Profile: Before the war, the Cybertronian Ariel was an archivist in the Iacon archives working alongside Orion Pax. She was content in her existence and satisfied with the state of Cybertronian life around her. Not long after the war started, the great archives served as one of the prime targets for Megatron and his band of rogues. Gravely wounded, Pax and Ariel were taken to Alpha Trion, and the old bot rebuilt them into Optimus Prime and Elita-1 respectively. Forced to enter the war rather than catalogue it from the sidelines, Elita took to her new function with the same professional competence that she had applied to her work as an archivist.

Elita-1 has come to be known for her resourceful and fearless nature. For millennia, she has lead troops under her command to easier and easier victories as her skills and experience on the battlefield increased. As such, Elita-1 is viewed as an experienced leader and seasoned warrior, often deployed on unorthodox missions that Autobot Command trusts her implicitly to handle effectively, but has not let this affect her sense of compassion. Lives are not collateral damage. They are lives, no matter which side they fight for.

She views many Decepticons as not being inherently evil but instead warped by Megatron's vision and charisma and believes many of them would turn from his path if provided a better alternative. When the opportunity arises, she tries to give them every chance to do so before putting them down, but will not risk her teammates lives to spare a Decepticon. She possesses a keen understand of battlefield prioritization. In battle, she knows when to attack and when to withdraw, and how best to use the strengths of those under her command.

In recent vorns, her operations have assigned her and her unit to some of the further reaches of the known universe, tracking down the Decepticon flasghip, the Nemesis and its reported contents. Autobot Command has not informed her of what those contents are, but have conveyed the utmost urgency in ensuring they do not remain in Decepticon hands. Responding to a distress signal, she and her crew do not realize that these two seemingly unrelated tasks are about to become quite intertwined.

Abilities: Elita-1, in addition to her leadership skills and knowledge of espionage, has one other tremendous skill: the ability to stop time. When used to its full effect, the manipulation of chronological energies fully depletes her and damages her systems beyond repair. Where this ability is only really understood by her creator, Alpha Trion, it has been successfully altered to where she can slow time incrementally, allowing her a faster reaction time. This ability, however, depletes her reserves, and so she only uses it when absolutely necessary. In her vehicle mode, she boasts over 1001 HP, a 7 speed transmission, a All-Wheel Drive drivetrain, and can reach speeds of over 400 MPH.

Weaknesses: Elita-1 has been known to behave erratically in the presence of Optimus Prime. Believed to be a side-effect of Alpha Trion's reconstruction of the two of them, Elita quickly saw it as a liability and requested ongoing assignments far away from the Autobot Prime. Her time-slowing abilities drain her energon considerably, relative to the duration and frequency of use before she has a chance to restore her energy levels, hence she rarely uses them, instead relying on her skills as a warrior to defeat her enemies.
