Sludge was a joy to figure out. Transforming him without instructions was very rewarding because I could discover on the fly those neat tricks the designers did for that amazing transformation. Both bot and dino looks amazing.

My only complain is that this sludge do not come with any blast effect despite having both the mouth and gun designed to use those. Plus he's being a fire breather on the cover of the box. That's why I gave him one of Siege Jetfire's blast effect. With this, he's perfect.

The SS86 Dinobots are amazing and are truly worthy of the "Mini MP" title. The team is shaping up well! Only 2 more to go!

Not surprising but still good to hear positives about Sludge.
Really looking forward to getting that guy!!
Hoping we get real, official word about the other two well before the end of the year.
Same thing with the other two Insecticons.

I am really anxious to see SS86 Ironhide... But I can't think of what it would take for me to want to buy it...
I do hate that gray hinge in the middle of the chest. However, that being changed still wouldn't be enough.
I'm just hoping for a regular release of Ratchet.

He has nothing going on. His colors and details are just bland. There is nothing about him that catches my eye. He needed his bulk colors broken up more. His head also needed some more work, it needed like some paint linework or something, it's a microcosm of the whole figure to me.

Plus his arms are too thin, making his proportions look off. But that is secondary to me to his boring palette

I got my Junkheap yesterday, and he is a joy, so full of character, and so many new parts, at least half the figure is new, and I really appreciate how he was assembled properly

Wreck-gar really soured my hopes for this guy since all his spikes were glued in at weird angles and his facial hair didn't actually fit into his face, but Junk heap is amazing

There was a listing found for SS86 leader class Snarl for 2023!!!!
Kind of funny that his 3 second cameo in the movie was enough to put him in this subline.
But no complaints here… Next year I’ll finally have my favorite Dinobot in my collection!!!!

It's not really related to his screen time. This is just the line they decided to release these guys in.

While it would be mostly accurate for Snarl not to be in the SS'86 line. This does look like the place HasTak want to release a modern update of the full team in their G1 designs.

This little bugger is a fun surprise. Prime vs Prime just uploaded images of the previously never before seen Core class Studio Series 86 Ratchet. This is technically the first time we get a SS 86 character at this smaller scale (not class, scale), though you can surely mix him with the Legacy and Kingdom core class figures. What is most interesting about this news is that these official images are out there, somewhere. Maybe it's in preperaton for the SDCC reveals, meaning that it would be then that we see what is left of the Studio Series line for 2022, like leader class The Fallen.

I really like the look of this core Ratchet…
But I’m only getting core Decepticons.
Not to mention, I can’t justify $13+ for each one of these.
In fact, if I can’t get Shockwave on some sort of sale/promotion, I’ll skip him & wait for Thundercracker.

Ratchet had a small but important part in the film, Ironhide too; while these figures look far, FAR better than their deluxe counterparts I can't help but feel disappointed that they're this size and not larger. They just won't fit in my SS86 display.
