Never really went on a date, but I did have a very lovely lady who really liked hanging out with me at my house.

God of War. Went out with my dad to Toys R Us. "You know this game has a lot of sex and violence, right?" "Yes I do. Dad, pay the man."

Tv's without remote controls. That's why my mom had kids. To change channels. That and her VCR collection of Disney, those tape covers were huge.

There's still a box of those here around the house somewhere...

Speaking of which, whose death was worse when you were a kid: Littlefoot's mother, Bambi's mother, or Mufasa?

If you don't know who any of those characters are, you're too young and should GTFO of this thread. >:oP

Littlefoot's mother. I'm fairly certain it contributed to a particularly vivid childhood nightmare that I actually remember clearly to this day.

Ironhide in the '86 movie.

Bambi was the first time I had death explained to me.

Bambi isn't seen, and I was too old for LittleFoot's mom to bother me.

So it just occurred to me that, while I joined this site while I was 13, I am now 27 years old. I've been registered on this site for more than half of my life. It raises a lot of questions about me that I am not prepared to answer.

Which part? That you've been here for most of your life or that you actually made it to 27?

Both of those are on the list, yeah.

10 years ago this Christmas I received my first Transformer as an adult: classics Starscream from my brother. A few hundred of them later, and I'm still here. Somewhat here, but I am here.

The fandom's changed a lot too over those 10 years though. The 3rd party releases have really taken off in ways I didn't expect back when City Commander was released. It's all a bit much for me honestly.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately as I added what is probably the last "Classics" TF to my collection this Christmas (Fansproject G1 Code). 10 years ago, I got Classics Starscream from my folks and Classics Bumblebee from a girl I was dating at the time.

It's been a fun decade though; putting together my Classics, Henkei, and 3rd party collection. Some I was able to get a good deal on, some I paid after-market prices, all of them were ones that I wanted.

So yeah, Merry Christmas and happy 10th anniversary to my Classics collection!

I think Facebook has kind of killed the TF Forums, not just Seibertron.

Many of us made real life connections with friends and Facebook has basically allowed everyone to be their own Moderator.

I know I hardly ever come back to the forums, as I often find most TF news show up in my Facebook feed compliments of Daimchoc.

So it's not really Facebook's fault, it's Daimchoc's. :-P

nah, it's the News Crews. If they actually went looking for the news instead of waiting for someone to point them in the direction of it then they'd see Daimchocs stuff and get it newswed quickly. :-P
