Nope, that's "Silas Breakdown", this is normal Breakdown.

We;;, that makes me less likely to order it then, honestly. I want the flying vehicon, but that's about it in the set now.

You could try Mandarake, I saw a "Silas Breakdown" on there right before the anniversary pack was announced for ~$83 USD + shipping. The English on their site is pretty decent, there is color pictures for each item, and a rudimentary knowledge in katakana can get you very far on the order process.

this is the reason I want that one so badly. I feel that represents Prime Megatron at his most evil in the show: revived by dark energon, the arm of a dead prime robbed from it's grave attached in place of his own so he could access the power of the Primes, wielding a dark form of the star saber forged from dark energon.

You cannot get more hardcore than Megatron was at this point. This is a reason Prime Megatron is one of the best Megatron's ever created.

Pretty sure he was referring to interpretations of G1 Megatron, which I agree.

No, I was referring to any Megatron. I do not count Prime as G1 in the slightest.

And while Beast Megs killing history is definitely high up there, I think the instance of Prime Megatron in Season 2 was more hardcore.

Another, far less known, instance of BW Megatron's hardcore-ness: Blackmailing a demigod by directly threatening his existence.

And later, the two come face-to-face and share this little exchange:
Shokaract: "I'd rather not kill you, Megatron. There are benefits to your continued existence I shall reap in the years to come. You know how it is."

Megatron:"Ah, but I don't. And the knowledge you posses of my future is the very price I demand for not scattering your future across the aeons"

I still remember being shocked when I first saw that. Like, he was going to assassinate Optimus Prime! I thought that was gonna change Transformers forever. (And Beast Wars did.)

I wonder if the Titan after the Ark will be the Nemesis. Is it inevitable now?

I think a Nemesis titan would only work if it fit into whatever toyline came in 2022

Oh as much as I love the Prime two pack I really wish they had gone with Final Battle Megatron over Darkness Megatron. I'm still buying it of course (I'm a ***** for Arms Microns) but if they gone with Final Battle Megatron I would buy two, just so I could have two of that sword (one with stickers, one without).

Put my orders in for the war breakdown pack and royal cobra commander. Looks like UK isnt getting Drizzt, sparkly pink ranger or the foil retro marvels and looking at prices of £90 on the quint pit.

At least the exclusives varied in price so it's not as bad as paying hundreds for a Bot con box set and only star wars fans are taking a huge dent to their wallets exclusive wise. The prime war breakdown set was really decently priced, cheaper and more value for money than a netflix voyager with battlemasters.

looking forward to that ARK !

:D

if they've got ANY sense its third form has to be a playset/base mode to pose other figs on with a prominent teletran one screen :D :D :D :D

but its a real out of the blue figure. i woulda sworn a titan class overlord woulda been next as he's pretty much the only city former left from the original G1 period (euro/jap exclusive or not) .so its nice to get a brand new character.

the head looks very "last autobot"-ty too.

and hey ya just KNOW theres an animated omega supreme homage coming down the road too as i cant see em just wasting the opertunity to maximise the mold.

The Ark is a great choice. And the Nemesis is the next logical one, although Black Zarak is more likely in my book, assuming they elect not to go the exclusive route for him.

I honestly cannot see them doing Black Zarak outside of a Selects release or a Takara exclusive

Why not? Because he's not well known here?

That and the fact that he would come from a Titan mold. He'll either be like Grand Max or like Star Convoy in terms of release.

Eh, I'm not so sure.

Maybe they'll see it as a niche item only a few collectors would be interested in, or maybe they'll see it as a really nice color scheme that will appeal to a lot of people in general. It's not like niche characters or color schemes haven't been released before more widely. I'm thinking of Liokaiser and the G2 Combiner Wars releases. Heck, there's a lot of pretty obscure characters they reference just because they can.

To be fair though, despite the head remoulding he'd need, he'd be a repaint. Hasbro have never offered a repaint titan at retail (argument could be made for Fortress Maximus but he had more retooling done then what would be needed for BZ). Only company to offer a repaint titan was Takara with Grand Maximus, which had to get over so many pre-orders to get made)

Black Zarak will only be viable to HasTak as an exclusive of some kind. We'll be more likely to see Metroplex ver 2.0 then BZ at retail release.

True, but this is also a titan. The last exclusive to japanese media titan barely made it to production and did not even get the little pretender suit to make the set complete.

I fully expect that any Black Zarak will be $230 and exclusive to Takara. Open to being wrong, but I have every expectation that if, and I mean BIG IF, Black Zarak happens, it will be Takara titan exclusive

I'm glad Black Zarak means absolutely nothing to me. I don't have to worry about any of that. I'm passing on the Ark as well, so I guess I'm done buying Titan figures for couple of years. Armada Tidal Wave and Animated Omega Supreme would be great, but a redo of Metroplex is also likely in the near future.

I had thought so too until the announcement of Warden leaving Transformers since it was he who said that he'd like another go at Metroplex.

I love the concept of the Ark bot. I would prefer an Animated Omega Supreme, but honestly it's so cool to see something original like this.

I'm still hoping for a Titan Animated Omega and Armada Tidal Wave in the future. And i would not mind a re-do of metroplex so long as they went the FOC route

Black Zarak is a strong maybe for me. But they're pumping out a LOT relevant to my interests.

The Ark will probably stay in alt. mode, but I like that they're doing it. I'd get a Nemesis, I guess.

But, other than that? I dunno. I don't even have the space, really. The collector side of me would be tempted if they did a Metroplex more in scale with Trypticon, but the practical side of me says I already have him and I'm happy with him.

isn't that what the 2013 figure was for? I mean sure it's not accurate below the chest, but the game itself (or at least Metroplex's appearance in it) was supposed to be the hype for the new figure and the Titan line as a whole, right? So the "FoC route" would be a more stocky, G1 accurate Metroplex.

And Sabrblade, I think just because Warden left, the concept of an update didn't necessarily go with him. Depends on who takes over for him. Perhaps one of his assistants/apprentices/minions?

Yeah, it all depends on what those he leaves behind want to do about Metroplex.
