Totally Unrelated Stuff For Musicians

Although TFs are never far from my mind, what takes up most of my time these days is my PhD in the ergonomics and physiology of playing classical guitar. As a side project (funded by the University of Kent Public Engagement with Research Fund) I’m interviewing professional musicians about their experiences with injuries with the aim of spreading awareness about playing related injuries for those who play a lot. So far I’ve interviewed Richard Durrant, John Mills, and Gerald Garcia, and I have a few more lined up.

I'm not promoting my YouTube channel in the hope of getting famous, and I'm sure I'll never generate income from it. I'm doing this to help musicians and to bolster my academic CV (because public engagement will impress future employers). It would really help me if you could give the video a thumbs up and maybe even subscribe to the channel, even if you turn off notifications!

Anyway, here's the first of my interviews with the phenomenal Richard Durrant.
