If they dont do that then they have a harder time being able to sell in Canada.
What if the second language is Spanish? ;)

Our Seibertron news hounds are live on the San Diego Comic Con floor, sending us hot and fresh images of the latest toy reveals. One of the sections of Hasbro's display at today's breakfast event was of the new line of G1 Reissue toys! This is one of the first times we've seen first hand images of new old toys like Devastator, Starscream, minibots like Swerve, Bumblebee and Tailgate, and their impressive reproduction packaging. If these follow the same trend as Hot Rod, these toys will all be exclusive to Walmart in the US. Check out our images below, and stay tuned for more SDCC coverage!

This could be online only like some of their previous Transformers exclusives.

What's interesting about the Constructicons is that they appear to be using a uniform shade of green instead of the two-tone green of the original and Encore 20 (but not 20A). I think it's a better look for the figures.

I'm really just aiming for the mini cars.

No thanks! G1 was the most awesome thing back in the 80's but that ship has sailed. G1 toys are complete crap now. I look at them & can't believe I thought they were cool when I was a kid.

An odd thing but I both agree and disagree with this. I agree because I think it's further pandering and the prices are not realistic for the toy itself but on the other hand if people want them, then they should feel free to get them, will probably be cheaper then tracking down originals. G1 toys were great in the 80s but that's where they should have stayed...in my opinion but c'est la vie

I think a very select small amount of them do still have some degree of holding up to this day, like Soundwave and Fortress Maximus in particular, but overall I do agree as well.

Awesome thanks! Preordered! The only other one I must have is Devy. Still on the fence with Hot Rod and Bee.

Hi-5 New York! ;)^

I'm only after Tailgate and Swerve out of the rest of these guys. My G2 Devy will do for now.
Super excited to complete my Seeker trio after 34 years.

Someone on TFW said he preordered Devy and SS around 4 hours ago. I may have missed out on Devy. I hope it comes back in stock....

Here's a quick search I did for other listings.

https://www.walmart.com/search/?cat_id= ... ductResult

Scroll down to the bottom.

I didn't find Bee, Swerve, or HotRod, but al the others are there.
You can bookmark Devy in case you want to hawk him.

Edit: Whoa. Weird. After checking my link the search results changed since the last time I looked. Devy is not there, Tailgate is active, and now Swerve is up but Outback is gone.

Edit Edit: Now I've lost them all. Walmart.com is an absolute mess to navigate.

Just found a thread on TFW. Looks like they were all in stock. Folks said they were able to PO all the figures. Interesting that SS is the only thing still in stock. I figured that would be one of the first to sell out along with Devy. Really hope Walmart gets additional stock soon.

Yeah, most were available today (including Starscream) but all were eventually sold out :(

Also, your handy news staffer already compiled the entire list to walmart links: https://www.seibertron.com/transformers ... ues/41614/

Also, Outback is shortpacked to accomodate 3 BBs (which also sold out insantly)

I've been checking the website pretty regularly. The one time this week I haven't checked for about 3 hours is the exact time it goes in and out of stock. :BANG_HEAD:

They put a pretty strong emphasis on these being available in stores this fall at Walmart during the SDCC TF toy panel. If you miss out getting them online they should be available locally, too.

Walmart-Exclusive G1 Minibot Reissues Sighted in Canada With New Rubsign Variety

PostPosted: Sat Jul 21, 2018 1:18 am
by Qwan
While SDCC chugs along, it's important to remember that news still happens outside that convention! Fellow Seibertronian Samsonator has spotted the Walmart-exclusive G1 reissue Minibots at (naturally) a Walmart near South Surrey BC. Bumblebee, Swerve and Tailgate were all present and accounted for, at $11.97 CAD (about $9.10 USD)... and Swerve and Tailgate also brought with them some more interesting news.

It seems that a new variety of rubsigns has debuted with these reissues, differing from the old kind in a few ways. Aside from a more reflective silver, the actual "rubsign" part itself is apparently made from a softer material, and the Autobot logo appears simply as red rather than a variety of colors depending on the temperature.

Check out the image of the sighting below, and check Samsonator's Twitter post for a video showing off the new rubsigns! Share any thoughts you may have in the Energon Pub Forums, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more Transformers news!
