Bludgeon design from IDW2:

There are a lot of design cues in common across both modes, and a lot in common with the Tarn design that was also by Milne. The toy includes direct lifts like the pentagonal panel on the thighs, and while the engineering is different due to the Tarn mold's structure, the end result is very similar in color and shape.

I don't begrudge anyone who wants a G1 Bludgeon instead of this, but claiming it's not Bludgeon is silly, especially since the comic and toy designs both share elements from many other Bludgeon figures.

I dunno, for me the Tarn mold works best as Tarn, at least for me. Also collection wise he fits better too, but if we could just get something that was between this and the RoTF one I'd pounce on it in an instant, but now that'll be a few years off at least, if at all

I still like that Bludgeon, even if i do wish he had more retooling. They really gave him a great headsculpt though

Gamestop has been the place to go for preorders and new Transformers figures in the US and Canada. Case in point: Beachcomber, Axelgrease and Devcon have been found in both US and Canadian Gamestop stores. Now the stores don't carry a lot more than what was preordered so it's not guaranteed you'll find all these three toys in stock at every location. The sightings come from all over the place in either country, but the image below was taken by fellow Seibertronian Cyberbishop who found their copy in Louisianna. These are set to be shipped out by online retailers very soon as well.

We have video reviews below of the three figures. Let us know which of this wave you are planning on getting.

I have to have Axlegrease! I have impulse-bought all the other Junkions but I definitely got a thing for female Decepticons. And Trashmaster also looks cool!
I might pickup Devcon if I see him, but I am still good with my previous Beachcomber — even if the parrot is cute :p

Well, yeah, but it's fun that not only we are told a bot is a fembot, it's also nice when the repainted bot have remoldings that make her LOOK like an actual fembot.

Are you referring to the Xena like breastplate?

I still can't get over her being purple. The shared colour scheme despite everyone being a mismatch of non matching parts is pretty much the defining characteristic of what makes a junkion a junkion. Have to pass on this one just cause she don't look right in a group. Just don't understand why they didn't just make her look like a girl rather than screw up the team colours. Or is she supposed to be an decepticonish junkion?

She's not just a Decepticon-ish Junkion, she is a full fledged Decepticon Junkion. A Junkion who has joined the Decepticons. A defector.
