Of course, most of the painted pieces are made from transparent plastic, which might pose some issues in the future.

That alt-mode is good enough to make me want to pick him up, If I ever find him.

Can anybody that has Mirage take a comparison pic him with SS-86 Jazz in car mode, just for kicks?

I wouldn't trust the MV8 part too much. Just like how MV6 Frenzy is most definitely SS86 Frenzy, MV8 OP is probably SS86 OP. I would be very surprised if movie 8 happens next year or even in the next two years given ROTB's poor performance.

The animated movie is confirmed for next year. So one can assume figures from there will make it into SS. So, this MV8 Prime makes a lot of sense there even if he is being voiced by Chris "The Mighty Thor" Hemsworth.

What's still confusing is why MV8 Prime and Bumblebee are both in whatever sub-group / line "A Level" is supposed to be. Some type of more accurate figure sub-line? Special detailing , paint apps? Who knows.

We knew for a fact ROTB was coming in 2022 until it was pushed back an entire year only months ahead of release. Given that movie's poor performance I have no reason to believe we're getting movies in consecutive years without taking a break for reevaluation.

Frenzy wasn't in the Bumblebee movie so I doubt the accuracy of that listing unless it's another Freezer repaint they're sticking a Bumblebee logo on. That feels like a wasted Core slot for a mold that doesn't need a third retail repaint if that's the case.

It's an animated feature and RotB was delayed due to other factors.

I don't see any reason for them to delay the movie, worst comes to worst, they may choose to just release it Direct to streaming instead of theatrical if they don't want to spend the money on advertisements.

Transformers One. - September 13 2024 - IMDB.com

But anything can happen as you say.

But if it's not for TFONE, then what is this Prime? a 40th anniversary SS86 version?

People seem to be sure SS86 Prime is going to be a Commander class figure so I don't think this is that. The whole "A Level" thing is a total unknown so I couldn't even venture a guess what it'll really be. Between the G0200 numbering that's being used for exclusives and lack of price class it could be anything from a true "mini Masterpiece" new mold line to a "Premium Finish" style Hasbro line for Earthrise molds (since Takara Tomy handled Siege, SS, and Kingdom), to a 1-step Generations line to something that never sees the light of day. Could literally be anything. Only thing I don't think it is is TF:One.

Unfortunately, that speculation was based entirely on speculation about SS86 Commmander class Ultra Magnus having an inner cab robot that could be redecoed into Optimus for a SS86 Commander class release, but said Ultra Magnus ended up not having an inner cab robot after all.

Maybe the error is with Bumblebee.

Maybe they are both MV8 figures. BB is slated to be in that movie too.

The lack of class size however is a bit strange.

I'd also love a Core Class Frenzy, but at this point I could take or leave Que and the Dinobots. The one I'm really hoping for is Onslaught, preferably as an original mould because the vehicle mode is so different from Long Haul, but if an extensive retool from Studio Series Long Haul can be pulled off I'd take it.

I would take that too. I want more live action bots! We have a lot to go!

Que, AOE Hound, and a new High Octane Bee would be my top 3, but there’s so many more we need in the line!

At least with Core Mohawk we have the start of the TLK Decepticon team, most of which are long overdue for a figure!

Now that we officially have a Voyager Ratchet for SS86, will we see a battle-damaged one similar to Ironhide?

About as often as the sleet in Crete lies neatly in the street.

We also have some Buzzworthy listings, including a third Studio Series leader reissue!

Was not expecting TLK Drift at all, but I’m glad he’s on the way! Especially with TLK Crosshairs in the line now, the original mold that got a SS exclusive release doesn’t scale.

As well as a listing for a Deluxe "Rise" Lifeline, with "Rise" being the designation he says is still being used as a code for Reactivate like those two-packs that got listings but have yet to materialize, and a currently unknown Commander like how Magnus was listed.

Plus I found another post he made slightly clarifying the "A Level" listings to the best of his current ability:
All I know about “A Level” is that it’s Studio series. A new Price point. Around deluxe size. It’s going to consist of mostly well “A level” characters to entice retailers to buy it. I don’t know it’s specifically going to be distributed vi what channels. Other hasbro action brands will be getting a similar price point. For example Marvel legends is getting a “A list” assortment and guys like captain America and Iron man will be in it.

Nice to hear about Drift, I'm not sure if there's a place for him in my current set up, but it's good that Bayverse is still just about hanging in there. The leaks also mention:

TRA BB SS Voyager 1
Product Number F9654

I'm hoping this is Bayverse Ironhide, either a re-issue of the original or a retool with his Dark of the Moon weapons, and hopefully not another N.E.S.T. themed repaint.

Its a Hasbro wide subclass of key characters that can be ordered by retail stores. For Transformers it will be Optimus and Bumblebee, for Marvel Legends it will be Captain America and Ironman and Black Series has some as well. The unknown is if it will be new molds or not.

I cannot find it at the moment, but what really plays into the rumour is a Hasbro designer (either Evan or King Samlock) saying that they would like to make a Commander Optimus Prime.

Any fan of Transformers The Last Knight ... Drift? Well he will have a toy coming out next year in the Studio Series line. JTPrime17 wrote all of next year's slate which you can see below. It also includes a figure from the upcoming ReActivate video game. And for those wondering what the Level A figures are, they are a sub-class made up up popular characters that stores can order to ensure that popular characters are on the shelves. It should be a different price point from the rest and there will be the same subclass in other Hasbro lines, like Marvel Legends which will have Iron Man and Captain America.

Thank god for that Drift listing! He needs a new toy, especially of his TLK design considering how that mold had turned out. They did good with Crosshairs, I have hope they'll improve him.

still annoyed as hell about that SS86 Steeljaw listing, we had hope for AOE!

Core MV6 Rumble
Leader MV6 Megatron
Deluxe MV6 Sunstreaker
Core MV6 Frenzy

Super confused about these. Movie 6 = Bumblebee, right? None of these characters were in Bumblebee. Heck, I don't think Rumble or Sunstreaker appear in ANY live-action movie, unless I'm completely forgetting something.

Edit: saw above people are speculating that they are supposed to be '86 figures, which I guess makes more sense, but still seems odd since Sunstreaker is only in that movie for like, 3 seconds total.

Wait... I'm confused....

Neither Megatron, Sunstreaker or Skywarp were in the Bumblebee movie. What exactly are they then?

Megatron had a pre-production design, and Skywarp is an easy repaint of Starscream / Thundercracker.

But Sunstreaker?

Frenzy and Rumble too?

Some of them have to be mistakes.

So Level A, instead of A Level. At least its looking like a actual sub-line now. Though that MV8 prime is a bit strange.

Ya know, I just thought about this, and wonder if this is possible too:

Sunstreaker has a Reactivate design, and is rumored to be one of the main cast. Maybe this is a Reactivate Sunstreaker?

i could see them making up Bee movie cassettes to go with Soundwave, milk that for all its worth, though they could be SS86 and now re-releases under different names, so you have Rumble (red) and Rumble (blue) for instance.

megatron could go either way, he could be a toy of the Bee movie concept (like what happened with some of the Constructicons in SS), he could be 86, or he could be reactivate.
