Ive been lurking and low key wondering this too... figured he got banned  Im surprised I recognize some of these names, but then again I've been a member (better or worse) for a lot longer than it feels like I have... I think I got on about the time DOTM speculation was hot. Hard to believe three movies have come out since then, and I've grown to hate the whole movie franchise (except bumblebee. ) despite how I used to fanboy them so vocally.

There, I've given you all bad memories

Also, rip the og manly thread...
This is depressing.

I'm gonna assume anyone that hasn't popped in since their name got mentioned probably died from Coronavirus.

RIP

I remember fondly talking to MaxieAstrotain (I think her name was), we'd talk alot in messenger/chat but would always end up roleplay fighting each other. Good times.

Yes, but where? I checked my post history and I am thoroughly shocked I didn't disappear further in to the past. Hasn't even been three years! Funny, though, kid-me would have had a conniption if I had vanished for more than a day.

That shot of nostalgia was alright. Sometimes we're young and dumb and we learn from it and grow. I even sometimes wonder how the TTT crew turned out and what they're up to now. *checks TTT* Oh, site is gone now I see. Well hope Solidus, LG, MP, and even Operation Ravage are doing alright.

Anyways, back to Facebook before more ghosts like Blast Cannon come back, lol.

Oh, I'm still around. Finished my stint with the Army, went to grad school, have a wife and kids now. Gained a lot of weight. Have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol and jelly beans. You know. The usual.

Same, but while I’m here I guess I’ll just mention Bee’sGirlfriend or BG as she was most often referred too.

Shows how long I have been a member when those names stir up memories, Alvin Prime is really pushing it back as wasn't he a bit crazy with some of his posts and fake accounts?

I guess myself and all others in that list went from being 20 somethings with low level jobs and disposable income and time to 40 somethings with demands on time and cash and less time to post. Such is life though I guess.

Oh lord, the duragrip era was right about when I returned in the mid 2010s after an extended absence.

It may or may not have impacted my decision to take another extended leave of absence.

I was gone so long my post count went from City Commander back to Micromaster level.

One guy I miss talking to on here is Private Random. Fearless leader of the Jaffa Squad. Dude was random as hell, but had a great sense of humor.

I was sad to see Amelie has departed the website after about a decade and a half of being active, but we still talk on Steam every once in a while.

Is Joe Ng still a member of this forum? He used to be pretty active on here back in the days of the Dreamwave comics, which he worked on, and my googling his name because I loved his art was more or less responsible for me finding this website in the first place.

Bumblejumper is also missed.

Ironhidensh wrote:So, I'm feeling a bit melancholy and nostalgic tonight, and have been flipping around in old posts, and it got me missing some of the good old times with good old posters. I'm gonna list some names. Most of you won't know or remember them, but some of you old farts like me will. These are some posters from years past that I miss, in no particular order:

Chosen
Ground Zero
Negare
Supreme Convoy
Tammuz
Halo
Shadowman (never thought I'd miss this kid, but I do)
Happy Locust
Maximus Prime
Lord Galvatron
Milanion
Leonardo
Sayia Maximal
Neko
Blastback
Redstreak

And some names that, while not remembered the most fondly, they sure are remembered:

Terrorscream
Dr. Spengler
Morph
Alvin Prime
Raymond T (not bad necessarily, but this dude would go on massive rants about laser cores anytime somebody mentioned sparks.)

Some chick with kitty in her name? She always went on about her Asperger's.

Fangry

And so many others, lost to the sands of memory. I joined this site 16 years ago, last month. What a ride its been.

I raise a beer to those of you no longer with us, and to those of you still here? Get a life. Nerds. :-P

A lot of familiar names that I remember. Had good times posting with them back in the day.

Also remember there was kind of a purge around the time of the STFU movement..
