Need help removing floor cleaner residue

A trick I learned on a model train forum for stripping paint easily was to give the parts a bath in floor cleaner - such as SuperClean, Fabuloso, or PineSol (which is what I used) - for a few days.

I used this to great effect when stripping the old, awful touchup paintjob off my Cybertron Optimus Prime in preparation to restore him with a better attempt. Having had this success, I then decided to use the trick to accelerate stripping the failed, ill-conceived, long-regretted "Nemesis Prime" paintjob off my Armada Optimus Prime cab robot.

Unfortunately, I left the parts sitting for too long because I got bogged down in schoolwork, and it was months IIRC before I got them out. Some of them had a white residue left on them after scrubbing and rinsing them. I would rather not have to scrape this all off, nor have to sand it off and repaint the parts to their own base color. Can anyone tell me what will get it off? Rubbing alcohol does nothing to it, and I'm hesitant to try nail polish remover without consulting people on the matter first.

EDIT: Here's a pic of some of the afflicted parts:
