Profile: Hound is right as home on Earth: The vast and varied terrain of this planet is much more appealling to him than the metallic city-blocks of Cybertron. Hound might even say that he prefers this new hom to his original one. Hound has no problems spending long stretches scouting the planet for Decepticons, as it gives him ample time to explore the planet, and use his holomatter avatar to interact with the native lifeforms. Secretly, Hound harbors a fantasy of actually becoming one of the humans and living an organic life, away from the endless wars of the Cybertronian, but he is a loyal warrior, and would never actually desert the Autobot cause: Certainly not while the Earth is threatened by the Decepticons.

Abilities: Hounds function as a scout gives him access to a wide range of advanced sensors, mounted as a gun-like device on the back of his Alt mode. These act both as a long-range radar and a sensitive infrared radiation collector, allowing him to organic lifeforms and Cybertronians, hidden or disguised, as susbstantial range. His main 'weapon' is a hologram gun, which can project 3-dimensional holograms over a wide area, based on thousands of 3d images stored in Hounds databanks from his scouting mission. This allows him to not only confuse the enemy with false targets, but to 'cloak' himself and his allies under a false image, a very useful tactic on an unpredictable battlefield.

Weaknesses: Hounds sensors can sometimes be too sensitive: Even a small level of electromagnetic or thermal interference can reduce their effectiveness substantially, leaving him reduced to his optics like every other Autobot. Also, the power requirements of his sensors and hologram gun mean that he is rather poorly armed for an Autobot who must work alone: His only real ranged armament is a shoulder-mounted missile launcher, with average punch and limited ammo.
