Correct. This is where stratic thinking works best. Personally I fill the harder to get links first. Each task has to have his own mission link.

sprockitz wrote:For number 2, are the repair and bite ones single tactic as well? Are there any alts available with single tactic bite?

No, they don't have to be single, they just have to be able to do the repair or have bitten within the mission.

sprockitz wrote:Traitor alts, is there an easy way to identify these? I'm struggling to find anyone in this category.

This is harder... If you find an Autobot using a Decepticon alt. that's it. Myself, I have 1 Autobot alt.
Of the active Autobots with a Decepticon alt may seem even harder.

I defenind this as has to been in the Vector sigma database here on Seibertron.

A duel tactic alt like a tank, is an obvious ground even though it has strafe. I tend to look at it like this: Can the alt fly in that mode? A tank .. no, but a jet yes, an insecticon likely...

I'm carrying at least 3 characters on my team that are using con-only alts(Flashkick, Emergency, First Aid).

so weapon or gadget? weapon is of particular importance to me for a recent mission, based on this I'd say ground since they can't fly on their own?

Not sure this is the case, just won the mission with lowest level being a 6 rank and we got steel.

Soundwave's been seen Flying in his alt. As has Shockwave. Both I'd say fly. But if it were a Image it's weapon, but it doesn't fly.

Do you want to send me the link or the pic of the alt?

So, as I read this, if say Sprockitz and I have claims in the same mission, only one of us can get credit for it? How would we know who got the credit and who has to claim it again?

1 claim per person per mission. So we can both claim 1 of the 30 things in a given mission, could be the same number or a different one.

What isn't allowed is a single person claiming multiple things in the same mission.

The Potentate, for example, tried claiming multiple things off the list from the same mission. This isn't allowed.

Sprok is right. You can only claim one mission number per task. Just because you took top spot, and you strafed a level above you, doesn't mean you get two tasks for 1. You have to choose one and hope to do the other in another mission.

Special challenge #1

Image
Pretty sure the Gestalt entity would be called The Baconator...

Prowl has blown his cover and has been seen on the battlefield alongside other 'turned' Transformers. He cannot be allowed to combine with any other characters to create a Reaver gestalt*, you must stop him!!

Image

Orders: Stop Prowl Combining!!

Round up and capture any 4 combiner limbs from either Scramble City or the Combiner Wars line, and any single Torso unit, to stop the Reavers in their tracks!

Duplicates are allowed for the limbs. Scramble City-style 5-point combiners and Devastator combiners only. If in doubt the alt being chosen must be based on a 'scramble city type' combining character as listed here.

*Please note, this is not an indication that combiners will be added to the game at all, sadly.

So how will we know which alt is for which character? For example a fire truck is the G1 classic Hot Spot but Optimus Prime has also used it. I know this is some form of alt hunt but fairly broad.

https://www.seibertron.com/heavymetalwa ... _id=149544

Arson is a fire truck but no specific note which character it represents.

I'll allow for a bit of common sense. Personally, I would say G1 only but I'm old and refuse to accept Armada ever happened.

If you can find a reference to the character using any specific alt on either that photo gallery here or TFwiki the I'll almost certainly allow it unless -Soundwave- says otherwise.

That alt is based on Energon Inferno which can powerlink to another deluxe sized autobot but is not a combiner limb or torso.

Point of order: several alt modes are based on G1 Predacons (which are not scramble city style combiners) and Energon combiners. Can these be counted too?

Predacons = yes.

Anything Energon? = I'll leave that to -Soundwave- and hope she knows more about it than I do.

Combiner claims:

combiner limb @ 0.47 (alt based on Energon Blight toy)
combiner limb @ 1.00 (alt based on G1 Breakdown TF universe art)
combiner limb @ 2.39 (alt based on Swoop, I trust this counts because of his PotP toy being a combiner wars style limb.

I'm hoping it's a separate game since I have no clue which alts are actually accepted!

I'm making good progress on the main list though...already got 28 done.

The better they are, the quicker they complete the hunt it appears...

We have a Winner!!

Sprockitz
has completed the hunt as of mission #149859. (Including the trainwreck challenge!)

This means that you all have 48 hours to look at your logs and see how many more claims you can fit in. Don't be disheartened if you did not get as many as you like - these weapons will be available for everybody in the Weapons Shop (sponsored by WarPorn Industries) and for every challenge you completed, another weapon can be added for your teams average level, so everyone is a winner here!!

Stay tuned as the game isn't over yet, there are still more challenges to come!
