastic window, the entire packaging for the last three TF lines has been 100% recyclable), plus increasing costs of production, shipping and supplies, and rising manpower costs, and I wouldn't be surprised if deluxe prices were at $30 by the end of next year.

The only thing that can be fixed there right now is the supply chain and, until SDV has run its course, that's not going to happen.

I feel you, my collecting practices have changed a lot ever since Has/Tak started increasing prices AND reducing quality in certain areas (size, holes, them HOLES!).

I started to buy ONLY the ones I really like, and I'm buying more 3rd Parties, because they're giving me more for my money.

I love Beast Wars, and only got Tigraton and Airazor, I was unable to like the others, I know is their business and they will manage it as a business, if they are doing it its because they have data forecasting they will have the results they want, financially speaking.

There is some quote by someone about facts and feelings, I feel like it would fit here... what was it again?

Since I collect several lines some cutbacks are definitely going to happen in the wake of the higher prices, as somethings are simply more important than others or plastic in general.

My in-store collecting has already been at a bit of a standstill since Siege, only getting some Weaponizers/Modulators/Fossilizers plus the odd bot, I think that'll continue for a bit longer.

I'm curious to see when Pulse raises the prices on all the other figures to match whatever the new levels are. They eventually did this for everyone on their site for the last increase, even figures produced before the last increase, so it should be coming at some point.

Also interested to see if we get another reveal today, and more importantly what the price is.

Edit: looks like I was off a few days, Friday should be very telling.

The only new preorders we got were for the RED figures (which do sell at the same price point as Marvel legends 6 inch line and Star War Black Series), and they were still at 22.99. So no price hike just yet for you Americans!
