I'm currently really into collecting the CW figures so i really enjoyed and feel inspired by your fight scene shelf. Poor Powerglide though, i'm going to open him now as i found him today and i get the feeling being a big red gun will make me feel bad!

I may not have the space to do what you've done, but i really like it. Especially the small units with, as previously said a few posts up... a different story can be told in each!

Yeah top stuff, keep it up :D

Thanks

I put Powerglide into gun mode because he was the only guy without a weapon. I guess I could have just given him a weapon, but I like that crazy over-sized gun thing AB has going on there.

Posed collections are always the best, but this... This is a scene, an action sequence. Amazing display. I wish I had the space to do what you're doing, because it's magnificent.

On a whim I picked up a new buddy for my desk.

Image

I also decided to stop using VGA quality images and to stop clogging up the seibertron servers with my silly images.

Also nabbed this guy as well. Just playing with him at work, but he will be hanging out with Shockwave and Dreadwing in the near future.

Image

He is a fun mold, but I had to shave the peg on the back of the boosters down a bit for it to fit in the hole in his back.

And here Jhiaxus in his new home, lording over his "minions".

Image

I went with a non standard transformation of his wings. Gives him a bit of a concealed weapons vibe.

I've been on a bit of a Takara Tranasformers GO! kick lately. Picked BH Starscream on the cheap. I like this color scheme better than the US version.

"Better lighting"

Image

I was going for an Alfred E. Neuman "What, me worry?" pose/attitude that I feel fits (Prime) Starscream well.

Got a few new playmates and I've finally gotten around to updating my CW shelf. Got a whole new battle scene for ya!

Image

Let's get the big guys out of the way first.

Image

Breakdown doesn't make the best arm, but I really wanted matching knee pads. That looks like one heck of a wind up, better put your dukes up Superion!

Image

There ya go buddy, brace for impact. Yup, that's my router. It's got to go somewhere and why not make good use of it.

Has that brawl in the front piqued your interest?

Image

Rook smash! Looks like Wildrider has found a pretty good use for those muffler clubs. Uh oh, looks like we have a man down back there.

Image

Don't worry, we have one of our best working on Alpha Bravo. Huffer and Powerglide are providing cover fire if First Aid needs more time.

Image

Image

Way to go team work! Hey hey, looks like somebody found a good use for Silverbolt's loosey goosey gun.

Must be getting serious if Megatron is rolling in for support. Streetwise may have bitten off a bit more than he can chew!

Image

Seems like a bit of a cliffhanger, the Autobots may need to call in help from another combiner.

To be continued...

You should sub to our LA sightings board. Found them at a local Target. They had two complete cases. I did hook up a fellow Red Stick resident with the other case with the heads up.

Friday I had a 12+ hour day and drove all over Mississippi. I think I made 6 or so hunts that day. On my way out of town I spotted that another Target had gotten 2 cases and then a Target in MS had 2 cases. They were piecemeal by the time I got there, but they both had the tell tale sign of dupes.

I found myselfl (RID Jazz) at the TRU in Hattisburg, MS (which also had 2 RID Sideswipes). I didn't bother updating the MS sightings thread, it has been dead for years.

Still gots to find Hot Spot or just be lazy and order online. HTS is tempting me.

Next time I get some new stuff I'll just drop some grainy pics at the collect-o-tron ;-)

My TF space is a wreck, but I forced myself to work in the Protectobots.

Oh yeah, glad you liked it, thanks.

See, you have the Gulf of Mexico hook up. I've noticed that a lot of "first sightings" have been coming out of Texas. Are you aware of the massive infrastructural re-arranging of the logistics industry? It used to just be the costs, but now to help lighten the load on the trucking industry they have started using the Gulf more. They even reclaimed a giant swatch of highway from Texas all the way to Minnesota to be a private trucking toll road. It' funny, because I've noticed a huge change in distribution of toys alone.

So that's my really long drawn out way of saying, you lucky dawg!

You should start posting in the "Haul" thread. It's fun to celebrate everyone's victories no matter what size. Plus some good laughs come out of that thread.

That kinda makes sense, because the guys in New Orleans always seem to be way ahead of us here in BTR. But then again N.O. is an international port as well.

I've have to search that thread out. I always post to our local sightings board, but I don't bother with old news/online pick ups.

Sorry, couldn't help but ape your style a bit. Hey, imitation is the highest form of flattery!

Finally broke down and picked up a Legion RID figure.

Image

Of course what good is a prime without a punching bag?

I'm surprised at how fun these guys are. It seems the more and more simple the transformation gets, the more fun I have. Go figure?!?

But, now I want the rest...

My walmart has them all in the clearance isle for $4.50 a pop. Including the new wave with SS and Grim. Go check yours, or tell me and I'll go get them for you. ;)

It's true, they are.

Dealotron wrote:clearance isle for $4.50 a pop

$4.50 you say? Hmmmm.... I'll have to do some scouting around. They are well stocked at the local Targets and WMs. I want to say they are just over $5 at Target and $6 at WM.

I'll be on the look out for Grims now, but what I really want is Fixit. Some jerk on the haul thread is flaunting his around all willy nilly ;-)

Let's see if I can just puke a bunch of random sh!t out. Ok first up is my random-ish MP stuffs. I think I was talking to Cobotron about this. Anyway, I was just moving stuff around and set the "out of place guys" here and then just sorta liked they way the looked. So, for the time, they live there.

Image
Team Heck Yeah!

On that MP-y note. Here is another pic of Soundwave. I had the camera and the light out, so why not?

Image
FIRRIB, RIRFIB, I don't know and I don't care. They are awesome no matter what color they are.

Just an update on my RID15 roster.

Image
One of these is not like the others, one of these does not belong. Spoiler, it's not mini OP.

Nothing new here. Just Bee just went hang with his buddy.

Image
One can never have enough Bees and OPs, right?

I don't know how Cosmos got Megatron's guns, and I'm not brave enough to ask.

Image

This last one is just because he is awesome and I haven't taken a pic yet. Shame I didn't notice it was out of focus until it was too late.

Image

If anyone wants a better pic of his arm gun mod let me know. It was done with just the included parts. Not that hard to figure out honestly.

That Autobot group shot is very nice, who would have thought that a mixture of G1,G2, Classics and FoC would work so well?

Ahhhhh MP Soundwave, quite possibly my favourite figure of all time.

Loving that ConstructBots Shockwave, ConstructBots are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine actually, I've bought a bunch of them "for the kids" :)' trouble is they love em too!

Who would have thunk it? That Bee is a bit of an odd figure. He is kinda tall for a Bee, but works well next to MPs.

leakin' lubricant wrote:Loving that ConstructBots Shockwave, ConstructBots are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine actually, I've bought a bunch of them "for the kids" :)' trouble is they love em too!
Shame I was too lazy re-take that pic. Those guys are a lot of fun. I don't really have to space to give them a proper display. I going to set them up in the most G1-y non transformable configuration and have them fill the dead space behind the rest of the figures on that top shelf. The good thing is their height give them a bit of an advantage. I could also use a few more TF/spice racks.

I'll have to take a couple pics before I set them up there...

Image for stopping by guys. I appreciate the kind words.
