This week on the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast, host Megatronus is joined by Kuhlio, Aaarnhide19, and Mr. Starscream to spin the wheel of fate. Listen as Megatronus lets Google take the wheel and steer discussion into more of "40 for 40", our impressions of the latest that Legacy United has to offer, what it will have to offer, MPM Brawl, Missing Link and even more.

Episode #349 “Agent of Chaos” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.

Here's what we discuss in this episode:
  • In 40 for 40 we "Target 2006."
  • Bragging rights brings the discussion back to the year 2024 (somewhat).
    Image
  • We finally answer OptimusBrat's question about commander Rodimus Prime.
  • As promised last episode, Legacy United Wave 2 in-hand reactions are shared before talking about Legacy United Wave 3.
    Image
  • Robosen has revealed Megatron in their self transforming robot lineup. The cast debates if this collection conforms to the code of their collections.
  • MPM Devastator Brawl takes the stage. Find out if the cast says "Tanks" or "No-Tanks."
  • Finally, we find the Missing Link and wrap up all this random chaos.

Speaking of POS's and vector prime, when do we get the brown repaint?

That robosen segment was brutal. I was watching a kid's baseball game and trying very hard not to laugh hysterically. I think I'm ok with robosen not getting the repaint thing only because Hasbro and some other toy makers beat us over the head with them.

But as far as Rodimus, there are just so many things they could fix. The face sculpt, the legs, the trailer door, clear plastic on pressure points needs to go, the little fender pieces, and just how far the front end sticks out from the trailer (all so that you could fit a little tray for the effects pieces!). Although it does win on diaclone pilots. But honestly, rodimus doesn't need a super complicated transformation. He didn't have a hot rod intro transformation where everything spins around (G1 rodimus maybe one of the best candidates for missing link).

RE: Rodimus, these are all great, granular points that go beyond our general "but he's a good toy" feelings.

I remember Flintstones push-pops. They still make the orange flavor ones. Those don't turn your poop green though. That one Halloween whopper thing from years back also produced Shards.

Man, imagine if that recolor had actually been gold back in '06 like the airbrushed sample used for the stock photgraphy. Instead it was disappointment-tan
