Well, at least that's what the site's header says ;)

Oh my God. The anticipation is so high for this, can it ever live up?

You'll have to ask the Seibertron.com staff. They've already been using the all-new "mobile first" admin section to manage Seibertron.com for the past month or so. Toy Fair was our true trial-run with it and it went just fine. :D

I've been working on the new website since Christmas, hence the lack of new toy galleries unfortunately. I think it will be worth the wait and worth sidelining galleries until a later date.

The goal is to launch the new site prior to the Last Knight being released at theaters.

I was looking at the comics section of the site, searching for coverse but I found it very hard to go through.
Its not easy to navigate when you dont know precisely which cover you are looking for. In a recent instant, I wanted to see that nick roche megatron cover for Lost Light, but since the covers are split into different links for the seperate issues, I had no clue how to find it since I didnt know what issue that was. So it was easier to look up "lost light megatron cover Nick Roche" on google.

And right now i am looking for the cover featuring Ravage by Jae Lee for TF vs GI Joe, but I have no clue which one it it since they are all seperated on our site.

It would be easier if there was a view to see all covers and you can filter them down if you want. Like the way the galleries work. I would type Lost Light and have all the lost light covers appear. Or type Gi Joe and have all the Gi Joe crossover stuff appear. The way it is now, you can only see the covers you want to see if you know exactly from what it is, down to the issue number.

I have an idea for the sightings page. Sometimes a store I find a transformer at is not on the list of selectable stores (ie Toys Toys Toys) so my idea is that an “other” option could be added where you choose it, then type in the store and it’s location.

There should be the option there for you to actually add the store. Image

Bring some sort of video broadcasting into the website, the same way that you can go live with the likes of Facebook, YouTube, Instagram ect instead of just having to link those onto the site

I dont know if this has been suggested yet, but when clicking on the "view more news" tab on the bottom of the page, it takes you to a new version of Seibertron where you basically scroll through each article in it's entirety? This makes actually finding the older article you wanted to find pretty cumbersome, especially if it's weeks old. The search function can only do so much, and you can't always find them in the forums. I just thought it'd be better if the layout was more like an extension of the home page, just a picture, and a headline, and you can click it if you want to, instead of having to scroll through entire walls of text filled with links to BBTS,etc.

Seconded. I rarely am able to find an articvle after the second page, especially if a "news" post contains a sponsor's message (which has LOADS of links and pictures in it). The search function desn't seem that great, either. In the end, I usually use Google (via seperate page), OR check my email notifications for relevant threads.

Weren't they there before?

I'm sure they were ... maybe they were broke and Ryan's tinkering to get rid of those 503's have kicked 'em into gear.

Sadly I think they've been broke for quite some time and no one noticed. I inadvertently fixed them by accident earlier tonight!

I noticed and the rubsign is still busted. Throws an error when submit is clicked while updating the profile: "The field “Allegiance” must be completed."

Would it be possible to implement WebM video embeds? It would allow for the uploading of non-Youtube videos directly into posts as opposed to having to link to a separate page (for example, the recent post of mine in the Predaking thread with the clips from a review) and for instances where brief video clips are needed it would be very useful. Obviously I know nothing about web development but if it can be done it'd be nifty!

Random: I say a forum topic under "Unlicensed and KO Transformers Toys" for sharing ideas and requests for characters for 3rd Party toy companies to make would be really good. There may be one already, but one pinned to stay at the top would make it much easier to see by those toys and collectables companies.

You don't need to suggest what topics should be created, you can do it yourself.

What about having a forum where we can discuss Marvel Comics and D.C Comics as literal works. I would love to discuss the similarities and differences between Adam Warlock and Christ and Adam, the first man as well as similarities and differences between Groot and Christ and Adam. Groot appears to me more like Adam before Eve and Wiki states that Adam Warlock was based on Christ. Adam Warlock was opposite in a way because he was not a pacifist. :michaelbay:

Less an idea but a question, was there not an app version of Seibertron in development or is that a figment of my imagination?

Oh, I guess one idea, more organizational ways to arrange galleries. Like obviously I know alphabetical is the default for most everyone, but a chronological or factional arrangement would be kinda cool to see. :-?

With AoL Messenger now withdrawn, can we replace that slot or just add a new one for our STEAM profile?

I'd be a good way for Seibertron.com members to form some game-playing groups and guilds ect...

Soooo...

About that...

I'm sure I've whined about this just about every chance I get but I'll do it again: When is the mobile site happening?

Posting here is painful enough on my phone but playing HMW gets downright INFURIATING (especially when resetting a character) with the constant page jumps I am forever going to the wrong page, or clicking the wrong upgrade, or fighting the site to deploy because of it.

Can we at least get an update and/or a new launch date other than half-past-never? (which is the release date for HMW V2.0 iirc)

I had a random idea while unsubbing from some threads that are just too noisy. Would it be possible to implement a two tiered thread subscription.

Tier 1 - all (get notification of all posts)

Tier 2 - staff only (only get notifications when staff members make posts)

The second option would be to make sure news isn't missed, but the day to day chit chat can easily be ignored?

Would a "like/react to post" system be something the admins would consider or is it off the cards (for software reasons or otherwise)? Just a thought.

It's been thrown around numerous times, I'm all for it (mostly because I don't feel like commenting a lot of the time), not sure of Ryan's stance though.
