Dauntless Crash Site - Swoop

Swoop wasn't having any luck landing a solid blow on Silverstrike. The femme was just too good with a sword. On the other hand, she seemed to be holding back.

"You don't want to kill me?" the Dinobot parroted incredulously as he swung his thermal sword. "Not exactly the words of a loyal Decepticreep. Me Swoop think maybe you're as bad at being evil as you were at combat landing protocols!"

The bombardier feinted to the left, preparing to fire his afterburners and tackle the argent femme. However, his efforts were thwarted by a stream of photons scorching his paint job. Fortunately for Swoop, that seemed to be about all it did. However, the frail Seeker had been hit too. Lacking his thick plating, she seemed worse off for it than he did. Swoop hadn't a clue where the shot had come from, but judging by Silverstrike's reaction, it had been one of hers'.

"Ha! Your own buddies are tryin' to fry you just to get to Me Swoop. So much for honor. It's overrated." Swoop fired his laser pistol at Silver, point-blank.

(Slagging A'. I don't know why but Seibertron stopped sending me emails when topics update even though I'm still subscribed, and my spam blocker wasn't stopping seibertron. >.< I knew it was just too quiet. I do apologize, everyone. *Hurries to catch up.*)

Tagan Heights- Skies of Tagan Heights

Discord had been trying to cut through the static which interfered with her communications and orchestrations of the armies. She makes some progress routing the signal through her sensor arrays for a boost, but things were still hazy.
>>Understood, Lord Scourge. The shuttle falls this day!<<
She leaves most of the Sweep drones to help battle the Autobots near the refinery as she goes to muster the patrols who'd reported the Autobot reinforcements if not Tagan's other security measures.

///

Shrike spots more reinforcements arriving, and dives for Bluestreak. Her high powered energy rifle sends dense beams of green energy as she seeks to blast him to oblivion. She didn't take into account that she'll be backing up Swindle a bit, but none the less she assaults the reinforcements.

///

>>I am a strategist, Clench. I go where it is most advantageous.<< Bugly replies flatly. Clench was one to talk, acting as if his own team had done much of anything to prevent the Autobots from entering the refinery. He's barely seen Clench's team on the field.

He wonders where Clench learned of the Pretender technology. As far as he knows even the other Decepticons were supposed to be in the dark as no one was supposed to speak of it. He certainly wasn't the leak.

All the same, Bugly launches himself into battle, and with Grimlock not in the refinery, opportunity knocks. He lands opposite to Rage, and brings his sword like technoorganic hand blade down to hold off Grimlock's sword a moment while he executes a grab for Grimlock's sword arm complete with a paralytic shock attempt to help Rage bring him down. The LSC leader will make a fine bargaining chip, won't he? He can use Grimlock as bait to get any Autobots away from the refinery, and maybe force their withdrawal, or surrender, perhaps. Maybe use Grimlock to ensure there are no bombs in the refinery in the aftermath since the Autobots wouldn't dare to detonate such a thing on one of their officers.

///

As Grimlock whirls around he finds Rage has latched onto his back with her talons, and he now has a Red Sweep backpack trying to rip and gouge his backstrut out. She ignores the presence of Bugly, focused on taking down Grimlock using her superheated talons.

Weapon: Twin Shoulder-Mounted Rocket Launchers
Refinery Complex 3 – Warehouses

Smokescreen quickly found cover amongst a stack of crates nearby. Blast-Off’s lasers had scourched his frame a bit, but nothing too serious. Finally, the lasers subsided. I guess that orbiting coward found someone else to shoot at, Smokey thought as he began assessing the damage he’d sustained in his battle with Carnage. He had damage to his left wing/door, right forearm and wrist, left shoulder, scorch marks across his hood and roof areas, dents and abrasions across his front from skidding along the ground, and the worst - a nasty gash across his back from the Sweep’s blade. Furthermore, one of his smoke generators was out of commission and the other was barely functional.

While most of Smokescreen’s injuries were relatively minor, except for that gash, collectively they were beginning to take a toll on his endurance levels, which were only average on a good day. And this was not a good day. I could really use Ratchet right about now. But Ratchet was not here and there was no sign of Autobot reinforcements yet. He could only hope that they would get there soon. From what he could tell, the LSC was completely surrounded by Decepticon forces and more were arriving every astrosecond his team was stuck in the refinery.

Smokescreen checked the ammo level on his rifle. It was half full and he still had plenty more cartridges left in subspace storage. More than enough to continue fighting until help arrived. And more than enough to take out that little glitch. The diversionary tactician then climbed up on top of a stack of crates and scanned the area below for Carnage. He found her giving Snarl a hard time. "There you are my little darling," Smokey whispered to himself, about to take aim. Then he noticed a drone approaching from his left. It was flying erratically and lower than the stack of crates Smokescreen was currently standing on. Looks like it’s guidance systems are still scrambled. Hmmm…I have an idea.

As the drone passed by just below the top crate, Smokescreen leapt down and landed on top of the mindless ‘con. He grabbed ahold of both sides of the hovercraft and held on tightly as the Sweep drone tried to shake him, but to no avail. Pushing and pulling on both sides of the drone, Smokescreen was finally able to gain some control over it. He then pulled up on the right side, causing the Sweep to bank left. The red and blue Autobot then shifted his weight forward, forcing the drone into a dive. The drone was now on a direct collision course with Carnage, who was still occupied with Snarl on the ground. Using his rifle, Smokescreen blasted away at the top of the drone, destroying it’s guidance system completely and ensuring it would stay on course and not pull up at the last moment.

As the ground, and Carnage, grew larger and larger in his optical view, Smokey quickly leapt off the drone’s back and landed near some machinery. He looked up and watched as the drone continued diving towards Carnage like a huge missle that would hopfully end with a spectacular collision.

On the ground

Snarl fired back at Carnage as the femme Sweep broke cover. Her lasers found their target, bouncing off the Dinobot’s tough chest plate. "Hmmm. Was me, Snarl, supposed to feel that, ‘con?" Not waiting for an answer, the desert warrior continued firing. Then the Dinobot looked up and saw a drone diving directly at Carnage with Smokescreen hanging on to it’s back! What he doing? He crazy! Snarl wondered in amazement. It was then that Smokey jumped to safety and Snarl simply watched to see if the drone crashed into Carnage or not.

Dauntless crash site

Laserfire erupted around Bluestreak as Shrike dived towards him. "Oh no, you didn’t just shoot that green slag at me!" The Autobot gunner quipped, returning fire at Shrike and quickly taking cover behind a large piece of wreckage. Well, it didn’t take long for the ‘cons to notice our presence, Blue thought as more explosions went off, covering him with debris. He then opened his commlink:

>>Bravo! Scattershot! Anyone! I’m under attack. In need of assistance.<<

Tagan Heights - battling Bluestreak near some large wreckage

Bluestreak's shots are avoided as Shrike's agile alt mode performs a wide corkscrew maneuver using he articulated thrusters to goof effect. Once she's clear of the shots, she transforms, and then resumes her downward trajectory. She lands on the opposite side of the Autobot's cover using it against him for the time being with her shield on one arm, her high powered rifle on the other.

Her hip mounted thrusters flare, then with considerable agility she rockets around the cover with her shield in front of her. Her head mounted needler guns pepper the assumed position with a spray of sparks that tend to cause little more than light damage, but the horizontal rainstorm like cone of the needle like energy bullets makes it hard to completely dodge, and can create some distraction, which she counts on to get bearings on the situation as she looks over her shield which protects the majority of her torso.
She keeps ready to take cover again if need be, but she's more eager to put pressure on the Autobot, and take him out before he can do any damage.

Refinery Complex 3 – Warehouses Ground

Ironhide looked rouand at the various battles that were unfolding, it seemed that each Autobot more or less had 'paired' off with a Decepticon. As he surveyed the area, he noticed that Snarl and Smokescreen were having trouble.

'This should be fun' he thought as he ran towards them, dispatchng drones as he ran.

Refinery Complex 3 – Warehouses Rooftop

'No! This isn't how it should happen!' Triggerhappy thought, dismayed at the evnts unfoolding beneath him. 'The Autobots were meant to destroy themselves and then I could claim I'd done it!'
Triggerhappy quickly scanned the floor, looking for the one who'd stopped the Dynobot from impaling Kup. After mere moments, Triggerhappy saw him.
"Ironhide." He said quietly between clenched teeth.
Triggerhappy didn't think about it, he just flew straight down at Ironhide, weapons trained on him, getting ready to extinguish his spark.

Refinery Complex 3 – Warehouses Ground

Sludge transformed from Dino mode, he'd had enough of the drones shooting at him, and with one blast of his weapon, they stopped. Then Sludge heard something, he couldn't describe it then, and never would be able to describe it, but it sounded like danger.
Whirring around, Sludge noticed the before now unnoticed Triggerhappy flying straight at Ironhide.
"Ironhide! Look behind!" Sludge cried out.
"Huh?" Ironhide mumbled, whirring around just in time to see Triggerhappy before it hapened.
"Boo!" Triggerhappy cried out, knowing that he couldn't miss from this range, he was practically on top of Ironhide.
"Ah sl..." Ironhide started, but he didn't get to finish his sentence.
Triggerhappy opened fire, tearing straight into the front of Ironhide's chest.
"AH!" Ironhide cried out, the pain too much to get anything else out. Then Ironhide fell, and he didn't get back up.
"Hahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha!" Triggerhappy cried out joyously as he flew up and over Ironhide's still body.

"IRONHIDE!!!" Sludge cried out as he ran towards his fallen comrade...

Weapon: Energo-Sword
OOC: Don't blow off an attack on your character and then insist that she is clinging to my character's back Rebel Raven. Thats borderline powergaming and I'm ending it here.

Near Refinery 3

As Rage clung to Grimlock’s back she found herself easily within the reach of the Dinobot commander. Stowing away his gun, Grimlock reached behind himself and snagged one of Rage’s arms. With a heave he pulled the sweep off of his back and slammed her into the ground, hard.

Before he could do much else he was attacked by Bugly. He didn’t recognize the Decepticon and assumed he was another new one. He was a particularly ugly looking new one at that, very organic looking. He kind of reminded him of something that he might have stepped on back on that mudball of a world. He would just have to squash this ugly Decepticon like he did the bugs on Earth.

His blade clashed with the Decepticons. As the blades locked together Bugly made an attempt to grab his sword arm. It was an awkward move for the Pretender and it left him open for a counter attack. With his free hand Grimlock launched a powerful punch at Bugly’s midsection, just as he felt a jolt of electricity in his sword arm. It hurt, but he maintained a hold of his weapon.

Tagan Heights- Battling Grimlock

Rage lays on the ground a moment getting her senses back together after getting rammed into the ground. Her armor takes dents, and welts, but her durability, and anger will keep her in the fight once she recovers.

Grimlock's punch connects to Bugly's shell which promptly crumples as it's blown back a bit under the power of the strike. Luckily, Bugly, a master of one of the most punch centric fighting arts of Cybertron, knows how to take a punch. It still hurt, but he took it better than most could hope to.

The shell's antennae point towards Grimlock, then fire another paralytic electrical blast aimed for his torso doing al he can to prevent Grimlock from entering the refinery.

OOC: Sorry for the delay, I've been waiting for J Writer to post with Sunstreaker and Kup. Here's something in the interim.

Refinery Complex 3 - Warehouses

"What does it look like I'm doing?" Banzai-Tron shouted after Bludgeon as he charged in towards the wrestling Kup and Mindwipe. "There's no-one to cover you from anyway...oh wait, there's that lummox." Banzai-Tron aimed at the oncoming Slag, taking care to hold his aim perfectly steady. The Dynobot wasn't the kind to be stopped by a few blaster bolts, but maybe, if he got it just right...
Slag yelped as the anti-photon bolt went into his left eye. Fragile components cracked and went dead as the energy was sucked from them by the black ray. Disoriented, the Dynobots charge went off-course, and plowed into the damaged warehouse where this had all started. Already damaged from his fight with Carnage, the tortured building finally collapsed, and the greasy waste and chunks of energon residue caught light, sending sparks and smoke in the air.
"Doing a lot with a little - The fundamental principle of Crystalocution."
With a crash and a shower of sparks, Slag broke out of the smoldering wreckage, his still-intact robot mode eyes glowering with rage even fierier than his surroundings.
"Of course, it doesn't do everything..."
Slag's punch thumped into the ferrocrete where Banzai-Tron had been standing and drove a crater 2 mechanometers wide into the ground. Nearby underground pipes burst, spraying lubricant and coolant out of the cracks in the ground. In midleap, Banzai-Tron noted worriedly that there might not be a safe place to land...

Refinery Complex 3 - Main Pumps

"SlaggiiiiiiTTT!!!" yelled Scavenger as a whoosh of flaming Energon vapor blasted out of the pipe he was working on and knocked him into the air. He landed close to Scrapper, who'd just finished deactivating the last of the pumps.
"What did I tell you!?" Scrapper barked at the dented Scavenger.
"I didn't do anything!! It went off by itself!!"
Scrapper wasn't listening to his subordinates excuses. He was looking towards the raging battle at the warehouses. The ever-present smoke was growing thicker, and was glowing red from the flames of burning warehouses and dead drones.
"No time to dither. Hook, haven't you finished yet? We need to secure the rest of the energon!" Scrapper picked up two of the pumps he'd just disconnected from the energon well. They could put to use sending the remaining reserves down the pipes to safety. He just hoped the warehouse fight stayed at the warehouses...

Near the wreck of the Dauntless

Thank Primus. Bluestreak was distracted by that red warrior, Scourge was handling Sunstreaker, and that loudmouth Blast-off was distracted by the femme he'd just shot. Perfect time to head to safety.
Swindle leapt off the building and out onto the road, heading towards Onslaughts last known position. >>Apologies for the radio silence commander, but the 'Bot were using ECM, couldn't get through. Theres a squad of 'Bots advancing through the intersection I was transmitting from. Had to fall back slightly. Still ready to rendevous.<<

Refinery Complex 3 – Warehouses

Carnage stopped to look at the sweep drone Smokescreen threw at her. She was stuck, trapped, transfixed by the drone rushing at her. Then it happened. Out of the sky, a blast struck the drone, knocking it out of Carnage's way. She looked up at the sky, only to hear a mess age on radio. <<You get Blusetreak, I'll take the dinobot.>> She obeyed her mysteroius helper's commands, charging Bluestreak firing her lasers.

Orbit over Tagan

Blast-off closed his radio connection. It was good to know someone was listening to him. He raised heis rifle and zeroed in on Snarl. Try this, Dino-dummy, he thought as he pulled on the trigger.

OOC: Just FYI, JaAm. Bluestreak is NOT the one who threw the drone at Carnage. It was Smokescreen. Bluestreak is out by the wreckage of the Dauntless fighting Shrike and no where near Carnage. My post below will reflect that Carnage is fighting Smokescreen, not Bluestreak.

Refinery Complex 3 – Warehouses

A shot from the orbiting Blast-Off effectively destroyed the drone that Smokescreen had carefully aimed at Carnage. The remains of the drone crashed nearby, showering the diversionary tactician with debris. Fraggit! Lucky little glitch! Smokey thought as he saw Carnage charging at him, lasers blasting away. Smokescreen quickly got to his feet and returned fire, all the while running backwards towards cover behind a large piece of machinery.

Meanwhile, Snarl had now come under fire from Blast-Off. Lasers from above erupted around the Dinobot, knocking him to the ground. One shot struck his already injured back, sending a sharp, fiery pain throughout his body. "Aaaahhhh!!! That hurt!" To avoid any further damage to his back, Snarl quickly transformed into dino mode, where his tough armored plating would provide more than adequate protection from Blast-Off’s lasers until the mechanical stegosaurus reached cover nearby.

Dauntless crash site

Bluestreak was taken by surprise as Shrike suddenly appeared from around the wreckage, firing dozens of needle-like energy bullets at him. Sparks peppered the front of the Autobot gunner, causing little to no real damage. Just enough to annoy him. "What?! How did you get around here so fast? Nevermind!" Seeing that a shield protected most of Shrike’s upper torso, Bluestreak aimed his rifle squarely at her legs and fired several shots in an attempt to knock the ‘con off balance. Then, Blue transformed into car mode and sped away looking for some help from his Autobot comrades nearby.

(I'm bowing out of the Transformers RP here. With that, I'm writing my characters out of the battle with Shrike the only fatality.)

Tagan Heights- Skies of Tagan Heights

Discord meets with the newcomer Autobot Gunship which opens fire on her, and the Sweeps. She attempts to dodge, but a drone is in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the collide in conflicting evasive maneuvers, and both are shot down.

///
Tagan Heights-

Shrike lifts of the ground and evades in a light retreat from Bluestreak's rifle rounds, and before she can retaliate, he's retreating. She can easily catch up to him, but she decides to be satisfied in his retreat.

She watches him go making sure he's not going to wheel around and try to assault her.

Shrike hadn't noticed the fact that Bluestreak's rifle did hit her until it was too late. The damage causes a power surge in her beam cannon and it discharges. Unfortunately it's not meant to be fired in robot mode, and the beam collides into the covering, which houses her power cell, and there's a monumental set of explosions, one her energy cell, the other the cannon's battery utterly destroying Shrike.
///

Tagan Heights- Battling Grimlock

Bugly finds out that there's an improper connection between his robot form, and his shell which causes a power surge from his Circuit-su electrical blasts rendering him, and his shell unconscious.

Rage is hit by stray fire in a one in a million shot that keeps her down.
