Any other MB fans out there? Post your favorite myth, favorite buster busting moment, or any myth you think they should test in the future

The myths involving dogs (Old Dog, New Trick; Beat the Guarddog; Fool the Bloodhound) is one of my favs.

So is the one about the fainting goats.

The one about getting dried cement out of a truck with explosives. That was the most memorable boom ever.

Yes. Plus, the Adam vs. Jamie competitions are always fun to watch.

And watching Kari

And Tory getting injured.

Kari...mmmmm

Tory and Grant are extremely entertaining though. I'm glad the show is pretty much split down the middle between the five of them.

I absolutely adore this show. Whenever there's a marathon running, I'm never far behind.

Does anyone know if there are season box sets available? I found "Collection" sets but those tend to be random episodes rather than a complete season.

I love the show. My favorite myths are the ones you don't expect to be true, like the exploding water heater, shredded plane, and exploding lava lamp.

Ah the waer heater. Good times. It was a good lesson to make sure that thing was in good condition.

Yep, that's one of my favourites, too. Did they found the pieces of the truck, it seemed like the whole truck evaporated in the explosion

The other favourite is the ancient lie detector.

22,000 Foot Fall - the one where they blew up a WWII bomb's worth of TNT, just to see if the blast would "cushion" the fall of a ball turret gunner.

Oh, and any time they abuse "Buster" and co.

And so ends one of the most original and unique TV shows. After 14 years and so much inspiration world wide, Mythbusters has ended, not with a whimper, but with a bang.

I can't even remember when I first saw Mythbusters, I just know from the first time I saw it, I was hooked. I was just fascinated with everything they did, admittedly all the explosions got a bit monotonous, but there was so much else.

Goodbye Mythbusters*, you will be sorely missed the TV landscape.
(After they air the "lost" episode at least)

Sad to see it go. Figured Kari, Torrie, and Grant's departures would be the beginning of the end. Sadly, egos got in the way. Hopefully Adam and Jamie can take some time away form each other to let the air clear, and eventually reconcile. They had been friends for a long time. There is no need for petty disagreements to ruin their friendship.
