So what do we think of the rumours about Boba being in the second season of Mandalorian? I know there's counter rumours of it being old man Rex but I don't see why it couldn't be both...not like they'd need different actors

I'm really hoping old man Rex, Rex is a favorite of mine

From what I heard Temuera Morrison was hired for a role for the 2nd season, but does that mean he will be Boba? Or did Jango have other clones running around? Also, another rumor I heard is that George Lucas will be hired to redo episodes 8 and 9. But I think that might be just some fans' wishful thinking.

They will NEVER be re-done.

As bad as they were, people just need to accept they exist and that's not going to change.

Yeah I know. Like I said, some people like to delude themselves. But the concept is promising.

As pointed out he could also be playing old man Rex, or any other surviving Clone Trooper. Boba was confirmed to be still alive in the Aftermath books as someone found his heavily damaged armour being sold by jawas on tatooine...

Really there's no stopping him playing a multitude of characters at once as they all look the same anyway :D

some of the rumors I keep seeing are saying he's both Boba and Rex. Would work for me.

On an unrelated note, the PC game X-wing Alliance has been modded to support VR. So I need to cave and get a vr headset...

Still haven't seen season 1. I must be the only person in the galaxy who doesn't care about Boba Fett. This trailer does make it look intriguing.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Boba Fett.

All though the actor who played Jango Fett is in this season but no one knows who as. Old Man Rex, Boba himself or another clone? Maybe even a completely new character unrelated to Fett! Taking all bets.

I'll get around to it. I was just pointing out that Boba Fett does nothing for me. And even if the show has nothing to do with the character, he was a mandalorian, right?

Eh, kinda. More like Jango was a mandolorian, or at least one of the last vestiges of one. By the time of Episode 2 and Jango the maldolorians were already more myth than fact and whatever jango was was almost Mando in name only. Then you have Boba, who lost his father as a child and likely didn't learn much more than a few stories his father told him. So Boba Fett being a mandalorian? Aside from the armor, I'd say not really.

And yes, I know the mandalorians were a big part of The Clone Wars, but even in that setting it was more about the seperatist faction in their culture that deemed themselves to be the "True Mandalorians" and the rest of the culture had lost what it meant to be a mandalorian, going so far as to even elect, by god, ELECT a -PACIFIST- to run their government. So, yeah, they're around, kinda, but the mandalorians are gone. Jango might have been one of the last and Boba really isn't at all. He just looks the part.

Okay, thanks. I'm just a casual movie Star Wars fan, I know nothing of the extended universe.

Some new 6" figures arrived today, which included 2 new Mandalorian warriors.

Image

Mando is so cool, the paint work here and the molding is incredible! I love this figure! And he pairs so well with the Child. I am so happy to have the pair together.

Image

And the Armorer is also really good. I love the forging tools and her cape. She is sheer joy

Image

My universe Lio Prime, himself sort of an oddity in the Transformers world, has a special and unique place in the collection. He is partnered with Mando and the Child, serving as their larger companion and mount. I think he works great with the Black Series Mandalorian figures.

The blacksmith tools and effects are really good with the Armorer, she can now forge just about any weapon or armor that can be made. and I now know who truly was the original Cyber key craftswoman

I can't help but think of Wolverine when I see Lio Prime in that last shot.

I thought the same after I posted it, and i think i have my next picture for a different thread.

I think I need that Mandalorian heavy trooper too.

Uh, yeah. It was **** rad. I loved the Western vibe, and the VFX were on point. The Universe building was pretty incredible in the S2 premier as well.

I mean, last season was pretty **** rad. But this season is BLOWING IT OUT OF THE AIRLOCK. last nights episode had me giggling like an idiot, and the previous episode was a jaw-dropper, especially at the end with the name they mentioned.

Words can barely describe the happiness.

Yeah, I'm only halfway through season 1, but I couldn't help but spoil the rest of it for myself. I'll still watch the whole series, of course, it's visually stunning.
