Just had an argument with the wife. I made her pause TV to watch that trailer and she was all "really?".

To which I replied "It's Star Wars. It trumps everything. Star Wars would trump your mothers funeral".

I like how Chewie doesn't have any grey compared to Han, who looks like Herbert from family guy.

I haven't had much interest in Episode VII ever since they said FU to the EU.

But this trailer now has me interested.

I had no physical reaction.

So the Empire reconsolidated? They look even meaner and more competent than usual........dark days for the New Republic.

Isn't that basically what they were?

Well not realy, they were bigots, but not like that. Though I think that it was stated the costumes were based on Nazis; though in the original trilogy; it was only really the officers, and higher ups that rocked the Hugo Boss (Hugo boss was a fashion designer who made the SS Uniforms among others)

Storm Troopers, besides that boots, didn't look that much like actual storm troopers. The new Shadow trooper, im going to guess that's what he's supposed to be, resembles a Panzer Cop. Which they aren't really nazis, but there's allot of German, shall we say, influence in their character designs.

Yes, and now I'm worried. They say if it lasts longer than four hours, you're supposed to call your doctor, right?

Yeah, when I posted that I was thinking of the officers and Tarkin, not really the Storm Troopers.

And I know who Hugo Boss is. Image

For some reason "Emperor Skywalker" sounds awesome to me. (It's not in the trailer, just my f**ked up imagination.)

The EU may have gone, but there are some interesting inspirations from it in here. I think. I see. Perhaps. Hnng.

I'm hoping that's an Elite Darktrooper...and not a sub-villain.

The new Sith looks really a lot like Revan. Awesome. And X-wings, and Han and.....

Damn, looks excinting.

Also, the first Star Wars spinoff film is going to be titled Rogue One.

Really hoping for a Rogue Squadron spinoff...

I watch it with my son. At first I didn't care for it, with feelings similar to Burn's, but over time it really grew on me. My son loves it, he would dance during th saber fights.

Also, Billy Dee Williams reprising Lando? Pure epic win.

Regarding the "space Nazi" thing, I think it's the red-and-black color scheme that gives it the look.

I still hate Lando for what he did at Cloud City.

But season finale? AHSOKA! Glad to see they haven't abandoned everything Clone Wars.

Oh yeah, I saw this online. Can't say she's my favorite character, but the prototype looks like she could make for a good figure. So is this a more "realistic" version of ashoka, or is this how she looks in rebels? (It counts as discussion because this was shown at the Star Wars Celebration along with the episode VII shtuff.)

I think that's exactly how she looks like in Rebels. The outfit, at least. I remember seeing a promotional cardboard cutout of her for Rebels that looks just like that.
