I've made it before with corn flakes, I think you should give it a shot! It's a bit crunchier with them but I think it also has a nice flavour to it.

Conversely, I wonder what people's reception to a DLX Wheelie would be? Given that these "minbots" are still very "core" in size but can pack a wallop in articulation and to some degree sculpt quality. And while I like Core Wheelie for what it is and the price point, I can't help but think how much better a DLX version could be in terms of articulation and sculpt. Not saying I definitely want it to happen or that it should, just putting it out there being that we've got other core sized Bots being release as DLX figures.

And to be clear I don't feel every Core Bot should be considered for DLX, Frenzy and Rumble for instance, or any other tape figure.
Well I think Wheelie is pretty much the only mini car that should/could be done at core effectively given modern standards. But then again, I did get that upgrade kit for it though so I think that alone disproves what I just said. So I was more than willing to pay more to get those few extra features to tidy it up better. Meaning a deluxe would've made more sense and given some extra articulation on top of similar features to what the upgrade kit provided.

Iguanus is amazing and Bomburst is really good but I would've liked them to be deluxe. Not only for the size increase but because they could've benefited from the size increase more, especially Bomburst. Bomburst needed some extra locking points for vehicle mode as well as something to at least try to clean that jet mode up more too. Iguanus just really needed his weapon and maybe something extra to replicate his wheels/weapon thing. Even without them, Iguanus is still awesome.

The Exosuit is one that wouldn't get all that much better as a deluxe. It does everything it really needs to do other than have a fully painted head. I just wish a company made some swappable heads for that mold. I have three and would like some different heads under the dome. There's plenty of humans that they could do too other than just Spike. Carly, Raul, Sparkplug even Chip as the Exosuit could be used in place of his wheelchair. It doesn't matter one way or the other to me if they never used it before in fiction, it would just be pretty damn cool. Though ankle joints would be nice and maybe better arms but I don't think it really needs those things.

The Dinobots but not exactly. There's plenty of other larger characters done as core figures so it's just more of the same really. It's the Dinoking characters that I would want to be larger. Sure they mimic the toys being core class but I don't care about that. I want a Dinoking/Monstructor that's the same size as the other combiners just as in the comics...that I don't actually read. At this rate though, I think anything is fine for Dinoking and Monstructor though.

Laserbeak only got done as core class since it's just technically a smaller DotM BB and it just so happened to work out. If they were going to make him bigger then there's plenty of deluxe SS Bumblebee molds out there to choose from.

Freezer doesn't need to be any bigger. Although I don't have one yet to say for certain. Could they have done the knee joints like that one upgrade kit at core class? Probably.

Arcee maybe but she's most likely going to get a larger figure at some point anyway. Other than the Beast Combiner one that is. This is actually another I don't have yet.

Vertebreak and Dracodon if only to have gotten more deluxe Fossilizer molds but not necessary. Shame we didn't get more at this size.

Rattrap was sized to the new show so it's difficult to tell if he should've been a deluxe. I want him to be if only because he's too small for the original BW. He's at least the same height as Blackarachnia and not THAT much shorter than Cheetor and Airazor overall. At least we have a good deluxe Rattrap mold so that helps.

The rest are larger characters done small or very small characters that would be crazy to try and stuff into a bigger size class.

Soft confirmation that Reactivate figures are coming, and that Studio Series Gamer Edition was created to give Hasbro a place to put them.

And here's the kicker! Both it and the Kingdom KD-EX Burning Optimus Primal are only available to those in Japan who preorder movie tickets to ROTB in a certain way during a certain order period.

As an argentine, I just can believe the heresy you're spouting here. Milanesas are made with finely ground toast! Pan rallado!

Catching up on the reveals earlier this week:

Core Bumblebee looks nice, glad he has the mask to help mix it up some. I will get him.

voyager Rhinox looks REALLY good. I am excited for him!

voyager Prime also looks pretty great. I cannot wait to get him too.

I took some group photos now that I have completed the maximals and Terrorcons with a mix of movie and SS toys. I need movie Mirage so I can complete that cast.

and we need Commander Stratosphere. Now.

Just finished up my custom Studio Series Lockdown! Studio Series almost always knocks sculpted detail out of the park, but it's especially on point for this figure. It made painting it really fun!

Lovely custom job, it's crazy the amount of detail in those sculpts that goes unnoticed because they aren't painted.

I preordered the RotB Prime figure, mainly to make sure i get one. I didn't preorder the rest, I usually don't preorder non-exclusive TFs.

Looking forward to the whole crew. especially Rhinox.

I just transformed the SS 100 ROTB Bumblebee. For a SS, it does not have too many tiny parts and the transformation is enjoyable and simple.

Appart the arms sticking a bit out in vehicle mode, Bee commit an unforgivable sin. His blade store under, but his gun store on the rear bumper of the car. WHY? There's plenty of real estate under the car that the gun could store into. Under the legs. over his face. Just add some tabs and it would have been possible. A shame.

Regardless, he's a solid figure.

When I see weapon storage botched like this it makes me wonder how much of an afterthought the weapons were. Not that they weren't going to include weapons at all, just that they changed their plans at some late stage. Like Legacy Breakdown who I'm sure was supposed to have two guns and no spoiler originally so the guns can be on the back of the car like the other three, particularly Wild Rider (if you peg the gun on the back it has plenty of clearance to stick out over the roof) and then at some point decided the spoiler was more important and modified the new gun to stick underneath.

They were so close for SS100 Bee.

See those black tabs in the front under the car? It's already there and I was sure the two yellow tabs of the gun would peg between them. But noooooooooooo.

Image

So what I did was to shave some plastics on each sides of those yellow tabs on the gun to make it the right size. I used my Dremel for this, but you could use a file.

Image

And BAM! it work!

Image

Not only it work, but the gun peg in solidly and it's flush between the arms.

Image

As a bonus, Bee can now be a menace on the street and blow some tires.

Image

:HASBRO: never thought that just a few thousandth of inches on the gun's yellow tabs made a big difference between dumb gun storage and good gun storage. [-(

Ok Rhinox looks fantastic. I love the almost knight look and all the cracks in the sculpt look awesome. Very excited to get him and to see what they do with Leader Class Primal.
