There is no mention of star convoy in the news you linked to. The contents to these boxsets was never revealed, it was just rumours so far. So we werent sure if it was star convoy. And now we finally know it isnt. This is our first look at the set ever, and it seems that the deco is G2 prime instead of star convoy. You can tell because the chest windows are red.

There's still the possibility it uses the alternate Star Convoy faceplate the mold has.

I love femme bots, so the more official ones we get, the better!

I eagerly await better pictures than out of focus in the background shots of all the new releases, but I like what I see so far.

Although I don't think I like Nautica enough to pay $100 for a box set.

Also, I really hope we get to see Overlord tomorrow. I know we are seeing the wave 5 deluxes but i hope we see more of that wave. Although they might wait until SDCC or Hascon (forget which comes first), which I hope isnt the case because that just means it will be revealed through leaks or early production samples instead.

If I see the Speed Pack in TRU, most likely (depends on how they ultimately look too!), Will! If I find em at Ross or TJ Maxx? INSTA-BUY.

I am also hoping for Overlord pics soon! It will help me not buy Sky Shadow....maybe.

I think there is a higher chance of us getting more femmebots now - one of Hasbro's big highlights from their presentation today is that they're abandoning the 'boys toys' and 'girls toys' categories; preferring not to gender their toys. One of the biggest reasons for this they showed off is that their female demographic for Transformers tripled, so... while I have no doubts their male demographic is still likely much higher and hence they'll be prioritised, I'm betting we'll see more female transformers soon enough. Whether they come from IDW, fan polls or right out of their imagination.

Agreed! Lug is literally based on the Rewind mold, and Aileron is just begging for a TR legends figure too, so maybe there's hope.
(I'd love the rest of them too of course (and why not some of the other Vis Vitalis crew who dont't conform at all to the standard-fembot-bodytype, full credit to Milne on those stunning designs) but Lug and Aileron seem by far the most obvious/easiest options for hasbro to go with at this point)

Here's hoping for more, and more Cons for us in the US! (I totally still want Megatronia.)

I totally voted for Arcee as Prime, btw -- I figured she wouldn't win, but the thought of her Prime-style could have been epic, imho.

Hmm, the legs on Windblade do look kinda Triggerhappy-y, in both robot and alt-mode, from what I can see in these images- and if that's the case, I'd be alright with that! It certainly makes more sense to me than a retool of Highbrow, and the general transformation scheme would also match that of Windblade's previous incarnations: Legs become tail, wings on back/arms (which is admittedly a tiny bit of a stretch), cockpit on back, arms just kind of hang out in jet mode.

On the other hand, the wings are definitely on her back here, rather than on the arms as with Triggerhappy, and the robot arms don't seem to be in the same place on the jet mode. Hrrm, I'm not really sure at all! Is it possible that Windblade might be getting her own mold after all? There's no way that's a Highbrow retool, and stranger things have happened in this line to be sure.

Either way, it kinda makes me wish I hadn't just bought RiD Windblade literally two days ago because I didn't have a Windblade yet and wasn't confident in the rumors of her getting a TR toy...

Gray chest and shoulder pylons, red "windows", blue abs and feet, black legs, mostly black and red truck, and pretty much every other color detail, it's G2 Prime.

Even if we do say it's short because it's mistransformed and not because it's a Legends figure, no amount of mistransforming will make the gray legs form the front of the car when it's Chromedome's backpack that forms his car front. For him to use the Chromedome mold the front of the car would end up being red. And let's not forget that this also has to be a mold that they can somehow work into a jet mode, otherwise what's the point?

It's both. She appears to have Blurr's front/sheild and part sticking out of the top of the car, but has to have Brainstorm's arms in order to have those huge wing rotor things.

She seems to be more pink than purple, I hope that isn't the final paint job (I say that because I remember an early Titans Return toy advert with a Galvatron that was more pinky-purple). I do wonder if Takara will make a Nautica with comic-accurate colours?

I'm always a bit wary of the whole "We're not gendering our toys" thing, but more femmebots is always a good thing. I just hope that we get more dedicated molds rather than slight retools to male characters- the ladies deserve their own molds, you know? Granted, some retools work pretty well (Hot Spot into Pyra Magna/MEGAEMPRESS, Blurr/Brainstorm into Nautica, at least from what we can see) but others really, really don't (Dead End into Dustup/Flowspade, all those digibashes of Chromedome into Arcee, etc).

That said, I do look forward to more femmebot toys. I can think of a fair few I'd like to see get (good) figures as well. Energon Treadbolt would be neat, hopefully if we ever get an Armada Scavenger update (which we totally should) she'll be heavily retooled from him. Likewise, some of the more obscure J-G1 fembots like Clipper and Esmeral would be cool, and of course Minerva deserves her own toy. Thunderblast desperately needs a new toy, as her original one isn't very good and is extortionately priced on the aftermarket. I'd love to see the likes of Firestar and Moonracer get their own toys too.

Really I could fill a whole thread with femmebot wishlisting. Maybe we should start a new thread for this?

The colouring is off because of the lighting. That'll make purple look all sorts of weird.

With an official TR Windblade there is an easy repaint to get Maxima and Slipstream, with their own Titan Masters for heads...if Hasbro or Takara want more of my money.

Minerva is a no-brained for Takara. Recolor Chromedome and tweak Loudmouth. Shapeways even has a snap on lightbar for kitbashers, so i'm going to have a Minerva one way or the other.
