I'm curious how the Gotham Knights game will be. I like the idea, Batman dead, the rest of the Batfamily stepping up.

Is Gotham knights Dceu or Dc animated mam or sir ?

While I was refering to the video game, which I think just came out, there is a live action show in the works by the same name. looks like another batman show without batman.

Ah yes, forgot about that one.

I had time to kill the other day while my partner was in for day surgery so, and with nothing else of interest, I went to the cinema and watched Black Adam.

I was hesitant because it's DC after all and they have a terrible track record for movies, and I had heard a few unflattering things but I had time to kill along with a free ticket, so I went in with low expectations.

Because that was a good thing. I didn't dislike it, I enjoyed some parts, but overall it was a bit ... meh.

I know it was a passion project for Dwayne Johnson, and I do know the history of Black Adam and the JSA, and they did a good job of following the comic lore, but ... it just wasn't interesting.

DC probably didn't do any favours by using the JSA, I mean they have a guy who flys with wings and an old dude with a cape that does magic ... non-comic readers are going to scream they're ripping off Marvel (despite the Marvel/DC history of ripping off each other).

Watch it, don't watch it, you're not really missing anything, heck, go onto Youtube and watch the mid-credits scene, that's about all you need.

Yeah I just read about it too. That's terrible. I didn't realize he was in his 60s already. 3 weeks from his 67th birthday. RIP. Cancer is **** horrible.

He was Batman for so many of us. This is a hard one to deal with. RIP Kevin. :(

It blows my mind that, despite a really extensive voice acting career, he never did a Transformers show. I had to IMDB it to be sure, but he didn't. I'm stunned.

Really terrible news. His and Keaton's Batmans (Batmen?) set the bar that all later portrayals had to reach. Everything I've read and watched about him he was a real class act, what a loss.

I saw this yesterday. Like Emerje said, never saw a single remotely negative thing about him, by all accounts the rare breed to childhood hero who wouldn't disappoint you. And his Batman was perfect. This one hurts... :(

I've never set my keyboard into another thread outside the the "TF Toy Forums" but after hearing about the passing of Jason David Frank I was very surprised to see no real news report was made over the loss of the Voice of the modern day Batman...Mr. Kevin Conroy. If I'm wrong in this please let me know and my apologies in advance! I'm not so "tech" savvy and I tried to post it here but I'll always remember the Cartoon Network bumper and hearing the amazing words ending in "I am, Batman!!!"

If someone can post it for all to see that would be epic! Conroy will always be the voice of the Dark Knight for many fans including me. Life can have a sick sense of humor and here again life chose to claim the lives of 2 people way too soon. Mr. Conroy the world misses you and we thank you for the legacy you have left for us. :(

Unfortunately, Henri Cavill won't be returning, even after the Black Adam movie.
My interest in DC movies has decreased.

Doesnt say he wont be back, just that the next movie seems more younger Superman. Maybe an adaptation of Man of Tomorrow?

Yeah Gunn has expressed that he wants to work with him in the future, so it's not like he's been ditched completely. Besides, this allows Henry to dive into Amazon's Warhammer 40,000 project with reckless abandon which I'm stupidly excited by.
