Personally, I believe it's just breakdown's G2 treatment, which is special since he was the only original released G2 stunticon. So his origins are toy based. But I could be wrong, I wonder if they'll retool Menasor knees to be reversed for cars facing forward

That's not a "rumor" at all. Just a single user's wish. Because most likely, many parts of the trailer / super bot are gang-molded with the main Prime. So a repaint that would only have half the set makes no senses.
As for a Nemesis Armada Optimus, I call that it's very likely because Optimus Prime is always an easy repaint.
Still, I'd love to see a "Nemesis Skylynx" before that.

Am I that single user? Hehe, he was quoting my post.

Primus definitely. But IIRC the manga he appeared in had a trailer for him, so if they want to stay accurate to that, he will come with a trailer this time as well.sol magnus wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:A Rodimus without a trailer would be a welcome sight.
My all time favorite figure from WFC proper. Trailer, no trailer...whatevs. I would buy it again for Rodimus 'Cron or Primus. Or both.

Yeah, seems so. Sometimes we misremember things and think that small things are way bigger than we thoughts. And vice-versa.
Also, if they make a repaint of the lonely Armada Prime cab from the Commander set, I can have a lonely Sky repaint from the Commander Skylinx.
Or a lonely Motormaster cab without the combiner trailer.
Or a Rodimus with no trailer.
Or a Jetfire without his legs.

It's only been a few years since Rodimus Unicronus in PotP. I think we're overestimating how often Hasbro gives us the same very uncommon redecoes. And at any rate, if we're going to get another Black Rodimus, it needs to be this one.
