So is anyone watching the old Sitcom again? Right now there are two episodes out. Seems like they picked right up with about a 15 year gap.

Thoughts?

The last few seasons before she was cancelled were ****. The jokes weren't funny, John Goodman was clearly being treated like crap to the point she killed him off.

After watching the first two episodes of the revival, nothing's changed. It's still unfunny **** and her ego is still over inflated. The only redeeming quality of it was John Goodman.

I'll give you that on her. But my favorite was Darlene. Most of it just kind of hits home because I grew up with even less than what they had. Shared some of the same struggles. The funny part to me, is while I have more than my parents did, we're just about where they are now.

Better than it was, but not by much. At least we're not living off the state.

I'm with Burn on the last few seasons, they went downhill fast. I actually got back into it for a while when they won the lottery, because it kinda turned everything on its opposite side ("Shattered Glass Roseanne" ) but that wore off quickly because the episodes were boring. Then Dan got killed off and that was it for me. The show was over anyway, but that just made everything seem like a waste of time.

I was skeptical about the new episodes, and I have yet to see them, but if it's more of the same, then I'll pass.

Still, it can't be worse than Roseanne's talk show.

The first episode opened with them both in bed and her waking up from the dream where he was dead.

That in itself kinda sets the tone of the show.

So they did "Dallas" it.

Well, almost. Luckily we weren't subjected to John Goodman in the shower.

Even I wouldn't want that.

Yeah, I wonder if he will make guest appearance taking the kids for a weekend or something.
