Considering the deal they made of war machine in iron man 2, the character hadn't made an impact, I remember Sam Wilson more then I do Rodney

I've been thinking Rhodey will bite it as well. Ultron needs to take out somebody in armor and we know that won't be Stark.

Idris Elba gave away in an interview that Heimdall and Loki both appear.

I don't know if I see anyone dieing this film. Maybe Rhodey, but Cheadle is to good an actor to not do more with.....

I dont see that as a guarantee, Tonys parts in Cap3 may be flash backs or something.

and death is not permanent in the marvel u.

You do realise that Captain America 3 is entitled "Captain America:Civil War" and be based (no doubt loosely) on the crossover series from a few years ago that pitted Steve Rogers against Tony Star yeah?

Tony's part will be anything but flashback material. It's a major role.

How was Ultron created? Was a human transferred into a machine? He seems to have a lot of anger and vengeance. Where does that come from? I thought the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were good guys. Why are they helping Ultron in the latest trailer.

I take interviewed statements ,such as that one, with a grain of salt.

not only because I expect therm to lie or misdirect us a bit but mostly because things change from planning to completion in every film.

Perhaps if an attempt to better understand your query, one must attend the activity where sequential photographic images which is delivering a narrative be partaken by means of monetary exhange.......in other words Watch the Movie!

It's opening on May 1. Can't wait to see Josh's take on this sordid tale. Btw guys, I have as much as possible avoided taking a peek at any pics or even speculate over the plot.

On that day, will buy a soda and a big@ss hot dog sandwich and just watch and enjoy.

Marvel keeps uping the ante sto. I hope their winning streak holds on. But alas, we all have to wait for another 2 years for Avengers. Btw, just asking, will they be following a Trilogy formula?

Fenir, Avengers 3 is split into 2 movies so I'm not sure if it makes it a quadology.

Sto@ given civil wars importance on having it be iron man vs captain America. I wouldnt class it as a red Herring.

point taken

given the Civil war theme, i can see Pepper's death going a long way to motivate Tony vrs Cap's potion.

The same would work for Rhodey.

Plus as others have said, you never stay dead in the Marvel Universe (Coulson is already back). Rhodey died in the comics (he's in a cloned 2.0 body), Pepper hasn't.

Plus Rhodey's in AOU. Pepper isn't.

How do you think the Punisher will fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was magnificently portrayed in the 90's Spider-Man cartoon.

Splitting part 3 of movies have lately become a habit. I'll bite. Hopefully it won't affect the story and allow more material in. Thanks.
